Arriving at the office, James did not immediately do the work that had been seen piling up on the desk. James always took the time to just look at the miniature hospital he was building for Soraya. If even later in the end they do not live together but the hospital will still stand as a form of love for Soraya.
" I'll keep waiting for you to come back." James's mind stared fixedly at the mini building.
Starting busy with endless work activities makes James indeed have to have friends to go watch, eat, hang out or just chat. And now his friend is a woman named Paula.
Back at the office James had already made an appointment with Paula for dinner at a restaurant not far from Paula's house and James' workplace.
" Hello James, sorry I'm late. You've been since?." Said Paula pulling the chair and directly occupying it.
" Hi Paula. I also did not just arrive. This just wants a message." Point James to the menu list that has been flipped.
They also ordered food according to their preferences. Waiting for the order to arrive, James and Paula were seen having small talk they had just been working on today. Sometimes sometimes they laugh freely without burden and when they see them as close and fun as this when they are chatting they look more like lovers. But say no, because neither James nor Paula has given any signals in that direction.
" Have stopped James!. Now we eat first. Later on, funny again." Paula begins to sample the new menu that James has chosen for the two of them.
" It's delicious it turns out James. You're so smart about choosing a new menu." Praise Paula while giving her thumbs up.
" Oh yes "James also tasted it and it turned out to taste really good.
James and Paula did not go home immediately after dinner, they spent to hang out at a cafe that is still around there.
" So Mommy and Daddy made sure of the date again." Quick reply.
James saw a look of sadness on Paula's sweet face that could not be hidden.
" Why are you so unhappy?. Don't you know each other very well?." James finds out which side of Paula he doesn't know. Because all this time they have never been involved in conversation until the inside.
Paula shakes no idea. Don't know what makes him unhappy?. Not knowing with your own heart and feelings?. Not knowing with his decision will accept or reject this matchmaking?. Don't know if he's comfortable talking to James?, sharing a simple story with their friendship status all along.
" Maybe because I'm in the stage of liking another man?." Paula raised her face and stared intensely at James who was staring at her as well.
James chuckled at what Paula said. How could James think that he was the one that Paula was currently fond of?." Although it is undeniable Paula has a nature and personality that is more or less similar to Soraya. But James did not dare go any further. Before in the end he and Soraya could not be together.
" Why are you silent James?." Paula held James' hand gently.
Slowly James' gaze turned on Paula's hand that was above his.
" Maybe it's just an ordinary feeling or just a moment?. Don't be in too much of a hurry to interpret your own feelings. I wanted to ask you to consider your matchmaking. But now I don't need to anymore because I believe what your parents chose must be the best for you, Paula." Those words just came out of James' mouth. As if he objected or disagreed with Paula's matchmaking. Which means it could be interpreted if James had more feelings than just friends toward Paula.
