We arrived at the Gunung Pulosari parking post. There are several cars and motorbikes parked there. The post guard asked for our personal data. He recorded carefully. They also checked our bags. Maybe they are worried that there are climbers who bring drugs or other items that are not allowed.
“You know the ban?”
*“Can't bring booze and drugs?” answer Riki.
“Not just that,” the post keeper stopped writing. He looked at us from behind the glass counter.
“Make sure that you are menstruating do not bathe in Curug Putri. No one's perverted. And, don't talk carelessly!” the words of the counter guard man were very firm.
“Mir, you're not coming any more months, are you?” my question, whispering.
“Neighbor Ri. Safe.”
“Good. We will definitely not break it,” replied Riki.
We pay a parking fee of five thousand rupiah per motor. Once everything was ready, Riki asked us to make a circle.
“Before climbing, it helps us both pray,” Riki fix his glasses.
“Praying, start!”
We all bowed and dissolved in prayer.
“Completed.”
We started climbing through the community plantation. Riki as a leader is in the back row to make sure the members are okay. Each of us carried a mountain bag complete with all the necessary equipment.
I was in the third row. I saw Mira looked exhausted because the terrain we traveled continued to climb steeply.
“Lu tired, Mir? Rest first,” I said.
“New also start,” Eldi interrupts.
“Not really. We continue on. Gua can't wait to see Curug Putri,” Mira turned towards me.
We entered a banana plantation. I saw some of his tree trunks were damaged by animal bites. I'm sure it's a boar bite. From some articles that I have read, Pulosari residents are indeed pest infested by wild boar.
It used to be said that there was a village head who was commonly called Mr. Arsad made a pact with the pig king of Mount Pulosari so that the pigs did not attack the plantation of the citizens. Since the village chief died, the pig colony began to attack the residents' plantations again.
On the way, I saw a grandmother standing among the banana trees. His face was wrinkled and his hair was full of gray hair. He watched us passing in front of him.
“Rik, who is it?” my many.
As our line crossed Nyi Amah, I looked back. Turns out he was following us. I stopped the step too.
“Look, he followed us,” I pointed towards the grandmother.
Riki. He smiled friendly.
“Nyi... punten do not disturb us, yes!” Riki spoke to him.
Suddenly Nyi Amah looked panicked. His eyes were glaring at us. He pointed, then hurriedly walked towards me.
“Your love, son,” Nyi Amah touched my cheek while moaning.
I pulled his dirty arm.
“Udah, Ri, let's go again,” Eldi pulled my arm.
Riki returned to the line. We left Nyi Amah. I saw his face look sad.
“Daria kebahan paeh!” yelled Nyi Amah from behind.
"He said we're all going to die? Duh.. I was thinking and scared," I said.
“Udah don't be trusted. I told you he was a madman,” Riki said with a smile.
We also continued our journey. I glanced at the watch, it was only ten in the afternoon. But the more into the forest even more dim. I looked up at the sky. The weather is cloudy.
My company began to enter the forest. The road is getting steep, rocky, also slippery. The sound of the monkey herd sounded very disturbing. They were clinging to the branches of the tree while looking at us.
“Why, Mir?” my many.
Mira quit. He fixed his glasses and looked at the bushes.
“Dad?” said Mira. All I know is that Mira's father died a long time ago.
Riki's panicked. He ran from behind to Mira.
“Mira! Don't look there!” riki shouted while blocking his view.*
*My feelings are starting to get bad.
