My Cold Boss

Ruby scratched her head when she saw the cold and fierce boss handing out the boxes of cookies to his employees with a smile.

"Oh my God, seeing it like this feels so weird. If I'm honest, I'd rather have him before. Is it possible because I'm used to that cold and fierce attitude?" Ruby muttered as she continued to look at Aresh who continued to do his work without help. If anyone wanted to help him, he rejected it resolutely. He said he could do this little job on his own.

"This is for you." Aresh gives Ruby the last box of cookies with a smile.

Ruby who saw Aresh's smiling face from close range as if bewitched. 'Oh my God, it turns out he's very handsome when he smiles.'

"Secretary Ruby, this is for you." Aresh again said because his secretary was just dumbfounded while looking at him fixedly.

"Eh?" Ruby immediately shook her head while rubbing her eyes. Perhaps he was fascinated to see the good looks of his superiors. Shouldn't he be falling for Aresh given the policies that prevail in the company.

"Take it, this is for you." Aresh said with a smile.

"Ah, i-yes. Thank you very much, sir." Ruby then took the box of cookies to the pantry room. As usual, he had to provide a cup of coffee for Aresh, because otherwise Aresh would have waited for 5 minutes for the man to scold Ruby all out.

When Ruby had finished making coffee for Aresh and was about to get out of the pantry room, the girl was surprised by Aresh's sudden appearance.

"P-Sir, wh-why are you here?" ruby asked somewhat nervously, while staring at the circular clockwork on her wrist. If he doesn't miscalculate, it hasn't been 5 minutes for Aresh to wait for his coffee.

Aresh smiled again. It seemed like that smile would always be reviewed every time she and Ruby met each other.

"I want to take my coffee, thank you so much for making it for me." Aresh immediately exited the pantry room while bringing his own coffee into his room. That certainly makes employees who see it wonder. What happened to their boss this morning.

"Oh my God, is he really my boss, Mr Aresh Adiyaksa? Or maybe he's exchanging souls with someone." Too much reading novels and watching dramas in her spare time makes Ruby think things don't make sense.

This afternoon after meeting with a client, Aresh brought Ruby to lunch at a restaurant.

"Why did you bring me here, sir?" ask Ruby astonishment. Because after all this viral restaurant is a very romantic restaurant and is only suitable to be visited by lovers and married couples.

'The closest restaurant to the meeting place? Meanin? Doesn't the hotel have a restaurant on the other floor? And also, we did not even pass 5 restaurants if I did not miscalculate.' Inner Ruby was confused to see the absurd behavior of her boss.

"Let's go in" Aresh asked, but Ruby instead stood there. The girl felt reluctant to enter the restaurant because she was embarrassed to see other visitors who came with their respective partners. Not only that, other visitors also seem very friendly while embracing each other. It's not so strange that he and Aresh would walk inside the restaurant, but instead walk while keeping their distance.

"Why shut up? Comein. I'm so hungry, Secretary Ruby," said Aresh, but Ruby still stood there.

"Sir, it seems like this place is not suitable for us, we just look for another restaurant" Ruby suggested.

"Why not fit? Not all restaurants are the same, same places to eat."

"Yes, sir, I know. But, this one restaurant is different," Ruby looked back at the visitors who came and went with their respective partners, "we're not a couple, so it's not fit into this place." Ruby bowed in embarrassment after saying it.

"What do you mean we both have to be like this before we go in?" Aresh suddenly grasped Ruby's hand tightly making the girl open her eyes wide.

"P-Sir, what are you selling-"

"Let's go in. Now everyone who sees us must have thought we were a couple."

"Sir, but-" Just now Ruby wants to return to protest, but Aresh has been hunted to pull her into the restaurant.

When they had just passed the entrance of the restaurant, a waitress immediately welcomed their arrival.

"Welcome, Mister, Miss. Come on, come with me." The pilgrimage then goes ahead of Aresh and Ruby followed by both.

"Please come in, sir, Miss." The waiter took the two to the VIP table of the restaurant, whose position was in the open with a very romantic decor.
