Hyatt Regency Valencia - Santa Clarita, Los Angeles - California.
Austin and Cindy set foot in the hotel's spacious courtyard, after getting out of the well-parked car.
The two walked hand in hand past several arched leaf archways along the way to the center of the event.
Cindy is so beautiful with a white polkadot outer dress and a plain black inner knee-high. Her hair just ran out. He looks simple but elegant.
Austin is equally relaxed. Only a long blue shirt rolled up to the elbow, bouncing the ash chino pants on the length of his feet with black shoes.
"OZ!"
The two stopped to highlight the direction from which the call came.
It's on the left. As he called Austin, he was talking to someone near the pole.
Austin squinted his eyes to improve his vision. He looked at the clear figure of a man in more detail.
"Ron," he hissed later.
"Yeahh!" The caller who turned out to be the man exclaimed in delight. The quick pace brought him to the front of Austin as well as Cindy. "Yahuuuu! Where have you been, God damn it!" The man immediately lunged at Austin with a hug.
"Wooee! Release!" Austin tried to push him as hard as he could. "You can kill me, motherfucker!"
That man is Aaron Smith. One of the friends who became the reason Austin was willing to come to this place. The extraordinary closeness first, making him immediately recognize Austin once seen even from a distance that is not said to be close, but not too far.
"How are you, Ozt?!" ask Aaron. His hands moved around Austin's shoulders. Just reflexes he moves to invite Austin to arrange a step into a piece of door that has been wide open. "You're so different!"
"What's different?" ask Austin. "I still don't want to wear my pants outside!"
"Haha!" Aaron laughed at the joke. "Maybe you like pants in a monkey picture," replied the skinny man did not want to lose.
"I'd rather have Smurfette."
Aaron's getting worse. She seems so happy.
"Let's go see Walter! He'll be happy to see you this incredible!"
Austin didn't say much. "All right."
Uh, but wait! Austin stopped, looking back quickly. He forgot something.
"Where is he?!" Circulating the view around the body.
The situation inside was very crowded.
Aaron stopped his steps. "Who are you looking for, Ozt?"
"My wife!"
The man nodded, Aaron surprised. "Your wife said?" His face was astonished. "Did he just say wife?"
Aaron is a man who is good at busying himself, especially in his father's vineyard. He does not like watching television, watching gossip on social media, or any news that he thinks is unnecessary and only takes time. So Austin's busy wedding in Indonesia, not to his ears. Walter or anyone else didn't preach it.
Instead of treating the curiosity of his best friend, Austin stepped away. Divorce the crowd while continuing to look around.
"Stin up!" Aaron chased, and he managed to reach because Austin had stopped. "Who are you looking for?!"
"I said my wife!" sergeant Austin is impatient.
Austin was already walking again, he followed back with a draw.
"Hey! Are you the Austin who never spoke?!" A fat man prevented Austin and Aaron from walking near the exit. Various deserts filled the plate he was carrying.
"I didn't expect you to be a great driver in a country of people!"
Automatically halted their activities looking for Cindy, Austin was distracted by the moody figure.
A smile with no interest was presented by Austin. "You're good, Russell. Are you starting to like saffron-flavored snapper heads?" jest.
"Haha!" Russell laughs. "Yes, you're right. Nice snapper head. I added a little butter to put on Aunt Talula's bread. It makes my teeth yellow."
Talula's aunt is a school canteen mom who often gives free food to Austin, because the bule once helped her husband repair their damaged motorbike until it was neat again. Poor motorbike that was run over by a neighbor's dog.
"That's great," Austin responded to Russell. "So you don't have to put on gold teeth like your childhood dream!"
Aaron smothers his mouth withholding laughter. The teasing was thrown by their friends at Russel during High School, but Austin was never involved in any of them. Aaron was amazed at Austin's change. He didn't expect Austin to be any more ridiculous now than he thought. The absurdity used to be just about climbing the school fence to avoid Mrs. Dorothy and Mr. Champ, physics and mathematics teacher. The rest of him was silent and came back cold like a snow puppet.
Russell laughed again. "You still remember that damn joke apparently. So tell me, how did you become a famous racer and marry that beautiful woman named Cindy?!"
Well, at least Russell's better than Aaron about it.
That's why Aaron had to step up again. Russell, whose work just eats, knows about Austin's wedding. Even loudly mentioning the name of the woman who had officially become his best friend's wife was without fault.
"Cindy." Hearing Cindy's name mentioned, Austin's memory returns and begins to awaken. Wasn't he looking for his wife?
Aargh! Fucking russell!
"I'm sorry, Russell, I have a per-"
"Hey! Someone's been thrown into the pool!"
Not yet Austin continued his farewell sentence to Russel, the cry of a woman interrupting.
The people present at the event all rushed towards the swimming pool. Aaron got carried away, but not to run, followed by Russell the fat guy who was busy with his plate in the back. But Austin doesn't care, he still wants to find Cindy. The direction turns to the garden. I wish Cindy was there.
Others ....
"What's in there?!" aaron asked one of the male servants who happened to cross paths.
"A woman is plunged into the pool, sir!"
There was no more dialogue, hearing the information, Aaron and the fat man rushed to the place of reconciliation.
Everyone else surrounded the pool. Their expressions initially varied. Some are pitying, some are making fun and some are laughing because they feel entertained. But it was temporary, because the next minute they turned frantic. The woman in the pool did not appear to the surface after a while. That's beyond reasonableness.
"Heyy, are you okay?!"
BYURR!
A tall and handsome man came to the lips of the pond, asked quickly, and immediately threw himself after taking off the black suit he was wearing, to check the state of the person who was splashed.
Aaron and Russell just got here. Their attention is one-way the same-with everyone.
The man inside the pond appeared to the surface a few seconds later. The woman who splashed was already in her front sling in an unconscious state.
"Group!" exclaim Aaron. It turns out that the rescue man was Walter. A friend who intends to Aaron and Austin met a while ago.
