Sometimes life is unpredictable, as the game presents tension in every challenge.
Every pass must give unexpected surprises. Sometimes it is sadness, and sometimes happiness is matchless.
Sobs of sobs painted horror and pain kept coming crashing. A promise is just a promise can not be brimmed and boils down to a time that is not until when.
All of that is just a speech that can either be done or not, let fate take it where.
The past sometimes casts painful shadows on the way. It cannot be denied or simply wiped out and forever remains eternal.
Wounds, pain, and pain become a feeling that surrounds the heart. Reality cannot be denied and must be lived as the provisions have been planned.
The true writer of destiny knows better what a complicated life can be. However, it is God who gives and replaces that sadness with a smile of happiness.
The tears had withered, changing new seeds that gave another hope to reach. It hurts, it hurts, but it must believe in every provision of Him.
"Have not cried on Darius, as if he were not a man," Jasmine said on her phone.
Darius who read the message again looked up at the pair of puppet eyes in front of him.
The cousin again developed a warm, friendly smile.
"Don't smile stupidly like that, it's terrifying," Darius wiped a rough tear.
Jasmine snorted softly as she pursed her lips slowly.
Silence struck, the two cousins there enjoyed their respective thoughts. There are too many stories that they go through in different ways.
Like black and white, the lives of Jasmine and Darius were far inversely proportional.
Darius enjoys freedom, while Jasmine is trapped in darkness. Thinking about it the son of mere puppets from Alexa was very hit.
He did not expect to hear the cruel story unfolded by the father on his biological cousin.
"I'm sorry to represent you, Jasmine. Honestly, I didn't know that you treated me so badly and so cruelly. He killed your parents and those closest to you heartlessly."
"How could I still admire someone like that? Moreover, he also alienated the mama to a remote place. I can't forgive her at all."
"I thought, with him sending me out of the country, for wanting to help you manage your father and mother's wealth, but in fact" Darius paused the sentence with a rough sigh feeling stuffy in the chest.
"I can't imagine what the days were like. Mamah said you were in chains too?"
His last question made Jasmine nod briefly. He pulled out the bottom blanket and showed a trace of iron chains wrapped around the ankle.
Darius's grey eyeballs followed Jasmine's gaze. At a glance he was surprised not to play watching the former chain there.
"God how did this happen?"
His hands stretched out tremblingly touching Jasmine's ankles. The owner again busy typing something in the phone by hunting.
Amidst his activities, Jasmine secretly glanced at Darius who was still observing both of her legs. He smiled slowly to see what his cousin was thinking.
A little while later, Jasmine stuck out another phone revealing an important note in it.
Darius took it back and read it.
"It's okay, don't hate your own father. All of this has indeed become my destiny. You are lucky to see the beautiful world. Again forgive his mistake, for he is nevertheless your real father, who has worked hard to make you happy."
"I'm glad to see you again, Darius. Thank you for greeting me, even though there was originally a feud between us. However, I'm relieved, you know the truth."
"Because of him has also awakened me if behind the darkness God still shows the light. I'm just stuck and somebody pulls me, that's all."
"Because behind the pettiness I received. I can get guidance. Whatever happens, whatever hurt, whatever hurt, has become part of His plan."
"So, Darius once again, please don't hate him."
Those were the words that Jasmine conveyed through typing. It reached the deepest recesses of a Darius.
He returned with unbearable tears. Like a stream, droplets after drops of clear crystals kept falling.
"I didn't think you were" Darius tried to hold back a sobbing sob. "You really are a good woman, Jasmine."
"You deserve to be happy after this sadness. Again, I apologize for what happened. I even thought about killing you, the people closest to you, and defending the wrong people. I'm ashamed, Jasmine. I'm ashamed."
"I'm sorry" said Darius, saying sorry repeatedly.
Jasmine simply nodded her head chiming in on his words. He knew it would not be easy for Darius to face this reality.
He only knew his family was fine, but after so many years passed the reality that there was a strong slap.
Guilt continues to eat away at feelings making him embarrassed to just look at his cousin. Because after all he had lived from Jasmine's efforts.
That means he also enjoys the misery that his closest cousins pass through. Darius continued to be overwritten by growing guilt.
Jasmine gave a soft clap at the top of her head indicating that everything was fine.
...***...
In the end, Ayana could only sigh violently. He still could not believe that Jasmine had been so badly injured in the neck that he could not make her talk.
The tissue that was slashed by the dagger was cut off and needed time to return to its original state. However, that was the struggle Jasmine had put in to protect her precious people.
Ayana was deeply moved and could not stop crying considering that.
"Dear, don't cry anymore. Jasmine must be fine, it will definitely heal. Didn't your mother say the incision was stitched?" Zidan came and hugged her from behind.
Ayana who was standing in front of the large glass on the second floor only gave a brief nod. Both of his hands were busy wiping away the tears then taking a deep breath and exhaling them slowly.
He did it over and over again to calm himself. He turned around and faced his husband.
"I'm scared, Mas. I was so worried when I found Jasmine hurt. He already promised me not to get hurt, but-"
"Dear Shut, we don't know what Jasmine's thinking. However, I think it must be for the best, he was even willing to get hurt to protect you and Danieal, right?" said Zidan cupped his two cheeks and wiped away the trail of tears using his thumb.
Her husband's warm treatment calmed Ayana down.
"Yes, he's right. We should not waste Jasmine's sacrifice protecting us, but clearly, from the start the person did target Jasmine," Ayana explained later.
"Indeed, but who would have thought that he had also targeted you? The desire of a person no one knows. Emotions can make a person dark in the eyes," Zidan said again while trying the nose bangir the pujaan slowly.
Ayana gave a short nod and grasped the two arms still perched on her face.
"True, we can't let our guard down." Ayana took another breath. "I'm relieved, at least the problems between the cousins are over."
Zidan nodded briefly and hugged his wife tightly. He also put a warm kiss on the top of his head warm.
Ayana leaned her head against the chest of the husband's field listening to the increasingly soothing heartbeat.
