CHAPTER 20 PANIC ATTACKS

Because Jovan's panic brought Bella home to the apartment nearby hers, every step Jovan took received the spotlight from every student who was still in the area around the campus.

On the way not to forget Jovan contacted the family doctor to immediately slide into the apartment.

"Meet me in the apartment ten minutes from now, my wife needs help" Jovan said briefly clear and congested on a phone call in panic.

After closing the call, Jovan just throws his phone and refocuses on driving.

Jovan's current focus is Bella, yes from campus until arriving at the apartment which is only ten minutes away by car Bella has not been aware.

Currently Bella is lying in bed with Jovan who back rubbed Bella's cheek to respond.

Bella's eyeballs move left and right but still won't open her eyes.

"Bella, beware~" said Jovan quietly near Bella's face.

One brief kiss landed on the top of Bella's head, there was a deep sense of worry that enveloped Jovan's current feelings.

Along with that, the apartment doorbell rang several times. Jovan hastened to open the door and sure enough it was the family doctor who was on the phone.

"My wife is in the room, do whatever it takes to get her back to consciousness. Come with me." Jovan directs a female doctor named Joey into the room.

"I'll do an examination and in that moment I ask you to prepare a warm water drink mixed with lemon and a little honey ." joey's doctor put down her doctor's briefcase and began a thorough examination of Bella.

While Joey's doctor examines Bella, Jovan appears to be struggling in the kitchen preparing what Joey's doctor needs.

A few minutes later, Jovan was back in the room after putting the warm drink that Dr. Joey meant on a small table near the window.

"Your wife fainted from a panic attack. He must have felt very threatened or something bad that he was afraid would attack him. Do you intend to tell me what happened to your wife Jovan ?" joey's doctor said after putting in a bag of infusions and is currently standing near Jovan.

"There's nothing you should know about Joey. Is there anything else I should do ? If there isn't then you should leave immediately." said Jovan without saying stale .

Of course this is not taken seriously by the doctor Joey who incidentally was a friend of Jovan since childhood.

They grew up together and both equally came from a respected conglomerate family in the city of New Jersey.

"She's been sober there's just trauma that makes your wife reluctant to respond around. Stay with him and give him a warm drink to calm his mind. Don't make him remember things that traumatize him okay. I'm going back to the hospital because there's another patient that I have to deal with.If there's anything call me, bye." Joey's doctor said goodbye after cleaning up all his equipment.

Jovan responds to Joey's words with a nod, "Thanks Joey."

Then Jovan escorts Joey's doctor to the door of the apartment, after which Jovan re-enters the room where Bella is lying weak at this time.

"Take this and rest okay, don't think about anything Bella, it'll be fine I promise you." said Jovan Lirih as he fed a spoonful of warm lemon water mixed with honey.

Bella did not respond, but she according to what Jovan said, after spending half of the glass filled with lemon water mixed with honey Bella returned to lie down and try to rest.

After Jovan makes sure Bella rests quietly, Jovan himself does not leave the room but continues his work while waiting for Bella.

For hours Jovan spent struggling with a laptop in his lap. Currently Jovan is preparing for the course for the next few days because Jovan himself has decided not to go to campus until Bella's condition is stable.

After completing his assignment, Jovan contacts a Gilbert family trust lawyer.

Jovan firmly wants the perpetrators of abuse against Bella either directly or indirectly involved should get the punishment as heavy as possible. Jovan doesn't care if it's true that Michelle's involved.

Gilbert Jovan believes Michelle will not be able to escape punishment despite her family paying the most expensive team of lawyers in the world.

"I'll never forgive anyone who hurt Bella." Jovan still felt furious and true emotions when he remembered the video that was spread on campus today.

Time has shown at half-twelve by midnight, and Jovan decides to sleep next to Bella, just to make sure his wife does not return to panic attacks.

Jovan sleeps on the side of Bella's bed, holding Bella's hand.

Slowly but surely, Jovan was asleep and both equally dissolved in the dream until morning.
