PTI CHAPTER 73 - Official Anniversary
"Dad..." Megan approaches her husband so Theo stops watching over their daughter who needs some privacy with Zester.
"Don't now baby" Theo refused. She already knew that Megan was going to distract her.
However, Megan persistently still tried to persuade Theo who finally made the man melt.
Finally, in the inpatient room it left behind Ara and Zester alone.
"Luck your mother's understanding," Zester could breathe a sigh of relief. He spread out his hands so that Ara would come closer. "Come here, little mermaid!"
Slowly but surely, Ara approached then climbed into the patient's bed to hug Zester while burying her face in the man's chest.
"Don't cry" said Zester, who did not want the girl to shed another tear. "I'm here and I'm not going anywhere!"
"You're scaring me" Ara replied.
"I'm even more afraid, I'm afraid I can't see you anymore" Zester peeked at the top of the girl's head.
Though Zester's body is still weak and sick all but it all paid off when he got a hug from Ara.
A moment of silence as Ara and Zester were still enjoying the warmth as their skin clung to each other, as if they were checking that their partner was doing well.
"It must be painful" said Ara opening a voice that broke the silence.
"If the pain proves my feelings for you, I will" Zester said.
"So, now we're dating, right?"
Ara tightened her embrace in embarrassment.
"I like to be hugged but you just touched my wound" Zester said, holding back the pain as Ara's hand pressed against her back.
"Ah, I forgot," Ara hurriedly took off her embrace. "I'm sorry!"
However, Zester held the girl back from staying away.
"Stay here" said Zester.
"What does it mean that you feel that way?" fishing rod Zester. He knew that Ara was avenging his love only that he had to listen to himself from the girl's mouth so that Zester would be sure.
"Of course, I'm afraid of losing the obscene director, sir" Ara said.
Zester chuckled at it, he peeked at the girl's forehead. "You know, when I was unconscious, I felt like I was in a big ocean, I met my daddy and he invited me to come with him!"
"But, just then I heard your crying voice, I took off my daddy's hand and wanted to hug you back!"
"I like you, Zee" Ara said after hearing Zester's story on the brink of death. "I accept the promise you made to me but don't go!"
"I have no intention of leaving, indeed" Zester lowered his head and kissed the girl's lips.
Initially clinging to it only but Ara slowly opened her mouth as if giving foreign guests permission to enter.
There was a sound of tongue-dropping in the room until Zester released a kiss because he felt Ara had difficulty balancing himself.
"This is a sign of the inauguration of our anniversary," said Zester while rubbing Ara's lips.
"Oh, a little swollen!"
"I'm going to wear lipstick to cover it," Ara opened her bag to look for her lipstick, lest Theo's father come to his senses.
"Here let me put it on" said Zester when Ara managed to get her lipstick.
The man slowly smeared Ara's lips using the lipstick until the door of the room opened because Theo wanted to take Ara home.
"What are you guys doing?" ask Theo.
Zester poked in shock, lucky the swelling on Ara's lips was covered. "We didn't do anything, father-in-law!"
"Ara, here," Theo asks his daughter to stay away from Zester. "Somebody wants out!"
Ara did not ask what it was, the girl just ran away from Zester. It turned out that Theo's attention immediately led to something poking out under the blanket.
"It's not healed yet, especially if it's healed" Theo grumbled. He was increasingly wary of his future son-in-law.
