"How can his prison burn?" Izumi steps her foot next to Haruki.
"Eitherway. I don't know the exact event yet, either" Haruki said in response to Izumi's words.
"Nee-chan, are you okay?" Tuke Aeneas who had suddenly walked beside me.
"I'm fine, can you help me carry this drinking bag?" Revealing her gaze, spread out my palm holding a water-filled leather pouch on her.
"certain. I was really worried about the two of you earlier" he continued, patting his head gently with the palm of my hand.
"You two are slow to get there" said Niel without looking at us who were standing next to the horse he was riding.
"Close your mouth! If only..."
"Nii-chan," I said cutting Izumi's words, a slight tongue-tapping sound coming out from inside her lips.
I give my body to walk away from them, I move to the right and to the left splitting the crowd of several Knights who stood in front of the prison as I let my hand seize a torch that was in the grasp of one of the Knights. The scream that Niel made several times called out to me, I just ignored it.
"Where are you going?" He pulled my right wrist.
"I'll go inside nii-chan. Who knows, we can find the slightest clue," I said, returning Izumi's gaze, as I felt her hand grip on my arm weaken.
"Then walk behind me" he walked into the prison, turning my gaze to his increasingly powerful hand, clutching his sword that had been cleared of blood.
Hot air hit my body as my feet stepped into the room. The light from the torch I held in my left hand slightly illuminated the room around, small puffs of smoke coming out from some of the blackened wood around filling the room.
I closed my nose using my right arm which was still tightly grasping a sword. The smell of burnt flesh pierced my nose followed by the hot air that grew stronger as we both walked more and more inside.
I repeatedly put my feet on the floor over and over. The heat on the floor seemed to flow into my feet. The torch I held up looked up at that pitch-black wall of earth.
I stepped following Izumi who had walked down the stairs. Izumi pointed her palm towards me, I grabbed it and held her palm earlier. My eyes fell on the charred corpse of a man on fire, the corpse stood firm with both hands clutching the iron bars that locked it.
The corpse's mouth was gaping wide with both of its eyes that had disappeared. His whole body blackened with the smell of a scorch that stung the nose. My body was aghast as I felt claps several times touching my shoulder.
"You guys went inside without my permission?"
"The sooner this thing ends, the better it'll be for us, right?" Izumi replied to Haruki's words, join me in looking back at Haruki.
"Did you guys find anything?"
"Not yet, we were just about to look for a clue," I said as I turned my eyes to the corpse.
"Daisuke, check the room in the corner. Make sure there is nothing dangerous for us to get there" Haruki said, followed by the sound of footsteps walking past me.
"Don't do anything at will. I, still the leader of this city," Niel's voice suddenly filled the room, I bowed my head to look at him who was walking with a Knight towards us.
"Heh, runaway nobles need respect?"
"Heh, a leader who is not good at taking care of the problems that exist in his territory, trying to show his power?"
"Don't test my patience" he said in response to Haruki's words.
"I should have said it. We could just get out of here and let you guys get ruined, you know? My sisters almost lost their lives because of your unbelievable side" Haruki stepped up and tightly gripped the clothes Niel was wearing.
"What do you mean?"
"With you looking at the appearance of my two sisters yourself, you must have understood what they were going through during the trip," Haruki said back as she pushed Niel's body back into the back of the Knight standing behind her.
"Stop looking at us. We were still alive, even though fifteen people were moving about to kill us," Izumi's voice sounded.
Niel silently froze as the Knight standing behind him pointed the sword right at his neck. I looked at the Knight earlier who was staring at us with a small smile on his back at the corner of his lips. I was still motionless about the man, as well as my two brothers.
The knight was suddenly jolted with a stifled voice, his eyeballs were enlarged with blood flowing out from his lips. The body of the Knight had fallen to the side, my eyes were diverted to Eneas who was walking on the body of the Knight earlier.
"I have done your command, nii-chan," said Aeneas walking closer to Haruki.
"My sister's good work," Haruki replied with her palm rubbing against Eneas' head.
"What does this mean?"
"Someone betrayed you, I asked Aeneas to wait a while outside before he entered following us. Because, like an unexpected event like that... He can help us attack the enemy secretly" Haruki chimed in on Niel.
"It's actually part of my and Izumi's plan to find out there's a traitor hiding behind you. We deliberately didn't tell Sachi because he might have been the target of the enemy, although without being told he would quickly understand our plan."
"I'm sorry, your brother," he said again, turning to look at me, I replied with a soft nod of my head.
"I deliberately discussed the plan with you and your army, so that the traitor would try to kill my brother who was separated from the main entourage. Fighting two people is very profitable especially if one of them is female compared to a group of men who are good at fighting. The news of my brother's intelligence being a threat to them is indeed an advantage to this plan..."
"So what you're trying to say, that... I was played by you and that traitor?" Connect Niel to cut Haruki's words.
"I still can't confirm it, what do you think Sa-chan is? Are you thinking of something?"
"Your Majesty, all the rooms have been checked. I found nothing, except the charred bodies of two people burning inside there," Daisuke's voice followed by the sound of approaching footsteps.
"Actually, while in the woods. I've been thinking about the mastermind of all this," I turned my eyes to Niel.
"Who? Who's she?"
"Can we go back to your castle? I'll let you ask him that question directly," I said returning his gaze.
