Chapters. 49 Bad News from Park Yang

Morning replaces the night. Slowly a yellow tinge began to shine upon the earth. The sun slowly appeared. In one of the rooms in the style of oriental Chinese interior design or modern Asian interior design is quite pampering to the eye. 

There tend to be thick with natural elements, such as natural colors, interior materials in the form of wood, bamboo, and natural stone and the use of ornamental plants bonsai and orchids as decorations.

Interior materials of wood, bamboo, and natural stone can be applied to furniture and decorative ornaments such as wood carvings on the walls, urns, paintings in the form of Chinese writing or wood paintings sculpted to resemble the shape of a dragon, fish, and lotus flowers.

In that room, David was being lulled into a dream. Though the sun had greeted the earth, but he was still calmly and casually dreaming beautifully. Until someone comes knocking on the door.

"David? You awake yet? It's mom. David's? Then mom comes in?" 

Cindy started showing her nose. In this spacious and comfortable room apparently the son was still cradled by the dream goddess. He shook slowly. Then he took a breath and approached the bed.

Cindy smiled looking at David's handsome face. Has a sharp nose and clean skin. He then placed a tray containing tea and sandwiches to fill his son's stomach. Cindy woke David up. Lovingly he shook his son's body slowly.

"David, it's noon. Come on, get up." Cindy sighed as David wriggled softly behind his thick blanket. The man yawned and tried to open his eyes.

"Mom's? Is it morning?" David rubbed his eyes. He began to sit up on the bed. Same with Cindy. He sat on the edge of the bed and watched his son with great aim.

"It's noon. You need to wake up, David. There's something you want to tell you" Cindy said with a serious look 

David's eyebrows swooped sharply. He rubbed his face slowly and began to put on a serious face. Even if his eyes were not fully opened. But the curiosity is much greater.

"What's up, Mom? Looks like this time it's not good news" said David.

Cindy nodded her head. "really. This is not good news. Your father went to Kane's office yesterday."

"Kane? What did you come there for? He didn't come to my office yesterday. Then why did you bother to go there?" David felt uncomfortable.

"Last night your father took mom to talk. About that legacy. And who will be his successor. Diamond is likely to be in Kane's hands" Cindy said.

Cindy looked at David. It seemed that the son was not surprised at all. Did David know this all along? Cindy sighs. His heart has been agitated since last night. 

It's a tough decision and again it's the fact Diamond is waiting for the time to be destroyed. Even so, Cindy still does not want Diamond to belong to Kane. Only David deserves to replace Park Yang.

"Aren't you surprised?" ask Cindy.

"I just guessed it. I have a strange feeling lately. I think it's just because Diamond is in trouble. But I'm more and more convinced that sooner or later you're going to Kane" David said.

"You mean you've guessed this? Has your father shown any signs?" Cindy sharpened her ears. He was very curious why the son had guessed the bad news.

David nodded his head. "Lately I've been very irritable. I think it's because you're old and there are a lot of problems you're dealing with. But I even went so far as to say that I'm not very good at handling Diamond's corporate problems."

David stopped his words. He looked far away. "Dad said I was very different to Kane. Even Kane was able to get to the point of its glory with only a small capital that father gave. Dad said the words I deserve are I'm useless and I don't solve Diamond's problems. Though Kane was able and even managed to almost equal the success of father."

Cindy's eyes were round and gleaming with rage. Park Yang to the heart said his favorite son was not becus. Even worse, Park Yang even compared David and Kane.

"The old man is a bitch! Why would he say that to his own son?" Cindy was angry and did not accept.

"Mom, Kane is also his son, right? I don't think I'll be able to get rid of Kane. Considering he's also dad's son. He is also entitled to a legacy from his father. But, I don't like dad always comparing me to Kane. Though all this time I've always been a favorite of father," grumbled David.

Cindy and David were both silent. Both of them drifted into their minds. Cindy clenched both her hands. He won't let Kane get the treasure. Not with Diamond.

"Mom doesn't like your father's decision either. But mom couldn't argue either. You know your father, don't you?" Cindy took a breath. 

Authoritarian men are hard to guess. Throughout their marriage, Cindy could never even make Park Yang slightly succumb to her. Even after he gave David for him as heir. However, why now Park Yang has to find his son from a servant just to be his heir? Cindy tightened her jaw. He's really angry.

"Mom, relax. We can think for a minute. Mom don't do weird things that can make you lean more on Kane. We have to be careful" David said.

"How can you calm down? While your father will soon give Kane the Diamond! You know, even your father persuaded Kane directly! He was willing to come all the way to Kane's place just to give some of his property to the servant's son, David!" Cindy snapping. His two red eyes felt a heart wound.

David remained silent. He looked at his mother with pity. For more than 20 years his mother accompanied his father, but his father seemed to just look down on Cindy who had accompanied him. Though Cindy could have been looking for another man just for a higher throne.

I also love how Cindy has gone. Then Park Yang willingly gave some of his property to the servant boy? What has the servant done so that he has the right to his son to inherit? 

Kane too, what has he given Park Yang that makes his father believe in him so much? That's how David's brain works. He was also angry at the current situation. Where the affection of his father was more inclined to Kane. 

David had forgotten. That he's had Park Yang's affection since childhood. Unlike Kane who has been wasted since the past. Just because Park Yang wants to give the treasure that is already the right Kane alone must be questioned by David. Though it was only a small part of the attention given by his father to his eldest son.

"David, mom has an idea. Come here." Come here." Cindy whispered to David. I don't know what the plan is but he won't let Kane be Park Yang's successor. Whatever happens.
