“Let me go, Arka! The longer you are the less polite.”
Michaela threw out Arka's hand. He stared intently at Arka while holding back his emotions.
It seemed, Arka was getting daring to act as she pleased.
“We have an agreement and I'm here to charge it. I have fulfilled my promise, and now you must fulfill your obligation.”
“I've said, we're talking tomorrow.”
Ignoring Arka's words, Michaela stepped out of her room and approached Julian.
Arka's eyes continued to look towards Michaela who chose to leave her for the sake of another man. His anger was already at its peak. He could no longer tolerate the closeness of Michaela and Julian, though Michaela said there was nothing between them.
“It's your choice. Don't blame me.”
Arka clenched her hand and hit hard one of the walls of the master room. He will remove the man from beside Michaela.
“I won't let you go again. This time, you will be mine. I won't let anyone else get in my way.”
Arka stepped out of the teacher's room towards the school gate. He got into the car waiting for him as usual.
“Ken. Take care of the man. Make sure di won't be around Mikaela anymore.”
Arka stared intently at Julian who was walking with Michaela. The car slowly passed them.
“Master wants me to get rid of it? You mean sir, kill him?” Ken deduced Arka's own words.
Arka hit the back of Ken's head who was judged to have a stupid thought with the book.
“You think you're working with the mafia? You idiot! You're enough to make him move out of Jakarta. It's up to you to throw him where, from not in Jakarta.”
Arka doesn't know how Ken can draw conclusions that far, though it doesn't seem like a bad idea.
“Oh. Well Mr. I guess ...”
“How can papa survive with an aide as stupid as you.”
They both remained silent. Half an hour away, Arka arrived at the home of her parents. During this time, Arka more often lived in an apartment alone.
The relationship of Arka and her family is no problem, except with her brother, the God. Since childhood Arka has been sent abroad and not too close to her brother.
The considerable age difference between them also made them not very familiar. When Arka was born, God was already 8 years old.
Their nature is also contrary. Arka is more silent and does not like to be disturbed by anyone, while Gods are more sociable and friendly to everyone.
Actually, Arka himself is self-limiting. He built a high fortress so that his brother could not enter his life. And Arka has a strong reason for that.
“It seems, Mr. Dewa is visiting,” Ken said before Arka got off the car. He saw there was a black car that used to be parked beside God's garden.
Arka turned her head and found God's car parked.
“Ck! If you know from the beginning, I better go back to my apartment and come over for dinner. Looks like mommy deliberately asked me to go home so I could meet up with Dewa.”
“Master, hold your emotions. Better not make a fuss. There is no point in fighting with Lord Dewa.”
“Depends on what he does. If he starts bothering me, I won't hesitate.”
Arka got out of the car after Ken opened the door for her. “Don't forget what I ordered. I don't want to see that guy's face tomorrow at school.”
“Good, Mr.” Ken bowed his head.
The gods were not there, but the Gods were standing behind him facing the pool. He was talking to someone using his cell phone.
Arka accelerated her pace. He did not want to meet a God, especially with his bad mood.
At least, until the family dinner, Arka does not need to mince words and can remain in his room. However, this dinner he could not avoid. Like it not like, Arka had to get out of the room and join his family.
A must for Sagara family to gather at least once a month. And because Arka was in Jakarta, inevitably he had to follow that tradition.
The waiters finished serving dinner on the table. As usual, Arka chose to sit next to her mother, while Dewa sat side by side with Sisca, his wife.
“How was your adventure at the new school? Papa heard you got the highest result in your midterms.”
“Nothing is too special, but I found what I was looking for.”
The god turned towards Arka. Honestly, Dewa did not know the reason Arka returned to Jakarta in the midst of the education he was taking.
“What are you looking for, Arka?” ask God.
Arka turned a moment towards the God. “Searching for my happiness,” the answer is short. Actually Arka did not want to answer, but he did not want to ruin his dinner.
“What do you mean, you're looking for a girl? No I thought you were an adult now.”
Arka did not respond to the words of the Gods.
“I'll bring him here soon.”
“Gosh! Are you that serious? As far as Big Brother is concerned, you were never heard of having a lover.”
“I'll marry her soon.”
“Married?” Everyone in the room simultaneously questioned Arka's decision.
“Why? You guys think I'm too young?”
“Honey, have you thought about it?” Sonya, Arka's mother tries to ask Arka to think about her decision which is considered too hasty.
“Mama and Papa knew the reason I came home was to look for her and of course marry her. I've agreed to all the terms from Papa.”
“But, Darling ...”
Bram, Arka's father holds Sonya's hand. “We already know from the beginning the purpose of Arka back. And by then we agreed. So let him decide his future. She's mature enough.”
“He's new 18 years.”
“When you married me, you were also 18 years old, dear. Do you know how hard Arka wants? No one will be able to change it.”
“Iya, I know. It's just ...”
“Do not worry. I'm sure Arka's choice is right.”
“Kakak so curious. Who is your chosen girl who made you this confident to get married.”
“Oh, Papa think you ...”
“It is better that we do not have to discuss it anymore.” Arka cut Bram's sentence. He did not want his brother to know who the girl he was going to marry was. It will all be a surprise when Arka brings her to this house.
