Fake Princess

Fake Princess
DXXXVIII Chapter

“What are you guys talking about?”

I raised my face looking at Izumi who walked over with a fish in both hands, “nothing. We are just thinking about how to resell all these fish before they rot,” said Haruki who also looked at Izumi.

“Do we have to sell it? We can just leave it here,” said Eneas who had raised a sword from the fish held by Ryuzaki.

“If we abandon all these fish and make them rot. It would make those around here suspicious, and not only that. If the fishermen were suspected, Kacper would have trouble finding me more information. I don't want that to happen,” said Haruki who again pointed a sword at me.

I raised my hand to grab the sword from his hand, “then, we can't delay time. The sooner we sell it, the sooner we can proceed with our plan,” Haruki nodded his head as I finished speaking.

“So Izumi, open the big wood that is a window near the door. We're gonna start selling all these fish now. Eneas and Ryu, you guys help Izumi to attract buyers to come here!”

“We?”

“I?” exchange Eneas and Izumi simultaneously.

Haruki stood up with a glance towards those who were sitting crouching their heads looking at him, “why? Do you feel insecure? You're Princes, aren't you? How can a Prince not be good at arranging words,” Haruki told them in a row.

“Do the order from me now! Don't complain too much!” continue Haruki back to make them not make any sound anymore.

I pulled the fish-filled barrel close to the open window by the door, I raised one by one the fish in the barrel to Izumi who was standing in front of the window. Izumi put the fish on the basket on the table they got behind the house. “Annoxious,” grumbled Izumi, his face still down with both hands moving neatly arranged the fish earlier.

I walked pulling the barrel that I had brought to the corner of the room before I turned around to approach Haruki who was sowing salt into the barrel, “nii-chan, are you sure? Order them to attract buyers?”

Haruki put his hand in a barrel containing fish that he had previously sprinkled salt in, “they are Princes, someday. A King, you must speak. At least, they must be good at talking so that when their people are experiencing doubts, they can calm him.”

“And not only that ... During the war, they will lead a lot of troops. If you make a reluctant voice, how can they do it later,” continued Haruki, he took a deep breath before getting to his feet.

“Exit your voices! Will buyers come if you guys just keep quiet like that?!” haruki snapped while pointing towards Izumi and also Eneas who were standing bowed by the window.

“Mana your voice, Izumi! Have you turned into a coward now?!”

“Cash! This and that is something different!” Izumi shouted back by staring at us from outside the window.

Haruki sighed while pointing the leather bag filled with salt at me, “I hand over everything inside to you, Sa-chan. Those three foolish brothers of yours, really cannot be expected for this,” Haruki continued, he walked out of the house as I had grabbed the leather pouch he had in his hand.

______________.

“I'm so tired,” timpal Aeneas who is sitting leaning by the door.

“What's with Ryu?” I asked by pointing towards Ryuzaki who was standing down near Eneas.

“Some men buy, thinking if he's a girl. He, probably now, is trying to control himself because previously some of the men had held his body.”

“Sachi!”

“Ryu!” I raised my voice when Lux whispers came from the bag I was carrying, “don't use it! Control yourself!” get me back to him.

“I have been following them, take it easy .. No one knows, if they will die because of me,” Ryuzaki said as he raised his face looking at me.

“Ryu, the one mistake you made, will not only hurt yourself, but also them,” Haruki said as she threw her gaze at me.

Ryuzaki took a breath before he threw his gaze to the side, “well,” she said, his face still turned with his hands crossed.

“Are you sure? We don't need to lock it?”

“No need, the previous man will come in a few days to stay there. All we have to do now is look for lodging, then clean our bodies before proceeding with the plan,” Haruki said, he turned back by stepping his feet away.

I turned around, walked behind him. Every now and then I raised my hand to beat my waist, we had been selling these fish for two days without stopping. My whole body felt heavy to move, fishy smell and sticky feeling that also stuck in the body, making me reluctant to suck my own scent.

“I don't care where we live, I really want to lay down the body now, nii-san.”

“Eneas, you represent my feelings,” I said chiming in on her words that walked a little bent down beside me.

“I understand your fatigue, we have not had enough rest since leaving the place. Be patient, after we find the place, you can immediately rest,” Haruki said, he continued to step forward without even turning his head.

“Are you sure, there will be an inn that will accept us? I mean, try looking around!”

I looked around as Izumi's mutterings rang out from behind. I stared, some passersby, stopped their steps for a moment then stepped away by covering their noses as we walked up to them. “Are they unconscious? Without anyone catching fish and selling them to them, they can eat them every time they want to eat them. Damn, I'd love to take off my clothes, then smother them to their faces one by one.”

I bowed down, covered my mouth using my palm, trying my hardest not to laugh as the grumbling voice from Izumi sounded. “Izumi, you're grumbling too hard, look! They are all watching us,” said Haruki, his footsteps continuing regardless of the sharp glances that lead to us.

“I don't care. It was better if they could hear it, again .. Seen from anywhere, they were just cowards who only dared to hide in groups. With the fishy smell of fish alone they can not stand, how could they have the guts to fight us,” continued Izumi, this time his voice was more clearly heard than before.
