MY ONE HOPE FOR YOU

MY ONE HOPE FOR YOU
Chapter 022's

Just now that I came to the field where I was trading, there was already a commotion going on inside the market.

I turned towards Bu Suryo, my gaze implying a question about the commotion.

“Why, nduk?” ask Mrs Suryo.

“There's a fuss what's bu inside?”

Bu Suryo let out a long sigh and shook his head simultaneously.

Perhaps Bu Suryo also still did not know the root of the problem of the commotion, so did not dare to answer my question.

For him, rather than giving an answer that still hangs, it is better to be silent first.

The screams between the two people were really loud, yet it was not very clear what the sentence they were saying was.

However, I could confirm that it was a shout that came from two people.

One male scream and one scream. I who was arranging my merchandise, could not escape the thought of the commotion.

I suspect, there must be a misunderstanding between the two people if the one who shouted at each other was a trader and a buyer.

But if it turns out that the commotion was caused by a fellow merchant, I don't know anymore.

Too many factors and possibilities can cause friction between two traders.

Not to mention, if later the two people both have a stronghold or like their own organization, then the problem will be more complicated and not easily solved.

Finished my trading was neatly arranged and ready to serve customers, again and again the sound of screaming was still heard despite a pause between the two parents.

I called and asked for protection from Allah.

“Astaghfirullahal’adzim. O Allah grant salvation to the two who are fighting and give salvation to all of us who hear it.”

“Aamiin.” said Bu Suryo.

It turned out that my voice had just been heard by Bu Suryo. I also thanked him for taking part in the assurance.

“Nduk, you are a good person.” said Bu Suryo.

That word made me smile. Because Bu Suryo has been trading here for longer than me, he even traded when I was shopping in this market with my grandmother.

Bu Suryo is someone who is sincere and does not expect too much from someone.

What I admire about him is his great patience and his very gentle words.

"Mom, Jaka yesterday won 1 design competition."

"O Allah, thank God." he said.

Our conversation just flowed, I told Jaka my pride. Bu Suryo also told about his son.

Bu Suryo's son was named Agung Probohusodo. A very strong name with Javanese language.

If interpreted the word, Agung has a great meaning. Probo means light, and husodo means to bring money.

Bu Suryo himself once told me if his hope with a child who has a name like that is, his son will be able to shine a light on the place around him with good things and also simultaneously bring abundant sustenance.

I realized then that a name does not just mean a prayer. But there are expectations from parents for their beloved child.

Even when Bu Suryo was pregnant with Agung, Bu Suryo filled a lot of his free time to read books about the motivation given by big people.

Currently, Bu Suryo's son is studying S2 in Jakarta with a scholarship obtained. Bu Suryo said that when the Great fought desperately to get the scholarship he wanted.

There are many prayers, and also often cry to apologize to Bu Suryo and her husband when exchanging news over the phone.

For a moment when listening to Bu Suryo tell a story, I daydreamed and thought if soon I reached the ideal age to get married.

However, even today I am still often confused to meet the needs of my personal life and my sister.

Some of my male friends have also met Dad to ask permission to be closer to me, but Dad has always given me the freedom to answer.

And back then, I really still hadn't thought of this kind of thing before.

In the midst of my momentary daydream, I did not expect that Bu Suryo would notice me from earlier.

“Nduk, what's hayoo thinking?” ask Bu Suryo while laughing.

My daydream was caved when I heard Bu Suryo's cletukan.

“Oh, it's okay Bu.” reply.

So Bu Suryo continued the story a little more, and also gave me an advice.

He said, if there is no urge to get married then I should not be too rushed.

The most important thing in his speech is to keep looking after yourself as you should. Doing the best that can be done for now.

Regarding the soul mate and the man who will accompany, Ms. Suryo said all there will be a right time to meet.
