Chapters. 64 Are unwanted

"Sorry, Pa. But Grandpa Jhon wants to throw away my cat. I don't want to! Anyway I don't want Grandpa to throw away my cat! Don't throw!" Jesper clings his arms to the black cat. He doesn't want to be separated from the cat that Jesper thinks he is. Equally lonely.

Kane glanced at the cat in Jesper's arms. Is it because of that shabby cat, Jesper and Mr. Jhon arguing? Kane saw how his son was very protective of the dirty cat.

"He's just like me. Stubborn, dissident and unruly." Kane nodded and took a deep breath.

"Jesper, let that ugly cat be dumped by Grandpa Jhon. He's very dirty and dirty. Then dirty your room. Come on, just throw it away," Kane said firmly.

"don't want. I don't want another cat. I want this cat. He must have compassion. Who knows, after she's taken care of, she'll turn into a beautiful cat." Jesper still with his stance. 

He looked at his son. However, instead of Jesper being scared, the 5-year-old was not afraid at all. Jesper looked at Kane with a flat gaze. Looking at Kane's unfriendly eyes, the black cat further hid his seedy face into Jesper's arms.

"See. He'll dirty your clothes! Come on, give it to Grandpa Jhon so he can replace it with a better cat. You don't throw a tantrum, Jesper. Papa's tired and you're making a fuss?" Kane seemed to forget his 5-year-old son. The boy was too small to understand the tired man. For him the cat was just a soft heart to brush off his loneliness.

"Pa, you scared my cat. Jesper doesn't want to throw this cat away. I'm sure she'll be beautiful later. Can you give Papa a chance?" Jesper's melodious voice jolts Kane's daydream. Her soft eyes implied her sadness. But Kane was too tired to understand the whining of the 5-year-old.

"What opportunity? You'll only hurt her if you let her come with you into the room, Jesper. He's gonna scratch you!" Kane tried to scare the son. But again Kane forgot his son's high IQ.

"No. He won't hurt me. Because the one who keeps hurting me is Papa himself. I just want to be accompanied by this black cat, am I still wrong, Pa? I want to have friends too, Pa. Is it because me and my cat are both unwanted so Papa wants to throw it away? Does that mean Papa will also dump me someday?  Why has Papa never seen me? is it because I'm ugly just like this one? So Papa wants to throw away this ugly cat too?" Jesper asked with his two teary eyes. He was sad to see the black cat that his father wanted to throw away.

Kane was stunned hearing the little Jesper's words. The man only repeatedly blinked his confused eyes. Behind him, Mr. Jhon also looked at the sad Jesper. From the giraffe, Mr. Jhon is sure that Jesper will cry soon.

"Whatchu mean? Who wants to throw you out? Papa's been just working to get money for you. Why did you suddenly say that papa was going to throw you away?" Kane's voice softened a little.

"Yes, Jesper. Why else would your dad be looking for money? Of course it's all for your future. So you don't have any trouble with your school fees." This time Mr. Jhon spoke. He could not see his grandson was hurt.

"But, Papa always scolds me. Papa never played with me either! Is it because I'm not like the great Papa that Papa wants to throw me away?" Jesper spoke while sobbing. He could not endure his sadness. After the injured and disappointed Jesper, he immediately ran out of the house.

Maybe for Kane it doesn't mean anything. But did Kane forget that Jesper never got the affection of a child in general? Kane is always busy at work. 

Every day the man would leave early in the morning and go home late at night. That's Kane's day in the big house . Unknowingly over the past 5 years Kane has forgotten the little Jesper who always missed him.

Poor little jesper. He is very accomplished at an early age. Mr. John always said if Jesper gets good results, then Kane will be happy and considerate of him. 

Yet again Jesper did not get the attention he wanted. Even when he has struggled to get achievements, Kane always ignores them. Even though it never crossed the man to praise the son who had succeeded in achieving achievements at his small age.

Every day Jesper hopes his papa will be happy with the achievements he got. At the age of just 3 years, Jesper managed to win the English speech competition. Similarly, the drawing and coloring competition is quite proud for the school.

It was then that little Jesper was thrilled when he saw his papa coming home from work all day at the office. At that time the little Jesper ran carrying the charter of appreciation he had won to the lap of the papa. However, the little Jesper did not get any praise or attention from Kane. The poor boy was left with a million hopes that he had thrown away.

Little Jesper does not get love or affection like a child in general. He was raised by a luxury that did not mean his morning. Every day he was lonely when other friends always spoiled his parents. 

Jesper could only see it from a distance. It is not the luxury he wants. Just a little affection and praise then the boy was already very happy. Jesper could only see Kane's back passing away.

Even at the age of 5 years, Jesper is able to master English and mandarin. He was also almost accepted into the Elementary School because he was so smart and genius. But again the success of the boy did not touch the corner of Kane's conscience as a papa. Jesper has lost all hope and pride in his father.

"Ck! Does he not have manners? Is everyday? Ignoring the old man who was nearby?" Kane's voice was like holding back anger.

"Kane, he's just a kid. Let it. He'll be back later. I'll persuade him again later. He's a good boy. You rest. I'm sure you're tired, Kane." Mr. Jhon tried to suppress Kane's anger. The old man knew Kane was tired. However, Mr. Jhon also realized that Jesper was too small. His childish behavior was still fairly natural to him.

From a distance, Jesper stared at the papa. "Papa's always mad at me."
