Talisha served a meat stew and sauteed broccoli in front of her husband who had been waiting for almost 45 minutes.
"Please eat!" Lisha showed her smile.
Ezaz took the rice, side dishes and vegetables served.
"I'm going to go to the room, have a good meal" Lisha said.
"Sit down and feed me!" pinta Ezaz's.
Lisha frowned.
"Why are you still standing? Come sit!"
Lisha sat back down.
Ezaz enjoyed his wife's cooking. "Where did you learn to cook?"
"Learn from Bi Yal" he replied. Bi Yal is the cook in this house.
"I want you to cook me food every day" Ezaz pinta said.
"I can't cook every day, Zaz. My work outside the house is very time-consuming" Lisha said. "And I can cook if it's a holiday or have some free time" he continued.
"But I want your cooking!"
"You want my cooking? You're not delirious, are you?"
"No," Ezaz replied as he continued to chew.
"Did you start falling in love with me through my cooking?" Lisha looked at her husband so greedily.
"Did I also like Bi Yal, because she is good at cooking?" back asking.
Lisha pursed her lips then leaned her shoulders on the chair and folded her hands on her chest.
Ezaz looked up at his wife and smiled. "Do you need proof?"
Lisha lowered her hand and leaned her chest on the dining table. "meaning?"
"Nothing!"
Lisha stomped both her legs under the table and put on a sullen face. "You always make me wonder!"
"My hobby is like that!"
Lisha tilted her lips. Then she asked her husband, "Do you know who the perpetrators of the terror on set?"
"Is this important to you?"
"Yes, obviously important. She almost made my life float, wouldn't you be sad if I left?"
Ezaz paused for a moment to look at his wife and continued to eat.
"Maybe it's my fans and Grandpa alone who feel sadness if I leave this world" Talisha said.
"Don't play anymore, you really made my appetite disappear" Ezaz put down his spoon.
Lisha looked towards the plate that had left nothing.
Ezaz wiped his lips and walked to his room.
"I don't taste it but it runs out, too, you son of a bitch!" his gerrick. Lisha followed her husband in the room.
...----------------...
The next morning, Lisha leaves for the office as usual with Jessica.
Dito was also present in the office to greet his superiors. "Good morning, Miss."
"Morning too," Lisha smiled.
Dito glanced at the woman next to Talisha while smiling with a grin.
Lisha walked into the room and Jessica waited outside.
Dito smiled as their eyes met each other. "You still suspect me, Miss Guards?"
Jessica was silent.
"Didn't you want to drink something?"
Jessica did not answer.
"Hey, Miss. Are you so curious about me?"
Jessica just gave a sharp look.
"Gosh, don't look at me like that. Scared me," said Dito smiling insinuatingly.
Jessica remained unmoved.
-
Talisha walked out of her room, walked over to her bodyguards. "My husband's waiting in the parking lot, I'll have lunch with him."
"I will accompany Miss to the parking lot" Jessica said.
Talisha also agreed.
The two walk to the parking lot and Dito catches up with him a few minutes later.
Jessica stood staring at Talisha's car from a distance until it disappeared from her eyes. After that he rushed to leave the parking lot but his steps were blocked by the figure of the man he suspected.
"Didn't you want to have lunch, Miss Guards?"
"No."
"Hey, come. Miss Lisha is also safe with her husband, aren't you filling your stomach so you can take care of her?"
Jessica was momentarily silent, "I can pry information about her by approaching her."
"Miss Guards, are you still thinking about something?"
Dito smile.
The two had lunch at a restaurant not far from the office and were rarely visited by Lisha employees who spent time resting at the place.
"Spaghetti bolognese and mineral water" Jessica told the waiter.
"Same as it seems," said Dito.
"Okay, please wait." The waiter passed.
Jessica just kept quiet as she spread her eyes.
Dito looked at the woman in front of him with a smile.
Jessica looked indifferent with a gaze directed at her.
"You're actually pretty, why did you choose to be a bodyguard?"
Jessica did not answer.
"We're not in the office, act like normal people. Let's just say we're friends" Dito said.
Until the food was served Jessica remained silent.
Both began to eat their food.
"How long has it been a bodyguard?"
"It's only been two years" he replied coldly.
"It's still too short," Dito smiled trivially.
"You doubt my abilities?"
"No, the person you want to look after and protect is an artist and a businesswoman's wife. The guard's flight clock was guarding him not too long ago" he said.
"You want to find trouble with me, sir?"
"No" he replied casually.
"Don't say anything if you don't want your face battered" he said.
While Lisha was so happy her husband took her lunch with his two in-laws.
Silvia hugged her daughter-in-law so warmly.
The four ordered food while waiting for the order to come they chatted.
"Ezaz, very good, right, to you?" silvia asked Lisha.
"Yes, Ma."
"Thank God," Silvia smiled.
"We'd love to meet your parents, Lisha." Leo.
Lisha looked at her husband.
"No need, Pa." Ezaz Sahut.
"Why, Zaz?" ask Leo.
"You will be surprised" replied Ezaz.
"Mama don't understand what you're saying, Zaz?" Silvia looked at her son's astonishment.
"I will bring you together, but after this do not separate us" said Ezaz.
Ezaz's statement made Lisha smile happily. "I know you're starting to love me."
"separate? What did you guys do wrong until we had to do that?" ask Leo.
"Ma, Pa, don't talk about Lisha's parents. Let's just eat, there's a time when you'll meet them" Ezaz said.
Silvia and Leo nodded in understanding.
The food was served, the four of them enjoyed lunch together without discussing Lisha's parents anymore. Silvia instead recounts Ezaz's childhood, making the man a little upset with his mother.
Elsewhere, Jessica and Dito finished lunch. The two left the restaurant together because they used one car, a vehicle that delivered and picked Lisha up.
When Jessica opened the car door, she heard gunshots.
Dito who was beside Jessica pulled the woman's body to squat and take cover behind the car.
And sure enough not just once but 2 shots at once.
People around were screaming hysterically and in panic.
After the atmosphere had calmed down, Dito and Jessica stood around his gaze.
The front windshield and the left passenger section looked cracked by lucky shots of bullets not penetrating.
Jessica snapped the car glass and sent it to her boss.
They did not tell Ezaz this because he was with his parents and his wife.
His fear will make Talisha frightened and even more traumatized.
People in the crowd looked at the car that was shot.
Not wanting to invite more people to gather, Dito and Jessica immediately left the restaurant.
"They think Miss Lisha is in this car" Dito guessed.
"Yes, I think the same."
"You have to be careful, I suggest changing different cars" Dito suggested.
"Yes, I'll tell Mr. Ezaz. But thank you for helping me out" Jessica said.
"Together," Dito smiled.
