This morning, Zahrah woke up late. Lucky today is Sunday. So, she did not have to worry about being late for school.
After finishing the bath, Zahrah put on her casual clothes. He walked out of Mamuju's room to the dining room.
In the dining room looks crowded by his family and also the family of his brother's in-laws.
"Good morning everyone" Zahrah said in reply with a sweet smile from everyone.
"Come here, kid, have breakfast together" Ellen asked.
Zahrah nodded slowly, taking a sitting position next to her father.
"Let's eat a lot, so you get big fast" Ellen joked.
"I've grown up Auntie, look at this, fat's where it's been. If my body was bigger than this again, there probably wouldn't be any clothes that fit on my body" Zahra said.
Ellen smiled looking at Zahra who was eating very voraciously. Somehow he felt more interested in Zahrah than pad Sirena who had legitimately become his son-in-law.
After breakfast, they all moved to the front room. Because the Handono family house is not too big, so they only have one family room at once become a guest room.
The whole family seemed to be chatting and joking. Sometimes their giggling sounds are heard when they take revenge on each other.
With the exception of Sirena, it was seen that since then she was just silent and trying to get away from her husband.
"Oh yes, I want to say something" Jerico said.
"What do you want to say, son?" ask Ellen.
"After discussions with Sirena last night, we decided to move to the city later in the day" said Jerico who successfully made Sirena look at him giddy.
When do we discuss?
"Is this not too soon, son?" ask Lastri.
Jerico shook his head slowly. "No, ma'am, it's been our decision. After all, I can't leave my job for too long either" Jerico explained.
"But-"
"Well son Jerico, if it's your decision, we'll agree to it" Gunawan said, cutting off his wife's words.
As for Lastri, he could only shut up. She couldn't argue if her husband spoke up.
"Come brother, I will help you prepare all the items you need" said Zahra.
Sirena nodded, and they passed into Sirena's room.
At least in the room, Sirena immediately threw her body on the bed. Covering her face with her palm and crying in silence.
Zahrah was surprised, she approached her brother who was crying.
"Sister" Zahra held her brother's shoulder. Seeing her brother cry like that, makes Zahrah so sad.
"Zahrah, I don't want to go!"
"But, this has been the decision of the husband of the brother and sister as well"
"But I want to be here Zahrah" Sirena said. He was really sad when he had to leave the village where he lived. There are so many memories in this village.
"Sister, sister is married. It's appropriate that brother follow what brother's husband decides. "
"So, I still remember what you said. A daughter, if you are married. She has to follow what her husband says" Zahrah repeated the advice often uttered by her mother.
"But the deck, it's a different story"
"Well, whatever the story is, brother. The obligation remains the same. A wife must obey her husband" replied Zahra wisely.
"Keep brother wants to be like what? do you want to reject the wishes of your husband and cause problems in the heart of your first brother to become a wife? continue, same mom dad so sad. Do you want that to happen?" zahrah said that Sirena immediately shook her head.
Of course, the woman who just yesterday became a wife was not willing to make both parents sad.
"Son, so now we pack all the clothes and items you need" said Zahrah.
Actually, Zahrah understood what her brother felt. Seeing the attitude of her brother like this, making Zahrah sure that this marriage happened because of an arranged marriage.
However, what to say. Rice has become porridge, it can never become rice again.
"Yes yes, the most mature. Whatever you want, tell me what. I just gave up" Sirena said, wiping away her tears.
"Oh yeah, you got a school scholarship in town right?" Zahrah nodded.
"Then, big brother will be waiting for you in the city. We'll stay there later"
"Okay boss" Zahra replied with a horse.
After finishing putting all the items Sirena needed into the suitcase, they returned the vestibule.
Sirena's time in this house is getting shorter. There's only an hour left.
"Are you ready?" ask Jerico. Sirena did not reply, she simply pointed at her suitcase with a glance.
Jerico smiled, though his wife did not answer in a voice. At least Sirena replied by showing her the suitcase.
At 1pm, everyone was busy stuffing their luggage into the trunk of the car. Especially Jerico, he helped his wife put a large suitcase into the car.
After all the goods have entered the car, now when they say goodbye to the Handoko family.
Sirena hugged her mother, a sad cry was inevitable. He really didn't want to be separated from his mother and father.
"Son, remember mom's message. You must obey your husband. Smart with family there. Don't make them upset with you. Understood?"
Sirena nodded at her mother's advice, she would never forget that.
Now, Sirena turned to her father.
"Dad.."
"Oh, don't cry. Father's son is grown, now has become the wife of people" Gunawan chuckled softly. Showing happiness and hiding the sadness of parting from his eldest daughter.
"I'm gonna miss you"
"Dad will miss daddy's daughter too"
Sirena came back crying, she really couldn't.
"Hey, why cry hm? I will follow you there" decak Zahrah pinched her brother's cheek when her brother wanted to give a farewell greeting.
"You must catch up with me, otherwise I will go home and drag you there" They laughed at Sirena's words.
"Okay, let's go now. Before the plane leaves us!" jerico.
They also immediately got into the car. Jerico pushed his wife slowly who seemed reluctant to get into the car.
"Here you go, let's go in. They can visit you anytime. You're not separated by death" Rich Jericho made Sirena look at him sharply.
"You won't understand what I'm feeling" Sirena said.
"Whatever!" jerico's reply got into the car after his wife got in.
Zahra looked at her brother's departure. This felt a little heavier, compared to releasing her brother living at her boarding house not far from where she worked.
