There's Always a Beginning

Gani approached again and whispered something in Usfi's ear with a voice full of gentleness. At once Usfi's face blushed red and her heart palpitated finely, while her aunt smiled widely. He hugged Gani tightly, until the sound of the car horn behind them rang out loud enough.

Gani immediately regained her senses and let go of the hug, then, returned to driving. After the car advanced, they only found out if there had been an accident earlier.

Usfi noticed a few people crowding by the roadside, and his eyes were centered on a man who resembled someone.

“Bang! I think he looks like Jundi, if I don't see it wrong!”

“Mana?” Gani sees the fame shown by his wife. At that time the car was running slowly because it had just been congested due to an accident could be decomposed, so the vehicle could not go fast.

The two men looked in the same direction and they agreed to pull the vehicle over because they wanted to make sure someone who looked like Jundi, their best friend in the past.

“Jundi!” Gani shouted after getting out of the car and closing the door followed by Usfi.

Some people turned their heads, but only one person seemed to squint his eyes and smile broadly while shouting as well.

“Gani? Usfi!”

They approached each other and the two men hugged each other full of warmth.

“You?” the question mark was full of guessing, staring at Usfi and Gani alternately, “Don't tell me you're married and don't call me?”

Jundi was indeed quite far from where he lived first, because he lived with his wife in his father-in-law's house. As a friend, he does not know how the story and journey of Usfi life is also Gani, because he often returns to the house of his mother who is still in one village, with the parents of two friends.

“Yes, we are now one family!” sahut Usfi and Gani nodded.

“Akh .. You are finally married too. Comeing! Tell me how it happened!” Jundi said while taking Usfi and Gani into his house, but the two friends refused, because it was impossible to leave Azam who was still asleep in the back seat.

They ended up exchanging life stories and experiences. Jundi also recounted his life with his wife and, living in a house with his sickly mother-in-law, while his wife was an only child.

That's what made him give up, to choose to live and work in the area. In addition to supporting his wife to serve parents, Jundi also felt the need to foster a good relationship as the head of the family.

Between husbands and wives, we must support and appreciate each other instead of demanding to be loved more. Love is a sense of God's mercy, a sense that should be present without self, a true proof of sincerity.

After they exchanged stories, Jundi invited his two friends to, enjoy a typical dish of his region that is quite famous, as a form of gratitude. Were it not for the accident that had just happened, perhaps they would not have met.

“So, that's destiny, he always had his own way to get to the destination, as we are now ..did we ever expect to meet here, didn't we?” usfi.

“Yes! Sorry, Jun! Not that we don't like your invitation, but, our time is limited, can't linger here!” gani Sahut.

Although, Jundi was a little disappointed because Usfi and Gani rejected his good intentions, but, he remains grateful to be able to exchange stories and hopes they can stop by to pick up the typical souvenirs he will prepare when they come home tomorrow.

The couple went back on their way and arrived at the Asma house after the dhuhur time. Gani prayed at a nearby mosque from Asma's house, while Usfi and Azam waited in the car.

“Azam want to meet Ibuk, loh now ... would you like to love Ibuk?” Usfi asked as he rubbed the back of the boy sitting on his lap.

“This love!” said Azam innocently, while showing the foot-shaped Kojek candy that he had eaten. The sweet food that the children liked was a gift from Ima to Azam, let it calm down in the car, he said.

“Eh, it has been eaten, time to be loved by people? No, dong ... The name is not polite!”

“Azam Don't know!” answer later.

“Azam want to come with whom, follow Ibuk what Dad?”

The boy thought again with his innocence.

“Kalo Umma come with you?” Azam asked back, after they were close, Usfi asked Azam to call him Umma. They slept together for a few nights. Usfi's attitude full of gentleness made the child quickly familiar.

“Umma would like to come with Daddy!”

“Ya, Azam too!”

“Later, if Ibuk is sad how? Kan, Azam Ibuk's son too!”

“Azam follow Dad!” said the boy again after shaking his head.

Children and mothers who are separated for more than a year, certainly difficult to be close. Although, they still communicate with each other through video calls, but still different if often met in the real world.

Especially since the age of a few months, Azam was often left with his grandmother, while his mother was always busy working.

Shortly after, Gani finished praying and went back in and was about to drive the vehicle, but Azam whined.

“Dad! Come with Dad!” he said he extended his hand to Gani.

“Eh, do you want to drive the car first, we want to meet Ibuk!”

“No want! Come with Dad!” whining the boy again.

“Already, Bang! Let me take it!” Usfi said as he removed his seat belt and, exiting the car after releasing Azam from his lap.

Usfi changed the position of Gani driving, and the man who showed the direction towards a house that was quite beautiful, clean and soothing, a medium-sized house with many ornamental plants around it.

Gani still remembers, all the plants were once the result of his work on the sidelines of free time but, can bring money. Now, Lilis who continued the business that was previously started by Gani, until the flower plants in front of the house were more and more.

All must have a beginning, including all the high must have been low, before growing must have been small, before becoming strong, must have been weak.

As the Usfi car pulled up in the courtyard, the door of the house opened immediately, a woman over middle-aged came out and, welcoming Gani and Azam who had first gotten out of the car.

“Bang! I just search for hotels, yes!” Usfi said from inside the car.

Gani closes the car door after lowering Azam, then turns to his wife, through the window.

“Waiting ..., I didn't take long, really. Kan, I just nganter Azam, his mother misses his son, not the same me, so, why also long here!” Said.

Usfi decided to stay in the car and only intended to turn his car around and park on the side of the road. However, Azam cried loudly, the boy was afraid that Usfi would leave his father and himself.

“Umma!” she screamed while shedding tears.
