Gerald sat on the edge of the bed. He let Cathleen who was standing before him dry her short hair. Thirty minutes had passed, but his wife did not stop.
“For so long you dry my hair,” protested Gerald while pulling Cathleen's hand to stop holding her head.
Cathleen is grinning, thrilled to be able to touch Gerald to the point of feeling like a wife and ending up deliberately drying out the cold-hearted man's hair.
“Sorry, I'm too animating,” to Cathleen.
Gerald only responded with a headband. He was not angry by putting out harsh words. The man returned to the body, crossed both hands used as a pillow, and closed his eyes.
Cathleen sighed, smiling bitterly as again Gerald ignored her. “You're going to sleep? Don't want to eat first? I'll get it if you want.”
While removing the hairdryer from the plug, Cathleen made an offer. He was happy to serve Gerald like that, even though he was just preparing a change of clothes and drying his hair. At least as such, he felt as if he was on Gerald's side.
“No, if you're hungry, just go out and eat. Don't disturb me sleep, tomorrow I have to continue searching for Chloe.” Without further ado, Gerald immediately refused.
And that refusal made Cathleen smile wryly. It was hard to replace Chloe in Gerald's heart. She decided to leave the room, leaving her husband alone.
“Thankfully Chloe could be loved by Gerald to make the man did not glance at other women including his own wife,” muttered Cathleen after closing the room door.
Cathleen never thought that Edbert was the same as Gerald who loved a woman to her bones. Perhaps Edbert's treatment like a prison warden made his logic closed with the desire to live freely without restraints. “Sorry, Sir, I just reminded you that the time of one week was not long.” Still dare the secretary respond to the anger of his Master.
“For me, one week is long. It feels like I want to kidnap Cathleen right now and I'm locked up until she can't be found by anyone.” Edbert let go of the grip violently until his secretary's head jolted to the right.
“My advice, don't do that, sir. Miss Cathleen will definitely hate you. Better fix yourself, eliminate the traits that are not liked by your ex-lover.”
Again Edbert glared at his secretary. “Love! I have not considered my relationship with Cathleen to be over!” She emphasized the word lover as if affirming that Cathleen should remain hers at all times.
