"Yoongi." Call Aara.
Yoon-gi, who was looking at the night sky, looked up at the smiling girl.
"Why are you so handsome?"
"Are you praising me? Or teasing me? Who are you impersonating, heuh?" Checar Yoongi because his little girl is already good at seducing.
"I imitate you, you always say I'm beautiful."
Yoongi laughed so sweetly that Aara felt at home looking at Yoongi's face. Anyone would be fascinated by the perfect face that Yoon-gi had, including her. Moreover, his eyes always consumed that handsome face.
"I'll sue you." Chirps Aara.
"Why?"
"Because you broke me, your smile made me crazy."
"You're good at seducing apparently. Is this little girl a grown-up?"
Aara only grimaced, revealing her white rows of teeth. Even Yoon-gi shook his head at the behavior of his little girl.
"Yoongi, Merry me!" Chirps Aara.
"What?"
"Married me."
Yoongi fell silent, trying to digest the sentence that the girl had thrown. It feels very strange considering they are not lovers, but why the girl asked him to marry her.
"How old are you?" Instead of answering the girl, Yoon-gi asked.
"17 years, why?"
"Wait another five years, then I'll marry you." Yoongi.
I don't know what was in the man's mind and heart that he had inadvertently promised the girl and five years to come he had to keep it.
The girl nodded happily, she hugged Yoongi's body spontaneously. Even Yongi himself did not know what made the girl do such a thing.
"What's this?" Yoongi asked as Aara put a rope bracelet on her wrist.
"Remember me, always. I'll keep waiting for you until it's time." Aara.
Yoongi looked at the bracelet Aara gave, the man raised his face and smiled sweetly at the girl.
"I'll propose to you with the bracelet you gave me, I promise."

Not even five years as promised, Yoon gets a message from Aara. During this time they do communicate smoothly like a pair of lovers who are doing long distance relationships.
But that one message surprised her when Aara said that she was in Seoul and invited the man to meet.
Here they are, in a restaurant in a private room that Yoon-gi chose. The man could feel if there was something important to talk about.
"I'm sorry.." Aara.
He had promised a marriage to a girl, but when that promise was broken before it hurt. Though the promise was not a promise based on feelings, because at that time Yoon-gi spontaneously said that.
But once again, Yoon-gi feels like his heart is broken, but the man continues to convince himself that there is nothing wrong with it.
Shouldn't he be the one who feels guilty for a promise that even he himself doesn't want? It would even feel very guilty if the girl really waited for him for that long while she had no feelings.
The man tried to smile, telling himself everything was fine.
"Why are you crying?" Ask Yoongi.
"Next week I'm getting married, I'm sorry. I didn't fulfill your request to keep my ring finger empty. Please forgive me.." Isaac Aara.
Yoon-gi smiled, cupped both sides of the girl's face and brought her up to look her in the eyes. Clearly he could see the streak of regret in the girl's eyes.
Actually, Yoon-gi was surprised to find out that Aara invited her to meet in Seoul, it was unbelievable that the girl was following her to the city. And Yoongi was more surprised when he met her instead the girl cried sobbing.
"Don't cry, you look ugly." Yoongi.
Aara did not laugh with Yoon-gi's joke, but the girl was crying because she felt so guilty. How could he leave a man as perfect as Yoon-gi, but he could do nothing.
Her parents betrothed her and somehow Aara accepted. The mother was eager to see herself side by side with the woman's choice, and no one could change that decision including herself.
"I'll take the time to come to your wedding." Yoongi.
Aara shook her head, "If you come, I'm afraid of disappointing my future husband. Maybe I won't get married if I see you."
Yoongi sighed while expelling the tightness in his chest, yes, his chest feels very tight now. Either because he saw his little girl crying or because he knew that the girl he had promised by marriage had left him.
•_FLASHBACK OFF•
•••
Yoongi raised his hand, looking at the circular thing on his wrist. Even the bracelet was still neatly attached there, never once he let go.
Now, seven years after he made that promise. He was still constantly confused by his feelings, could it be that he did love the little girl?
But, why he never felt the usual pounding people feel when in love. It even feels normal to be close to the girl. Although it does feel comfortable but Yoongi can not interpret it.
Is this just a pity? For more than ten years they were together. Yoon-gi himself considers Aara as his sister, his friend, his best friend.
And when the girl asked to marry him, she felt nothing at all. Nervous? Thumped? Pleased? There aren't. But why does it feel so claustrophobic when you hear the girl getting married to someone else?
"Why can't I forget you? Please don't torture me, Aara." Yoongi.
The man always misses his little girl, the girl who always accompanies his days, the girl who is always there when himself, the girl who always spoiled with him.
He misses, very much.
But what should he do? When the message he sent was never answered, the call was never answered. Yoon-gi once thought that he had a mistake so that the girl would not wait for him and chose to marry someone else?
And it was that mistake that made the girl never want to communicate with him again. But Yoongi never felt he made any mistake.
"I think I'd go crazy if I kept this up." Yoongi.
The man decided to enter the house and end his gala session. Returning to the initial suit as a cool, cranky guy, also sucks of course.
There were many things he had to do tomorrow and he did not want to get too late in his grief. Enough for today, there is still another day to remember the past.
Or neither.
