PTI CHAPTER 23 - Detective Ara
"Aaaa.." cried Ara as she moved her hand away. "Why did you kiss her like that?"
Ara fluttered her hand into the air, hoping that Zester's kiss was gone.
"And what was that? preventing you from getting married? Are you crazy!" pissed Ara.
"Why should I do such a thing?"
Ara looked at the clock on her wrist, there was no time left, she hurriedly left so as not to be late because her college eye clock was less than thirty minutes away.
Left alone in the parking lot, the man banged his head on the windshield when Ara was gone.
Zester is playing with his marriage and asks Ara for stupid things.
"Sir.." call Mike's assistant who just arrived.
"We're leaving right away!" Zester got in the car.
Mike's assistant didn't want to ask too many questions, he got in the car and drove the car to the company.
Because Mike's assistant had told the staff, they came early in the morning to welcome Zester.
When he arrived, one of the security guards opened the door and Zester went down. The man saw his staff standing in line to welcome him.
"Good morning, Mr. Director," they said.
Zester did not return the greetings of his staff as usual, he just kept walking until he entered the elevator that was special for him and certain staff.
"Well, why the hell is the director recovering quickly," grumbled the staff.
Despite their grumbling they still returned to work.
Zester continued his work that he had previously done in the apartment, his recovery period was interrupted because the board of directors made an emergency meeting schedule to discuss employees who died from previous work accidents.
The news had already been successfully covered up so they had to prevent it from happening again.
"The meeting hours are on reschedule after lunchtime, sir," Mike's assistant reported.
Zester nodded his head. "Then you take Ara to the campus. He should've been here before the meeting started!"
"Already, sir," answered Mike's assistant.
Just seeing Ara's face makes Zester so excited.
While Ara itself becomes inconsistent when the course hours take place. He thought about Zester's ridiculous request.
"Basic freak!" pissed Ara.
When her college eyes were done, Ara wanted to eat in the cafeteria but Mike's assistant had already come to pick her up.
"Mr Zester asked me to pick you up, Miss," said the man.
"I want to eat first," Ara wanted to refuse and asked Mike's assistant to go first.
"It looks like Mr. Zester is already preparing for lunch," Assistant Mike pushyly slightly.
"Lunch? He should have treated me like an intern, you unprofessional, "Ara grumbled.
Not wanting Mike's assistant to wait for him, Ara ends up following Zester's confidant.
It's a good time to tell Ara about Zester's curse. The sooner the girl finds out, the sooner her master's impotent problems are solved.
"Yes, Miss..." Mike's assistant calls Ara's attention when they're on their way.
"What's wrong?" ask Ara. Looks like something serious.
And Mike's assistant starts telling me about the day Zester was cursed but the man denied it until now.
Actually Ara was also not confident about such superstitions. But, considering her sister who has a sixth sense from childhood, made Ara reconsider the story of assistant Mike.
"Can I have the profile of the victim of the work accident?" ara Pinta.
"I'll give it when I get to the office" replied Mike's assistant.
So why did Zester's snake just react to him?
Ara has to solve these cases one by one.
