Vampire'S Secret Baby

Vampire'S Secret Baby
|6|. A Letter of Agreement

Some moments the atmosphere sank into silence. Annette repeatedly asked in her heart, 'Is there something wrong with my hearing?'

'The foreigner in front of me just said...'

"Sorry" Annette sounded pretty polite.

"Can you repeat again?" Annette smiled confusedly saying nervously, "P-bride?"

"Yes bride" nod Egbert casually. As if it was just a simple thing like picking a thumb.

"From tonight on you will be my bride" Egbert looked intently at Annette's pair of black eyes that were already shaking violently with disbelief.

"But you don't have to worry" Egbert fixed his sitting position and folded his hands on the table.

"Because all of this is only limited to paper. Once all my ambitions are achieved, you'll get the rewards"

Hearing that Annette's body suddenly collapsed and almost fell out of the chair. Hurry up Annette holds the edge of the table. His eyelashes trembled violently and his black eyeballs seemed to be sticking out a glimmer of fire and fury.

"Replace me!" Annette's voice was still calm. He was rational enough to control his emotions.

"Quickly return me back to my place" he said again. He did not know at all why and how could among thousands of people why should he be trapped in this misfortune.

I do not know how many seconds passed and the atmosphere was left quiet. Reacting to Egbert's silent and unresolved request, Annette exploded, "HURRY HOME KAN AKUU!"

Screeched Annette hysterical. His patience is exhausted. The man had kidnapped her and seemed completely innocent of it. Then he came to offer her an unreasonable deal and easily told her to sign him. Thanks to her selfish actions, Annette has missed classes and a valuable part-time job.

"You don't have to scream!" Egbert tapped his index finger on the table. Dislike was evident from the look in her eyes that were completely unhappy with Annette's shout.

"I will definitely return you after you sign this contract" Egbert clapped his hands and footsteps could be heard approaching the dining room.

Mary's butler came with a brown map in her hand.

"It's mister"

"Em" Egbert received the brown map and presented it to Annette.

"Before you turn it down, read this letter of agreement" she told Annette.

Then Egbert turned his head to Mary's butler saying, "Take care of the dinner table!"

"Good sir"

Mary's butler called the servants to come to the dining room. In just seven minutes, the three maids had cleared the dining table. Afterwards they left and only Mary's butler was still standing far away in the corner.

'What the fuck?' Annette's mind was not happy after reading the letter.

That's totally inhumane.

Married, pregnant, gave birth and raised children within a certain time...

Then the child will belong to party A and party B will receive the appropriate payment.

Annette's hand involuntarily clenched, feeling desperate to punch the paper to the point of crumbling and shattering.

"I'm sorry I refused" Annette put the crazy enough deal letter back in the folder and put it on the table.

"I don't need it" Sela Annette, "I'm still quite capable of living myself so far"

"Haah" Egbert sighed dissatisfied with Annette's refusal.

"From the beginning, I didn't need your approval for this" In human form, Egbert's red eyes looked pitch-black like ink.

"This letter of agreement is just a formality" And the pair of black eyes stared intently at Annette's eyes until they made her tremble.

"So whether you agree or not, you'll still be my bride tonight" Egbert pressed Annette with his sharp gaze like a knife that could at any moment pull a cruel beat if his words were not followed.

The light alone made Annette terrified. But even so he still refused, "T-no" Annette's voice sounded vibrating.

"I-I don't want to" Annette immediately got up from her seat and prepared to leave the dining room. Just about two steps away, the three steps he walked with were quite hasty...

Just getting a cursory glimpse of the dark shadow continued to pass through it very quickly and somehow someone appeared to come grabbing his hand and blocking it strongly.

"Miss" Egbert's voice fell like ice cold freezing around.

"Do you think you can just run away from this place?"

Annette's body shook violently at Egbert who was already in front of her.

'Isn't that guy sitting there?'

'Then that...'

'What kind of shadow was that?'

Annette seemed to be ready to cry and faint, 'What is this man in front of me?'

Seeing how scared Annette was, Egbert's lips formed a sharp curve and smiled deathly like a demon.

"You.." Annette's dark red lips trembled in fear, "S-who are you really?"

"You think?" Egbert raised one of his eyebrows and put on a mysterious smile continuing, "Who am I?"

With a single stomp, Egbert pulled Annette's wrist until the small body fell into his arms.

Annette gasped in shock and was ready to rebel. Just a chilling cold edict fell in the air, it instantly froze the muscles in his body.

"Shut up!"

"..." - ".Annette closed her eyes tightly, really wanting to cry that second. There was just not a single drop of water coming out.

"If you still rebel to go..." Egbert whispered coldly right on the threshold of Annette's ear, "I'm not afraid to break both your legs"

Hearing that both of Annette's knees were squeezed almost crashing to the floor. But before that happened, a large arm immediately held him back.

"Because you're gonna be my bride.." Egbert's gaze fell down looking at the pretty face of Annette who was still covered in fear.

"Then I'll tell you who I really am"
