Conscious

It had been a month for Andre to lie weakly in a hospital bed. It should also be the day the two big families were waiting for. The marriage that was predicted to be carried out, in fact it must be postponed because of the condition of Andre who has not been conscious to this day. There has been no significant change in Andre's condition making everything seem worried and fearful.

All three of Andre's children are now living in Nadia's rented house because Mama Anisa is busy waiting for Andre in the hospital and Papa Reza who has to replace his son as the leader of the company. Anara and Abel remain in school as usual with Nadia and Arnold waiting at the guardians' waiting area.

Initially Nadia wanted Mama Anisa to go home to rest at home, but she kekeh did not want to leave her son. As a result, every three little boys had fallen asleep at night, Nadia always went to the hospital so that Mama Anisa could rest. Luckily the three children Andre not too fussy, only lately they seem a little sad because his papa never wake up. Every time he visited the hospital, the three just looked down.

"Mother, papa don't wake up because we're naughty huh?" asked Anara at the time.

"No, you're good kids and you're never bad. Maybe papa is there again a beautiful dream so do not wake up" said Nadia by holding back her tears.

"What else dreams of playing with other children huh, Mother? So long wake up" Anara accused.

"Alau papa ain cama nak lain, anti actu awun langcung Anol langin" annoyed Arnold.

"Yes, we will be angry because we are not awake" replied Nadia with a slow chuckle.

The three little boys nodded their heads with funny faces. The originally moving scenery was turned into a typical cute guyonan children.

"Yes Allah... Called Andre. I couldn't bear to see these three innocent children waiting too long" Nadia's mind with a smile looked at Anara, Arnold, and Abel who were playing monopoly.

Nadia walks in the hospital hallway at night. The atmosphere was so quiet and quiet in the lobby area of the building, he continued to walk while occasionally looking at the garden that looked sparkling with the flickering of fireflies. Shortly after walking, Nadia arrived near the ICU room. He scrunched his forehead in wonder when the atmosphere there looked very crowded, even Mama Anisa was being hugged by Papa Reza in the waiting seat.

His feeling was not calm, immediately in his heart was afraid something happened with the suaminaya candidate. He immediately accelerated the scale closer towards Mama Anisa and Papa Andre.

"What's this auntie, om?" nadia asked in panic.

Mama Anisa immediately let go of her embrace from Papa Reza when she heard Nadia's voice. It was seen that Mama Anisa after crying with eyes so swollen even in her eyes radiated a great fear.

"Andre convulsing, Nad. Even his heartbeat had stopped, this was only handled by a doctor" said Nadia with tears.

Nadia's heartbeat felt like stopping even now her brain was instantly empty. Fear began to spread in his body. Both of his legs felt weak, even now began to drift so that Papa Reza immediately held him. Assisted with Papa Reza, Nadia sat next to Mama Anisa.

"We pray for Andre's safety. Whatever happens later, it is best according to God's will" said Papa Reza trying hard.

"Please hold on, Ndre. If not for me, at least it's for your three children" Nadia's inner self bowed her head.

Chequek...

After nearly two hours of waiting, doctors and nurses walked out of the ICU. It was as if sweat was pouring from the doctor's forehead, as if they were working so hard tonight to save someone's life. Mama Anisa, Nadia, and Papa Reza immediately stood up from her seat and approached the doctor.

"What about my son, doc? She's okay, right?" mama Anisa asked with a panicked look.

"Mother calm down. The patient is in good condition, even very good. He is now stable and out of his critical period. Thanks to the miracle of God, the patient is now conscious. But I give anti-pain and sedative drugs so that patients can rest until tomorrow morning" explained the doctor.

"Conscious?" nadia asked with a look of disbelief.

The doctor just nodded his head and smiled sweetly in response. Nadia, Mama Anisa, and Papa Reza immediately hugged when making sure that Andre had realized it was not a joke. All three cried and gave thanks in their hearts.

"I'll excuse you then. Tonight too, the patient will be transferred to the inpatient room" said the doctor.

The three immediately let go of his embrace then nodded their heads in response to the doctor's farewell. Andre's bed vault was pushed out of the ICU room, Mama Anisa and Nadia immediately followed him from behind. While Papa Reza will take care of the items in the waiting room first.

Mama Anisa and Papa Andre decide to go home tonight and Nadia will take care of Andre. It seems like everyone is going to sleep well tonight for having gone through this excessive fear for a month or so. Nadia sat beside Andre's bed gurney and clasped her hands tightly.

"Thank you for sticking around for all of us. You know, today we should get married and build a household together but because you are still sleeping so put back. But no papa, the important thing today is that you wake up from your long sleep" said Nadia.

Although he knew that Andre was asleep and did not hear his words, Nadia continued to speak at length. It feels very happy to see Andre is already in a stable and conscious condition. They will soon be reunited with their three children.

"Tomorrow we'll talk again. I want to rest first so that tomorrow can welcome you with a fresh face. Good night my future husband" he said with a tickled chuckle.

Nadia immediately stood up from her chair and walked towards the sofa in the room. He immediately broke his body and closed his eyes. Before long, Nadia was fast asleep because now her mind and heart had been a little relieved. Tomorrow is a long day for all Andre and Nadia's families because they must try to strengthen the man to be willing to rise and patiently accept the situation.
