Ruby was overwhelmed when the boxes filled with the cake she lifted stacked up almost as high as her nose. The girl walked very carefully because seeing the road was difficult. If not to go extra careful, the boxes may fall and the contents may be destroyed, Aresh really makes Ruby's life at work difficult because of his actions.

Ruby walked to the elevator. As long as the girl walked around carrying the boxes of cookies, she kept cursing Aresh for his annoying, callous, and careless attitude towards her.

'Hopefully someday when he's married, he's enslaved by his wife, huh.' Ruby cursed Aresh in her heart when she felt exhausted but the man had absolutely no intention to help her, whereas Aresh's hand had been idle and carried nothing.

"Hurry and share the cookies in 5 minutes, I will be waiting for you in my room. Remember, don't be late" Aresh said before breezing into his room.

Ruby closed her eyes tightly. Her chest returned to fireworks due to emotions. It felt like Ruby was beating, cursing, and teaching the man a lesson, but unfortunately he was helpless because he realized his current position was only subordinate to the cold and annoying man.

Fortunately, when not under Aresh's supervision, Ruby can ask for help from other employees to help her distribute the cakes, so she can rest for a while before the 5 minutes Aresh specified runs out.

When the girl began to enter the room of the superior, she immediately saw many dossier maps piled on the table Aresh.

"What's this file, sir?" ask Ruby curiously.

"This is all a task for you. Finish it before Monday" replied Aresh, sitting back in his chair.

"But, sir, how could I possibly finish this all in 3 days, I'm 'right-"

"Nothing but-but, anyway I don't want to accept excuses. If you can't get everything done overtime at the office, you can take it home and do it at home on weekends" Aresh said. "Rather than you're crawling on the weekends, you'd better do your job right."

"Who's also in the dark" murmured Ruby.

"What's? What did you say just now? You're talking to me, aren't you?" ask Aresh with a ketus.

"No, sir, no. I'm not telling you" replied Ruby. "All right, sir, I'll bring all these files to my desk."

When Ruby was out of the room, Aresh again smiled slanted. "Feel that. From now on every weekend, you won't be able to have any more fun."

The hours of work finally arrived. Ruby brought some file maps to take home, rather than overtime at the office, she'd better work at home. While getting into the taxi, Ruby suddenly gets a call from Bagas.

"Have you come home?" ask Bagas.

"Yes, it's on its way home" replied Ruby. "Where are you now?"

"I just got to my apartment, now I'm packing."

"Packaged? Where are you going?"

"I have to leave for out of town, the boss assigned me to handle some important projects there."

"Oh. How long?" ask Ruby.

"Maybe about 1 week. Or maybe even more," replied Bagas.

Bagas boasted his laughter hearing the girl's lackluster voice when he found out that she was going to be gone long enough. "Are you going to miss me?"

Silent moment. Ruby was embarrassed to answer Bagas's question.

"I mean miss your best partner in the office" Bagas explained.

"Mm. .. I don't know," replied Ruby timidly.

Bagas finally laughed. "I'll call you later, now I'm in a hurry. I have to get to the airport in 30 minutes. Take care of yourself as long as I'm gone."

"Hm, you too. Be careful down the road" Ruby's message before their phone call ends.

At nightfall, after dinner with her mother and sister, Ruby then went back into her room to continue the work she brought from the office. About an hour or so after he returned to his room, his house bell suddenly rang.

"Who's coming up these nights?" ruby murmured without moving a bit from her seat. "Robby! Open the door, Dek!" ruby shouted at the sister who was playing the play station in the front room of her room.

"Good, Brother!" reply Robby.

It did not feel almost 2 hours Ruby sitting working in front of her laptop, and the girl also began to feel sore and sleepy because since 2 days ago she lacked rest and just focused on completing all her work.

Suddenly, Ruby's door opened from the outside.

"Sister," call Robby.
