"Huh??"

Gerald was so shocked to hear his senior statement. His awkward laughter just came out. Even his face cannot be conditioned. The young man could not hide his feelings properly.

"From the beginning look at him, my world seemed to center on him. Although, he's a nulla I don't care about," Fred explained.

Gerald's face grew sour. He can't speak anymore. He wanted to claim that Lacy was his, but those words could not be said. The young man was too astonished to hear his senior's statement.

"Eee~ brother, sister isn't there still class? I'm here so I can take care of Lacy, brother back to class, how?"

Fred scrunched his forehead. Gerald's statement has a point, too. He was the chairman of the osis, and he had to exemplify good things for his juniors.

Fred nodded his head. He immediately stepped foot leaving Gerald who was smiling in astonishment as he waved his hand.

Upon seeing the long-haired senior leave, Gerald immediately lowered his hand and removed his smile. The young man immediately clucked in annoyance as he felt that there was a competitor. But, he would not give up so easily. If you look carefully, between himself and Fred, it is clear he is the more handsome.

Gerald returned a smile as he thought about it. He was satisfied that he had won in one aspect of that senior. Proudly, he opened the doors of UKS and greeted Lacy.

However, the first sight he saw was Lacy who was asleep. The girl's face looked calm and not piqued at all. It was like an angel, Gerald thought.

Slowly, the young man approached her. He admired the girl's face up close, and involuntarily clucked in awe at her. How could there be someone as beautiful as her. If you've seen Lacy, then the other girls will look like normal in Gerald's eyes.

Gerald held hands beside Lacy's bed. Instead of waking her up, the young man waited for Lacy to wake up on her own. However, a few minutes had passed, there was no sign that the girl would wake up.

Gerald was panicking. He thought, "is he dead?"

With a trembling hand, Gerald placed his finger under Lacy's nose to see if the girl was still breathing.

Gerald heaved a sigh of relief when he felt a breath from the girl. He returned to his arms admiring her.

"Are you going to stay there? You're interfering with my work."

A startling voice of Gerald admiring his girlfriend. He turned his head and saw a woman in a white dress like a doctor was looking at her with a pushy look.

"Rather than you not having a job there, mending you help me," said the woman.

Gerald frowned confusedly. He still doesn't know the teachers who work at this school. He also did not see the news. With hesitation, he asked, "You..who is it?"

The woman fell silent. He was too dumbfounded to talk. How could anyone not recognize him. In a crisp tone, the woman replied, "I'm Eve, Eve Waves. I'm the UKS teacher here."

This time, Gerald was silent. He had heard that last name. But, where is it?

"Do you have a blood relationship with Kannon Waves?" ask Gerald again.

"Yes, she's my daughter. Are you his friend?"

Gerald was shocked and speechless. The mother of the girl who had been harassing him all day was in front of him. An awkward laugh sounded from Gerald's mouth. Today too many things have left him dumbfounded. I want him to sleep a while.

Eve yells keget when she sees Gerald pass out. The woman immediately carried him to the bed next to Lacy and tried to check on him.

"Where is this?" ask Gerald in a daze.

"UKS. ckck~ children today are too weak."

Eve turned to leave the young man to finish her work. Gerald turned his head towards Lacy's bed. He intended to admire the sleeping face of the girl again. However, when he turned his head, he was surprised not to play because he saw Lacy who had opened her eyes.

The girl looked at Gerald with a sneering look. Looks like she saw a faint Gerald knowing that Eve was Kannon's mother. Lacy rolled her eyes and shook her head. He also turned his back on the young man so as not to see his face.

Gerald cried in his heart. He felt that he had been rejected by his girl because of his stupid behavior.

"Aren't you working here waiting for me?" ask Lacy.

It seemed like the girl had been awake ever since Gerald walked into the room, and she was deeply disturbed by the gaze from the young man. His eyes seemed to want to eat him alive.

"Oh, I came here to tell you there's a duty from Levy's mom. We're in the same group."

Gerald explains what Mage just explained to Lacy. The girl listened carefully, but also frowned confusedly. Why would a teacher tell his student who had no magic to make a protector?

"Is that woman not so selfish? In our class, it's not just me who's a nulla. Does he mean to tease a nulla in his class?" lacy's Exclamation.

Gerald fell silent. He also did not know the meaning of his homeroom class. When viewed from his attitude, it is clear that the woman does not like the existence of a nulla in her class. But, it cannot be used as an excuse to ignore them. A teacher's job is to protect his students.

"What if we put that aside first? We're mandated by the Mage to take over the hall."

"Is he crazy??!!" shout Lacy.

"The hall is large and broad. Among us, the only one who can use magic is you. If you make a protector for a week there, you can..."

Lacy did not continue. Undeniably, he was worried about Gerald. He felt that he was just a burden to his group. Of the 8 people, only he could not use his magic and dregs, Gerald joined himself to create a protector.

Gerald was surprised to hear Lacy yelling. However, he was so happy to see Lacy who was worried about him. A smile on his face. He can't hide his feelings of pleasure, until he is considered strange by Lacy.

The girl lectured Gerald because he was irrational. Then Lacy said, "Are you crazy? I'm worried about you, but you're smiling like there's nothing,"

Lacy was silent for a moment. He opened his eyes repeatedly, trying to digest what he had said. Meanwhile, Gerald was still smiling happily before him.

As soon as he woke up, the girl immediately wavered. Stammering, he said, "I mean I'm afraid you're going to die and become a burden on us, not what you think."

The girl's cheeks were red. Since childhood, he can not string words well and always make others misunderstand. He did not want to admit he was worried about Gerald and made the young man misunderstand his intentions.

"Yes, yeah. I-i understand. Do you want to keep lying there? I'm going to the hall. I want to see what we can do there about this assignment. At least we can strategize, right?" obviously Gerald.

Lacy nodded and followed Gerald's footsteps from behind, leaving Eve staring at them with an annoyed look.

The woman could not work at all because of their screams. He was also upset that they seemed unaware that it was not just the two of them who were there. While clucking in annoyance, the woman said, "Young age."

Eve shook her head and resumed that endless work.
