Chapter 40

Today Rendy spoke directly with Fara. "Fara wait I want to ask you for a minute."

"What's wrong?" ask Fara unsuspecting. Rendy glanced at the Gita. The self-knowing Gita then moves away from the two.

"Why did you lie to me all this time?"

"liying? About what?" ask Fara further.

"You're married but you let me get close to you" protested Rendy. He said in a loud tone so as to make the people around him know the status of Fara. Rendy had humiliated Fara in public.

She promised to acknowledge Cello as her husband but not in this way. Rendy makes others think negatively about Fara because of her young marriage.

Fara pulled the tip of her lips. "Have you been asking me all this time? Why did I tell you first? Since you already know then you better keep your distance from me."

Fara turned around and left Rendy alone.

"Fara," called Rendy shouting. He was so bad he punched the air.

Fara ran to the side of the road. He stopped the taxi passing in front of him. Fara was crying in the taxi. "Based on a guy, nyebelin," he said when remembering the face of Rendy.

"I don't want to see him anymore" he added.

Thirty minutes drive from campus to her apartment, Fara arrives in front of the building. He saw someone he knew was there. "Riska, what's wrong?" ask Fara.

"My mother is sick, please look at her in prison" Riska said.

"I'm sorry, I can't leave without my husband's permission" Fara said. He is only worried that Riska is trying to influence him to release his now-prisoned mother.

"Fara, don't you have the heart to see someone who's sick just won't?" accuse Riska.

"Oh so? You are the same. During my papa's time in the hospital, have you ever visited him? Papa loves you very much, Riska." Fara turned to corner her former half-sister.

"But Fara my mother wants to apologize to you. Don't you want to forgive him?"

"I'll forgive him if he has served his sentence," Fara replied sharply and then she turned to leave Riska.

"Based on a proud girl" he said. Riska can't force Fara because without Fara's help she can't continue her schooling until graduation. But the money hasn't been given since the house hasn't been sold.

Fara called Anwar. "Mas Anwar what about the buyer who's going to buy my house?" ask Fara over the phone.

"It's liquid, the house is valued at five hundred million" Anwar replied.

"Lumayan a lot, please arrange to pay Riska school fees and other school needs. Remember only for the needs of the school. Don't give it to him directly but give it to the school. Understood?" fara's orders to her husband's subordinates.

"Oh yes, Mas Anwar can take as much commission as Mas wants, the rest please put in my account," added Fara.

"Okay, you take it easy."

After that Fara went into his apartment unit. He threw the bag in any direction. He was very unlucky today. Rendy, who was considered a friend, humiliated herself on campus. Then came Riska who begged an apology for her mother.

To quell her anger, Fara chose to soak in soapy water to relax her mind. "I am grateful to have passed the time of OSEK hopefully starting tomorrow I can follow my lecture smoothly," muttered Fara while enjoying the aroma of therapy.

Long enough Fara soaked suddenly her stomach felt hungry. She ordered food online because her husband was coming home soon.

While waiting for Fara to take the contraceptive pill she kept in her drawer. While the supplement that was once given by the obstetrician he left without touching it in the slightest.

Soon someone rang the bell. Fara opened the door of her apartment unit. "Package," said someone who sent the food he ordered. After giving money to the courier, Fara closed the door.

However, apparently the courier will have evil intentions on Fara. He blocked the door of Fara's house and barged in. "Give me all your valuables!" he threatened her with a sharp weapon that she held in her hand.

Fara dropped the food. Then he got scared. Fara just stayed in place while the man walked through room after room inside Fara's house. Fara used the opportunity to contact security through her home phone.

But not until he spoke, the man put a knife to his neck. Fara put the phone back. "Take whatever you want!" fara said frustrated.

"Mas, why don't you go home" Fara murmured inwardly. Her tears were shed because she was scared.

Cello just got off the elevator. He saw the door of his apartment unit open. "Don't Fara normally open a door this wide?" muttered Cello.

Sure enough, Cello saw his wife being held captive by criminals who wanted to rob his house. "Fara," call Cello. He was shocked to find the criminal pointing a knife near his wife's neck.

"Put down the knife!" snapped Cello.

The criminal laughed out loud. "No, before I go out he will be my prisoner" he threatened.

"Do you know, this apartment unit is directly connected to the police station CCTV, they could be on their way here" said Cello scaring the criminals who acted alone.

"Sir, he led Fara to walk closer to the door. Then he pushed Fara when he was on the doorstep and the criminal tried to escape.

Cello caught his wife's body. "Please contact the security. I'm going after him" Cello's orders are obeyed by Fara.

When the criminal was about to board the elevator, Cello's feet blocked the elevator door. "Where are you going?" Cello forcibly pulled the online courier's jacket and took it out of the elevator.

They were fighting at the elevator door. Hit each other. But Cello led the fight. He managed to catch the criminal. He turned one of the criminal's hands back. However, ill-fated because the other hand was used to take the weapon in his pocket. He stabbed Cello in the stomach without turning around. After that he ran away.

Cello held onto his bleeding stomach. Fara exited her apartment unit. She saw her husband collapsing in blood. Fara cried out for help.

Fara called Anwar. He asked Anwar to send an ambulance. "Mas Cello survives Mas" he said on the sidelines of his cries.
