27. There's No point in Asking

Uci's forehead frowned as the sunlight hit his forehead. The sunlight that entered from the window gap covered by the brown curtain cloth was moving slowly when the morning wind blew. It seemed that the servants had cleaned the room so that the window of the room connected to the balcony was left open.

His disturbed sleep made him rise from the bed. He rubbed both of his eyelids while yawning widely. He scratched his non-itchy head that made his long hair fall apart.

He looked up at the room that was so salty to him. The childish girl had even forgotten that yesterday she had officially married.

Uci stepped down from the bed, his bare feet touching the cold floor of the AC air.

"This house is huge. Uci don't like."

Uci stopped his steps. He moves his lips to the left and right which are left to snout. He jumped like children think this long stair step is a game.

Uci smiled looking at the figure of a gray-haired old man who was doing healthy gymnastics in the living room while accompanied by the sound of dangdut music.

Uci ran down the steps, approached Sumbawa and followed the old man's movements.

Sumbawa stared confused for a moment looking at Uci and not long after he laughed. Stopping the movement of gymnastics and music made Uci smile showing his white teeth neatly arranged.

"What are you doing, son?"

"Uci did what sir did."

"Ah, don't call sir but Opah!"

"The porch?"

"Well, Opah prefers to be called with such a word. Now, you're Opah's granddaughter, too."

Uci nodded. The smile of the girl made Sumbawa rub the girl he betrothed to his granddaughter.

"Oh, yes Opah wants to ask."

Sumbawa turned left and right trying to make sure that no waiter would hear their conversation. He looked at the girl seriously.

"What did you do with Praja last night?"

Sumbawa smiles. Both of his eyes looked at him so seriously and expectantly. The girl before him was a girl who was still unstable so he could get the correct answer from this girl

"King?"

"Well, the man who accompanied you that whole night" he whispered, recalls last night.

Uci was silent for a moment.

"Oh, that handsome guy!"

"Handsome guy?"

Uci nodded his spirit making his thin bangs move. Sumbawa said, well, it looks like her grandson gave a good lesson last night.

"Well, she. Em, Opah wants to ask but Opah wants you to answer honestly.

"They never lie."

Sumbawa smiled happily.

"Then what did you do last night before you went to bed?"

"Opah, Uci did not want to answer before Opah gave Uci ice cream."

"Ice cream? You want to eat ice cream?"

Uci nodded quickly making Sumbawa pause for a moment with a confused face.

"You want to eat ice cream this early?"

Without hesitation the girl nodded back making Sumbawa stare in disbelief until a few seconds later she just remembered if she was dealing with a girl who was still a child.

... 🍃🍃🍃...

Sumbawa waved the black hat that had protected his head from the morning sun. He smiled a little at Uci who looked cool with ice cream in both hands.

Uci licked the ice cream It alternately made Sumbawa occasionally laugh to see rare moments. When Praja was a child she never even saw Praja eating ice cream at once two while squatting near her cart.

"Sci! Sit here!"

Sumbawa called to make Uci get up and sit on the garden chair in front of the house.

"Well, now that Uci has eaten ice cream, eat two more. So how would Uci like, would you answer a question from Opah?"

Uci did not answer. He just nodded making Sumbawa smile happily. Sumbawa drew closer to her sitting distance. This time he had to ask and hear the answer seriously. For him free if he asks with Praja, for him to ask with Praja like a useless thing. The man will never answer.

"Sci!"

"Yes?"

"Sleep," he answered so innocently that Sumbawa's smile vanished from his lips but, not even for a few seconds he smiled again hoping to get an answer.

"Before you go to sleep, what are you and Praja doing?"

Uci stopped her licking on the surface of vanilla flavored ice cream. He moved both of his eyes to think.

"The handsome man kicked at the door, furiously and-"

"Aah!" Sumbawa massaged his dizzy temple.

"Is there no other activity?"

"What activities?"

Sumbawa. God how he talked to this girl so she could understand.

"Sci!"

"Yes?"

"What are you and Praja doing in bed?"

The girl who was fairly cute thought for a moment to make Sumbawa's breath immediately restrained waiting for the answer that had filled her curiosity.

"At that time Uci hugged a handsome man."

Both eyes of Sumbawa are rounded. His neatly arranged white teeth were visible. Well, one more step he'll find the answer.

"You hugging?"

"Not."

"Then?"

"The one who hugged the handsome man."

"Then what happened?"

"Not knowing."

"Don't know?" sumbawa asked confused while without waiting for a long time Uci nodded.

"Why don't you know, son?"

"Because Uci doesn't know, if Uci knows, Uci will tell."

Sumbawa nodded. It's true what this girl said. Then who's plain here.

"Sci! Tell you what, last night did you both sleep in that room?"

"Sleep both?"

"Well, you and that handsome guy slept together."

"Yes," he answered while nodding vigorously.

Sumbawa laughed, "Areally?"

"Yes, Uci slept together with that handsome man."

"What are you doing in bed?"

Uci stared confusedly. He licked the ice cream liquid that was under his lips with a face so plain. The hellokitty nightgown still attached to his body made him look more and more like a child.

"We didn't do anything. Uci sleeps on a mattress while the handsome man sleeps in a long chair" he explained, leaving Sumbawa's lips open.

His eyes were closed several times as if he could not believe what Uci was saying.

"Pa-njag's seat?"

Uci did not answer. He is still focusing on the ice cream in both hands. A minute later he rubbed his face tightly. So this girl means sofa.

"So you two didn't sleep together on the bed?"

"No."

Stupid, Sumbawa could only sigh long enough. It seemed that he had misunderstood and thought that his grandson had gone through a beautiful day last night.
