Forced to Marry a Student

Forced to Marry a Student
Cold War

"Come on. I'll introduce you to my family."

Arka drew Michaela's hand to approach her family. Michaela could feel that a sharp gaze continued to stare at her unbrokenly. Mikaela really did not dare to raise her face.

The closer he got, the stronger his hand held onto Arka. Arka could clearly feel Michaela's uneasiness. He drew Michaela closer and embraced her. Of course it made the man who was staring at him become even more furious.

"Pa, this is Michaela. The wife-to-be I told you about."

Right now Mikaela was standing before the figure of a middle-aged man who still looked dashing and handsome at his age.

"Good night, Om." Michaela hesitantly extended her hand. He did not know what Arka had told him about and Michaela did not know if the Arcan family accepted him.

"Night. So, you're the one who can make Arka give up on continuing Om's company." Bram looked friendly welcoming Mikaela's hand. "Since long ago, Arka never wanted to deal with the family business, but in order to get our blessing, Arka wanted to do it."

Michaela turned to Arka. He did not expect Arka to sacrifice that much for him. Arka was willing to do something she did not want for Michaela to be accepted into her family.

"Honestly, Om doesn't mind Arka's choice. The age difference is not a problem for you. It's just that maybe Arka was worried that it would be a problem. Moreover, as far as Om knows, you are the teacher at Arka school now?"

"Yes, right, Om. Arka is a new student at the school where I teach. And I'm the Arka's homeroom teacher."

"Oh. It seems like this kid has planned everything carefully. He even occupies your class."

"You'll know that Arka will do anything to get his wish."

This time Sonya spoke up. They did argue about Michaela, but in the end they accepted Michaela for Arka.

"We're glad you could join us for dinner." Sonya suddenly hugged Michaela. "Tante can see that Arka is happy with your presence."

The warm treatment of Bram and Sonya made Michaela's heart relieved. All his worries were gone, until a voice returned to bring fear to him.

"Are you not going to introduce your future wife to your sister?"

Unlike Arka who was smiling faintly at the request of the Gods, Michaela's body instantly froze at the sound.

"Of course I'll introduce my future wife to my sister. Brother is the person I most want to introduce to my future wife."

Arka turned to look at the God with her smile. Michaela still did not dare to turn around until Arka embraced her.

"Darling, this is a God, my brother. And Sisca, his wife."

Arka brought Michaela closer to the God and Sisca. Sisca first extended her hand and welcomed Michaela.

"Hi, I'm Sisca, Arka's sister-in-law. I think we can be good friends."

"Hi, Brother, "reply Mikaela.

"And this is my husband, God." Sisca stroked the back of the God and the God extended his hand to get acquainted with Michaela."

As Michaela slowly wanted to greet the hand of the God, Arka immediately held her hand and brought Michaela to sit down.

"I think it's quite an introduction. I'm sorry, brother, it's only papa I'm allowed to shake hands with Michaela. Other men can't touch it but me."

Bram laughed hearing how Arka became so possessive.

"I hope Brother Dewa will still remember his position. Surely, Brother God doesn't want to make me angry, does he?"

Arka still smiled at the God, but her eyes were sharp as a warning.

"Of course, Arka. You don't worry. What's not yours, you shouldn't take."

Perhaps no one realized that there was currently a cold war between the Gods and Arka. They considered the words Arka and the Gods to be just a last wind and a mere joke.

"Then we go to the dining room, yuk! You must be hungry, right? The guest we've been waiting for has also arrived."

Sonya first stepped towards the dining room and asked the waiters to serve their dinner.

Throughout the dinner, Michaela chose to be more silent and only answered questions addressed to her. Mikaela was simply uncomfortable with the existence of a God.

Arka's attitude to Michaela was friendly and occasionally Arka kissed Michaela's hand which he continued to hold until his own mother also teased Arka.

"Mikhaela's not going anywhere, Arka. Why do you keep holding his hand? Mama didn't think you were this romantic."

"I just want Michaela to remember that she's mine. Sometimes he likes to forget that," replied Arka casually. Then Arka again kissed the back of Arka's hand while looking at the God who already looks very furious.

After dinner, Sonya calls Mikaela and Sonya to help her prepare dessert. Michaela could see that God was approaching Arka who was standing by the pool wondering what they were going to talk about.

"Did Arka treat you well? I thought, Arka is a cold figure, but seeing how she behaves, I was really surprised" Sisca said as she helped Michaela arrange the dishes.

"Arka treated me well, brother. He used to tease me a lot and was happy to see that my face was flushed red, ", Michaela replied as she turned to Arka again. Make sure they both don't fight.

"Tante hope, you can take good care of Arka. Arka's age is still young, to be honest, Auntie does not agree that she married too soon, but Arka insisted. He said he didn't want you to be taken by another man."

Sonya and Sisca laughed, while Mikaela could only look down embarrassed.

The friendly atmosphere in the kitchen is very different from the atmosphere by the pool.

The gods deliberately approached Arka. He would do anything to get Arka to cancel her wedding plans.

"Are you sure you want to marry a woman older than you, whom you haven't even known for a long time?"

Arka turned her head when the God came and immediately expressed his objection.

"Don't you mind the age difference between us, or you object to Michaela being my wife?"

"Whatchu mean? Brother just doesn't want you to make the wrong decision. You're young, Arka. There are still many other girls you can find."

"Why am I looking for another girl, and I've found who I'm looking for?"

"Listen to Brother, Arka. She's not the girl you deserve. Trust in my brother."

"Why is my sister so sure? Or, is it possible that Brother knew him?"

Arka stared intently at Arka. Without the need for God to answer, Arka already knew very well the real answer to that question.
