Without answering, Rena and her mother Rey walked into the cafe. They headed straight for a table that seemed to have been booked first.
However, Rena's face changed pias when they had arrived at the intended table. Rey, her father and Amanda are sitting there waiting for their arrival.
Rey's mother was already sitting in her chair, but Rena was still standing still glued to her place. Makes Amanda smile her slanted smile.
"Rey, thank you for inviting me to eat with your family" Amanda said as she stroked Rey's shoulder spoiled, deliberately showing Rena that her relationship with Rey was improving.
"When did I invite you? Are you not the one who d-d-"
"Ah Rey, you must be embarrassed, right? Don't discuss it anymore" said Amanda who immediately cut Rey's speech. Do not want his lie exposed, if he is the one who came alone without being invited.
Rey's mom doesn't care about their unimportant chat. He saw that Rena was still in her place.
"Rena, why are you still standing there? Here, sit here." Her mother tapped on the chair beside her to let Rena follow her directions.
Rewarding a slight awkward smile, Rena followed her mother Rey's request and sat down beside the woman.
"Tante, Aunty looks just more beautiful, huh?" say Amanda, please. But, her real goal is to show Rena how closely related she is to Rey's family.
"thank you. You're getting prettier too." The compliment Rey's mom made Amanda fly. She smiled shyly while closing her mouth.
You see Rena? You're no match for me. Even her mother was on my side.
"Where have you been all this time, Amanda? Long time never to see you again. Aunty thinks you're married and you have kids. Apparently, not yet?" exclaim Rey's mother.
Rey's mother's words made Amanda's face stiffen with embarrassment. The smile that had once been perfect, now slowly disappeared to the bottom of the earth.
"Ah? Hahaha not yet, Auntie. I'm still waiting for Rey to get married. But Rey already has another boyfriend. I thought Rey would be loyal to me" she said, out of nowhere, her tears dripped.
Rey's mother smiled in response to Amanda's rant.
"Tante also did not expect, after your departure Rey can be like a crazy person," said Rey's mother, making Amanda's face again sour.
"Because she's behaving like that, Mom immediately asks her to find another girl," he added, leaving Amanda's face in sour responsibility.
"Hem? Did Auntie ask for it? Actually I'm okay. As long as Aunt can approve it," said Amanda, she thought that Rey's mother did not like Rena's existence.
"As long as it's best for Rey, Auntie will definitely approve of it. Like this Rena, she's a very sweet girl. But unfortunately, he instead asked Rey to stay away because he said there was a woman who came to him the other day," said Rey's mother.
"Oh yeah?" Amanda pretended not to understand.
Hearing their conversation, Rena became confident with Rey's confession the other day. However, if to re-open her heart, she still felt unprepared.
"The order came.." said a waitress at their desk. Come while bringing lots of food.
Amanda takes some kind of food and puts it on Rey's plate, Rey just accepts it with her flat face. Not responding to anything.
"Rena, eat a lot, huh? After a lot of drain, it must be filled again," said Rey's mother while putting some kind of food on Rena's plate.
"Thank you, Mom." Rena smiled happily. He was treated well by the woman who had considered him a child.
Rey watched them with a snort of annoyed breath. How could he feel indifferent like this. However, there was pleasure in her as well, because her mother held me to be kind to Rena, not to Amanda.
Seeing his behavior, they all fell silent.
"Amanda, I can't eat that, Mom's cholesterol is high!" said Rey clucking.
^^^Indeed very troublesome! his inner.^^^
"Sorry, Aunt. Amanda doesn't know," she admitted with a puffy face.
"It's okay."
Rey's mother raised her hand, calling the cafe waiter.
"Is there anything we can help you with, ma'am?"
"Please replace my plate with a new one" he said with a flat face. Not once did he look at Amanda who had suddenly been gagu, embarrassed to be treated like that.
"Good, Mistress. Please wait a minute." the waiter immediately picked up a new plate and exchanged it.
Amanda clenched her hands and clenched her teeth. Why should he be treated like that. Especially in front of Rena! He really did not accept all their treatment.
Wasn't that all too obvious, the Rey family vehemently refused her presence in their midst. Why not say it frankly. Why still accept her to eat together and purposely humiliate her.
In fact, it was his shameless attitude that led him to come. Rey was desperate to refuse his arrival. However, he tries to convince the man with an alibi that Rey's mother must miss him a lot. For cliche reasons, Rey lets him join those who actually hate him.
Amanda constantly looked at Rena with a sharp look. But Rena never once looked at him, Rena was seen eating quietly. Make Amanda's blood go up.
Why would a woman like her be accepted by them? And me? Delicately expelled. I can't let this all go. He should have gone, not me.
"Wah Rena, it looks like you are ravenous huh? Eat the full ones. Surely you can rarely eat well like this, right?" I don't know what Amanda said, either innuendo or indeed advice for Rena.
Rena looked up, looking at Amanda who was looking at her with a condescending look.
"Yes. But fortunately now I'm getting tired of food like this" he replied casually.
"Why? Is it because it's too expensive for you?" amanda asked purposefully by narrowing her eyes, but that humbling smile had not disappeared.
"No. Maybe because I've tried it too often" he replied, returning to smile. At first glance, Rena's smile does look like a friendly smile. But Amanda knew clearly, Rena was subtly replying.
Amanda smiled too.
"Oh, you're very lucky. Ever since you got to know Rey, you've been trying fancy food a lot" Amanda said. It was as if he was saying that Rena could only rely on Rey.
"It seems you misunderstood. I work, and I use it for myself. Unlike other women, who can only rely on men to comply with all her wishes, "said Rena. There was no more smile on his face. If he had to fight now, he would already feel ready.
"Rena, sometimes we have to keep our own mouth so as not to cause problems" said Amanda with a sweet smile.
"Then?" asked Rena by raising her next to her eyebrows.
"You must know your mouth's your tiger?"
"Of course I know. But, you also know that a careless attitude can make you die in an instant!" bala Rena's.
