Aresh came out of the elevator feeling very upset. He himself wondered to himself, why he always felt dislike whenever Ruby was close to another man, even though he felt hate for the girl. First Bagas, now Ricko. If he has made Bagas go far by giving him the task of going out of town, as with Ricko, he does not yet know what exactly Ruby's relationship with the man is.

'What's really wrong with me? Have I gone crazy? There's no way I like him. I had promised myself that I would never let any traitorous creature come back into my life, much less disturb my heart.' Aresh muttered inwardly trying to control himself, as there seemed to be something strange with his heart since Ruby was present in his daily life.

After meeting with a client, Aresh and Ruby are on their way to a meeting place with another client. Just like before, Ruby again took advantage of their travel time to fall asleep.

Before closing her eyes, Ruby made sure that her head was leaning against the glass wall of the car door beside her, this was to prevent her from falling back asleep on Aresh's shoulder. It did not take long for Ruby to fall asleep because the girl did feel very tired due to lack of sleep and lack of rest.

After confirming that Ruby was asleep, Aresh slowly shifted his tat pan to get closer towards Ruby. Just as he did earlier this morning, Aresh pulled Ruby's head slowly to make her lean on his shoulder. Aresh gave a smile when he managed to do so without the need to keep Ruby awake from sleeping.

A few tens of minutes later. Ruby wakes up when the car stops at the gas station. The girl was quite surprised and astonished when she repeated the same mistake, which was sleeping while leaning on Aresh's shoulder, when she had made sure that she would not do so. It is not known to him that Aresh himself did it on purpose.

"Ma-sorry, Sir. I was not intentional."

Aresh smiling. "It looks like my shoulder has become your most comfortable resting place when you fall asleep. Sleep well."

Ruby lowered. Shame on Aresh always saying that to him. 'I'd better move in and just sit in front."

"Where are you going, Secretary Ruby?" Aresh asked as he saw Ruby open the car door.

"I want to move forward, sir," replied Ruby.

"Wait-wait"

BAM!

Just now Aresh wanted to prevent it but the girl had already closed the car door. Aresh could only snort violently when he saw Ruby already sitting in the front seat right next to the driver.

'Gosh. What's the matter with me, actually? Why am I being like this? It seems I've really gone crazy.' Inner Aresh.

"Secretary Ruby, call Green Heels, say our apologies because their investment proposal cannot be approved" Aresh said.

"But what is the reason, sir? I think the content of their proposal is quite good," said Ruby. Even though he actually hates Ricko so much because of the actions of the man in the past, but still personal affairs should not be confused with work affairs.

"Why? You don't want your ex-boyfriend's company to go bankrupt?" Aresh stared at Ruby sharply. Apparently he had secretly told someone to figure out Ruby and Ricko's relationship.

Ruby is quite surprised to hear that Aresh knows that Ricko is her ex-lover. "It's not like that, sir. Whatever my relationship with the Green Heels leadership in the past, it has nothing to do with work. I said that their proposal is good because their proposal is really good, and it is worth our approval. I'm a professional at work, sir. I don't mix work with my personal problems."

Aresh feels entangled with Ruby's words. Is not he himself as the leader of the company actually did the opposite.

"I will approve your proposal but on one condition" said Aresh.

"What are those terms, Mr Aresh?" ask Ricko.

"Stop interrupting and get close to Ruby."
