Chapter 10 - Learning Business

Talisha refused Mama Lidya's lunch invitation because she did not want to be influenced by the woman.

So, tonight finished eating she was waiting for her husband in the television room. Talisha kept looking at the wall clock. But her husband did not come home yet. The drowsiness began to attack but remained in his custody.

At 9 p.m., Ezaz came home in a mess of clothes and a face full of bruises. Talisha looked at her husband's astonishment.

"What happened to you?" Ask Talisha.

"It's none of your business" Ezaz walked past his wife.

"Well, I won't ask you again. But, I just wanted to let you know that Mama Lidya allowed me to work for the company" Talisha said, staring at her husband's back.

Ezaz smiled happily, he then turned his body. "Tomorrow I'll teach you about business!"

"Thank you" Talisha passed by to her room.

Ezaz also went to his room to clean up.

Talisha awakens when the clock is still showing at 11 p.m. He grabbed a glass on the nightstand and drank it. Because it was over, he went out of the room to get water.

Just a few steps from her room, Talisha heard something from the direction of the kitchen room. Braving himself, he approached the origin of the voice. She saw that her husband was trying to treat the wound on his face.

Ezaz was unaware of his wife's whereabouts.

"Can I help you?" Talisha offered herself.

Ezaz gasped in surprise and looked over.

"I'm sorry, to your surprise," Talisha pulled up the chair next to her husband and sat down next to him.

"Why are you here?"

"Yes, because I live here."

"I mean, why don't you sleep?"

"I woke up thirsty and I saw the drink run out so I went to the kitchen to get some water."

"Oh."

Talisha snatched cotton and alcohol from her husband's hands. Then, help him treat it. "No need to hesitate to ask for help. It won't make your pride fall!"

Ezaz watched his wife's face, which focused on cleaning and applying the wound ointment.

"Don't look at me like that, you'll fall in love with me" Talisha said.

Ezaz threw away his face.

"You're like a child, getting battered home. Has anyone made you this way?"

"Never mind my business, Talisha!" Emphasized words.

"Yes, sorry." Talisha finished treating her husband.

"Thank you" he said.

"Yes, you're welcome." Talisha stood up and poured water into her glass and walked back to her room.

Talisha and Ezaz came out of the room at the same time, she threw her smile at her husband despite not getting a reply.

Not wanting to make trouble, she followed her husband's steps into the dining room.

"Where are you going in such neat clothes?"

"I want to go to your office" Lisha replied casually.

"For what?"

"Take me as your student."

"Do you seriously want to learn to do business?"

"Yes," Talisha bit the strawberry jam sandwich and chewed it.

Ezaz sipped his tea.

"You don't like me studying in your office?"

"Like not, I have promised you" replied Ezaz.

"Yes, you have to keep your promise!"

"I'm not the kind of guy who likes to break promises" he said proudly.

"Good, it's the one that makes you so attractive in my eyes" Talisha said.

"But you're not very attractive in my eyes" replied Ezaz.

"really? How long are you going to hold on to that word of yours?"

"I told you, I'm the man who holds the words."

All employees bowed respectfully when they passed the husband and wife, Talisha returned the greeting by throwing a smile.

Employees like the figure of the wife of his superior. Besides being beautiful and very friendly. They hope Talisha can make Ezaz smile and happy. Because all this time, the man was very cold and could not provide a second chance for employees who violated company regulations.

Ezaz sat in his chair.

Talisha circulated her gaze, "Where am I going to sit?"

"Sit here!" Ezaz pointed at the chair in front of him.

Talisha followed the direction of her husband's hand, pulled the chair and placed her tote bag on the table.

Ezaz began teaching his wife how to do business even though he was very lazy to linger with the woman and he also did not have time to teach her at home. Because he always comes home late at night. But for his ambition he did it all.

Talisha listened to the explanation from her husband carefully and focused. Only a few times he asked.

For almost 2 hours, Ezaz taught his wife how to do business. He looked at the watch in his hand and told Talisha to go home.

"I want to have lunch with you" she asked.

"I can't" Ezaz refused.

"Why?"

"There's a client who wants to meet me and this is very private" Ezaz replied.

"Oh, yeah."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Yes, then I go home" Talisha forced a smile even though she was very disappointed. She grabbed the bag, grabbed her husband's hand and kissed him. He left the EA Group company building.

Ezaz is getting ready for lunch with his assistant and some clients.

Both went to the destination restaurant.

"Why didn't you invite Miss Talisha?"

"I don't want to get close to him" he replied.

"Isn't the master of the house with him?"

"Yes, that's exactly what I don't want to see him every day."

"Why did you marry her?"

"Why do you want to know my business now?"

"Sorry, Sir. I just feel sorry for Miss Talisha," he replied.

"You don't have to love her, she'll be fine with me."

"Hopefully Miss Talisha is always happy" Dika said.

"You're interested in him?" Seems not to like.

"No, Mister. How could I dare to like something that already belongs to you," he explained.

"Yes, you need to be aware."

"Miss Talisha is a good woman, I had twice seen him donate blood at one of the hospitals where Lord Galvin was treated," Dika explained.

Ezaz looked at his assistant's face.

"He came alone in the hospital!"

"really? Who's the blood he donated to?"

"I don't know, Sir."

"Do you remember the day and date he donated blood?"

"First, when the Big Mistress was treated for anemia and second when Mr. Galvin was in an accident" said Dika.

"Why was he in that hospital when two of my loved ones were treated? Do you know why?"

"I didn't get to ask, sir. Because at that time we did not know each other and I only knew that Miss Talisha was an artist" replied Dika.

"Yes, you're right."

Soon the two arrived at the restaurant. Two men were waiting for his arrival. The four of them shook hands, chatting while ordering food.

When he stopped for a while to pick up his phone shortly afterwards he approached his boss with a look of anxiety and worry. He then approached and said slowly, "Master, Miss Lisha was in an accident."

Instantly the spoon in his hand fell off. Ezaz stood up, "Sorry everyone, I have to go to the hospital right now!" he walked first.

"Who's sick, sir?" ask one of them.

"Lord Ezaz's wife was in an accident, sir. Then excuse me," said Dika he then ran a small following his boss.
