Chapter 13 - Becoming a Director

Talisha was at the dinner table first, when she saw her husband appear she rushed to finish breakfast the morning.

Approaching, grabbed her husband's hand and kissed him. He went to work without saying anything.

Ezaz looked at the back of his wife who was walking out.

Talisha went to the office with the driver, because there was no way her husband would take her.

Once there, he walked into his papa's room to ask where his study was.

Because all employees know that Talisha is the son of the owner of the company, they also bow their respects.

"Job as usual, let's just say I'm an employee like you," Talisha said during the introduction.

"Good, Miss." Answer the 4 people who are in the room simultaneously.

Talisha smiled happily then she turned her head to look at the man beside her. "Papa, now you can leave me."

"Yes, Lisha." The middle-aged man also left his daughter.

Talisha started doing her job, she was not ashamed to ask her employees. Whatever it is that has to be done.

After work Talisha and Dena meet at a cafe. Yes, he accepted the offer to play the drama even as a guest star. Not only the two of them there are 3 representatives of the production of the drama to meet him to explain the character he played.

Talisha did not mind the role she had to play as long as she did not do intimate scenes.

At 10 p.m., he went home.

"Why did you just get home at this hour?" Ezaz's voice stopped his steps.

"I just met with Dena and some of the film crew" he replied.

"What are you guys talking about until you hit this?" Ezaz Protests.

"Yes, about the drama I'm going to play."

"Oh, you're out of the office at five in the afternoon. Arrive at the cafe at six. It turns out that the length of your conversation so it takes four hours," said Ezaz.

"They came at seven o'clock, nine o'clock in the evening we went home to each other. On the road I and the driver were stuck in traffic because there was a road closure and I should have arrived here half an hour ago. Didn't you ask your men that?"

Ezaz clenched his hand. "I'll destroy it through you!"

Talisha dumped her bag violently. "He didn't want to take care of my business but he still cared and asked. Is he really starting to like me?" Self-confident.

As usual, Talisha had breakfast earlier this morning than her husband. He will leave after Ezaz comes out of the room.

Talisha left for the office with the driver.

Just a few steps, there was a whisper of employees who said that 50% of shares would be sold.

Talisha, who has been working for a day, comes to her papa's office.

"What's up, Lisha?"

"What are the shares of the company going to be sold?"

"Yes." Yeah."

"Why?"

"There is no choice but to save the employee" the man replied.

"Why is the more this company falls?"

"Papa has tried to maintain the integrity of the company somehow there is a problem," he said.

"Papa is actually intent or not to lead this company or do not want to destroy it!" Talisha.

"Lisha, there's no way Papa wants to destroy this company!" Denying all accusations.

"I wonder who managed to buy our company shares" Talisha said.

"You'll know at the shareholders meeting."

"All right, Pa."

"Later in the afternoon we will hold a meeting" he said.

Talisha nodded in agreement, then returned to her room.

The largest shareholder wants Talisha to be the chief director to replace his papa position.

Talisha looked surprised as well as her papa.

"This can't be Mr. Jim, my daughter doesn't understand running the company. He just worked here yesterday" papa protested.

"But I want him to be the leader of the company" Jim said.

"If you don't allow Talisha to become a director, we will withdraw the shares" another meeting participant warned.

The middle-aged man also resigned.

The meeting was over, the meeting participants congratulated Talisha.

Now in the room there are only two of them.

"Pa, I didn't know it would be like this" Talisha said feeling guilty.

"That's enough, Lisha. Run this company well," the man left his daughter. A disappointed look on his face.

After work Lidya saw her husband's face looked grim, he then approached and asked what happened.

"Lisha is now the main director, shifting my position" he said.

"How can you?"

"The new shareholder asked for Lisha."

"This is what I'm afraid of if the girl leads the company" Lidya said.

"I think after marrying the rich man, he didn't think about running the company" she said.

"Did her husband influence her and teach her business?" Lidya.

"It could be, we never know the origin of Lisha's husband. Even with Ezaz's parents we've never met."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Aren't you wondering who Lisha's husband really is?"

"I'm actually curious, but how can we glean information about him? Didn't you say it's hard to find her?" Lidya asked.

"Yes, it's very difficult. Lisha never told us either" she replied.

"How about we take them to dinner together?" lidya.

"That's fine, we invite Lisha's father-in-law."

Elsewhere at the same time. Talisha threw her smile at her husband when the man arrived home. With a happy heart, he embraced Ezaz's body.

"What are you doing?" his protest as his wife hugged him.

"Today I'm so happy," Talisha let go of her embrace.

Ezaz pretended to be confused.

"I'm up in office" he said happily.

"You have only worked two days, very quickly rose to office" said Ezaz.

"The stockholders asked me to be the chief director in place of papa" he explained. "When I told them, I didn't really understand the business. But they kept pushing and eventually papa gave up" he continued.

"You are very lucky" said Ezaz.

"I'm weird with them, why choose me" Talisha said.

"Why didn't you ask?"

"I forgot to ask him because I was still shocked by this position" Lisha replied.

"I was curious to see the old man's face!" mumbling smiled.

"What are you talking about?"

"Your father is not angry with your current position?"

"I think he's angry" she guessed.

"You don't want to cheer him up?"

"For what?"

"Let's not be discouraged."

"It is not necessary, is not papa who has sold shares of my company to others" Talisha said.

"Yes, this is also his fault" said Ezaz.
