My House Of Horrors

My House Of Horrors
10: Mirror Mirror

Phew, fear yourself for no reason. Gao Ru Xue's chest rose unevenly as her heart beat at an unstable speed. It had been a long time since he had acted stupidly.

The creepy music keeps playing.

Using the weak light, he could see his shadow pupils in the mirror begin to shrink. In the mirror, the mosquito net behind him opened by itself!

The face of the paper mannequin showed itself, and from the reflection in the mirror, he could clearly see that it was smiling at him.

"Who is there—" The normal human reaction during extreme fear is anger and aggression.

Gao Ru Xue turned around, but there was nothing there. He ran towards the mosquito net to pull it open to see what was really behind it. However, the design of the net was more complicated than he had expected; it had many different layers, and the net was connected to the bed itself. Instead of opening the net, Gao Ru Xue was instead trapped in the net.

At that moment, he could hear footsteps from inside the room.

I didn't move, so whose footsteps was that?

The loss of his juniors combined with the effects of Black Friday had completely destroyed Gao Ru Xue's psychological defense.

An unknown sound of footsteps was the last straw that finally broke the camel's back.

His feet turned jelly, and he found himself unable to move. Fear is like an uncaged animal, tearing its sense of rationality apart.

Gao Ru Xue pulled the mesh, trying her best to break away from it, but to no avail. The sound of footsteps became suspicious.

Impossible! The room was only large, if someone came close, I would definitely be able to see it! His heart was in a state of chaos, to the point that even a simple decoration within the room sent a sense of heat to his spine.

The white lantern outside the window swayed in the wind, causing the light in the room to dim. His reflexes in the bronze mirror started to blur. Gao Ru Xue's disciples trembled as she realized the reflection in the mirror was no longer herself, but rather a strange woman in a wedding dress!

In more ways than one, the woman's appearance looked like she was dressed to kill. Her beauty had a subtle quality to it; it was extremely charming, like looking at a recently excavated artwork.

Staring at the woman in the mirror, Gao Ru Xue's lips trembled, and fear surfaced on her face for the first time.

From his experience dealing with so many autopsies, he was familiar with the feelings given by the woman in the mirror; this was the face of the dead!

The Haunted House is hiding the real corpse! The moment this thought entered his mind, fear swallowed him like a giant wave.

He tried his best to escape from the bronze mirror, and when he staggered backwards, he knocked on something.

At the same time, the sound of footsteps stopped, and Gao Ru Xue's mind was completely blank at that moment. Having lost the ability to think, he turned around instinctively to look back.

Gazing at her gaze was a woman with a man's makeup and a wedding dress. He smiled at her.

“Ahh!” The piercing scream shattered the silence of the Haunted House; it could even be heard outside the building itself. With his hands still entangled in the net, Gao Ru Xue's feet finally gave up, and he fell to the ground.

Depressed fear manifests as tears, which fall uncontrollably.

His eyes were tightly closed, and his mouth was slightly open.

The woman began to dry up.

"Xiao Wan, quickly take him out!"

"Good."

The female ghost standing before Gao Ru Xue took off her Bluetooth earphones hidden under her hair and crouched down to say, "The experience ends here. Please take a breath, I'll take you out now."

Ten seconds later, the exit to the Minghun scenario was pushed open. Chen Ge rushed over and asked, "There's only one? Where are the others?"

He rushed in a hurry as he could not find He San on the surveillance cameras.

"The coward fainted as he ran into the room and looked at the two mirrors. I was afraid she would affect the experience of the next visitor, so I dragged her to hide under the bed ..."

"Fainted?"

Chen Ge also did not know how to respond.

"First salvation, if this happens again in the future, let me know immediately!"

"Yes the boss."

After leaving Xu Wan to guard Gao Ru Xue, Chen Ge went to the room to pull He San out from behind the bed. The young man was completely unconscious like he was so traumatized.

** * *, I have to take it somewhere open first!

"Please empty the space!"

Chen Ge placed He San at the entrance of the Haunted House, and he started massaging the young man and placed a pack of ice on his forehead, trying to wake him up.

This development surprised the visitors who still did not leave the park.

"Oh my God, what's going on there?"

"Visit the Ghost House until she passes out, this is the first time I've seen something like this."

"He was scared until he fainted, right? So why do online reviews say this place is not scary?"

"F* ck, I'm getting cold ..."

Not long after, Xu Wan came out carrying Gao Ru Xue.

The woman was in stark contrast to the person who entered.

Gao Ru Xue's new hair was in a mess, her face was pale, and her work was weak. There were still tears drying up on his face.

"This is a completely different person!"

"What's he going through there?"

"But why should they be afraid? Aren't they forensic students?"

Xu Wan placed Gao Ru Xue on the stairs and gave her a bottle of water.

The woman was still recovering from the experience, evident by her trembling hands as she held the bottle.

"Don't swarm around them, they need air!"

Chen Ge also felt a headache coming.

It was only natural that Gao Ru Xue shed tears of fear, but what about this young man? Why did he suddenly faint? Why didn't he admit that he was easily scared‽

What is it with men and their self-esteem?

The commotion caused more and more visitors to gather at the Ghost House. This caught the attention of the park manager, who was rushing on his electronic bike.

"Xiao Chen's! What the hell is going on here? Why is there a visitor who fainted on the land—" Uncle Xu asked as he jumped down from his bike and broke through the crowd.

"I don't know; maybe it's the heat ..." Even Chen Ge did not feel confident about the answer.

"Sheat flashes in this weather?"

Uncle Xu rushed over to pick up He San and place him on his bike.

"After all, we have to send him to the medical room first!"

A few minutes later, maybe it was a massage or a sound from the crowd, He San began to rise. His eyelashes fluttered and sat down from the bicycle. His eyes were red, and his mouth continued to mutter,

"Mirror, Mirror ..."

"Son, stay calm!"

"Look, doesn't he look possessed?"

After a few minutes in the sun, He San finally became more like himself. He scratched the back of his head and blushed in embarrassment when he realized the entire crowd was staring at him.

"Do you feel better? Why did you faint inside the Haunted House?"

Uncle Xu who was wearing a garden uniform gave a bottle of water to He San.

"I really can't remember exactly what happened. I was so scared and ran to the first door I saw. There was a bronze mirror on the wall, and I remember someone calling my name, but I don't remember what happened after that" He San said with a face full of confusion.

"Maybe it's something that the Haunted House set up?"

"There's a scenario related to the mirror inside the Haunted House?"

Uncle Xu turned his head towards Chen Ge, who looked unkind.
