TINI SUKETI
72. The Roar of Dinner

That night was very boisterous. Boy took out a mat and stretched it across the terrace between Tini's room and Mak Robin's. Evi brought two basins of rice and placed them into the middle of the mat. Dayat composes plates and glasses. Asti, who can only donate energy, helped lift the dishes out of the room. Bara was still sitting on the plastic chair while holding Mima who was asleep.

“I sit where?” ask Mak Robin who just came out of her room with a bowl in hand.

“Sit in the middle. Let look like sesajen,” sahut Tini.

“Awas you,” said Mak Robin, removing Tini's body to sit leaning against the wall of her room.

“Eat what, Mom? Don't want to buy enthok?” asti asked, removing her sandals to sit on the mat.

“I ate my own side dish. Enthoknya, right, just one. It will not be enough to be shared by many people,” said Mak Robin.

“I promise next time will be more diligent to save neighboring cattle,” said Evi.

“Coki rescued aja cow, Ma'am,” Dayat said.

“Do not mention that name in this holy place,” said Tini. PLAKK! Tini hit Dayat's head. The young man was just grinning while holding his head.

“It's still a lot, Mak. Unless you eat it a basin, yes, it will not be enough. Where's your plate?” Tini stretched out her hand asking for Mak Robin's plate. After filling Mak Robin's plate, Tini returns it. “Don't forget your child is packed,” says Tini.

“Si Robin no nutmeg times should be told to eat. If he is hungry, his mouth will surely sound. (The Robin does not have to be asked to eat. If you're hungry, you'll say).”

Boy, Asti, Dayat and Evi have hugged each other's plates. Waiting for Tini and Sejah who crouched down scooping rice.

“This is for Mas-ku,” said Sejah, thrusting dishes on Bara.

“Mima is still sleeping. Mas later also nothing,” said Bara.

“I'm ready, huh? A plate of both to be more romantic,” said Dijah.

"Well, I'm a secret yo nduwe, but you're free talk saiki, ono tuyul loro iki, dadi mengko-mengko wae wes. (Well, I have a secret. But I'm free to say skrg. There are two of these tuyul. So later on.)” Tini glanced at Evi and Dayat who instantly cast a suspicious look at her.

“Halah, secrets. At most an hour,” says Evi. Dayat who heard that laughed out loud while nodding.

“Iyo. Bener,” says Dayat.

“Surely about per-mas-mas-an,” whispered Colored.

“Mantep you. Can you know,” said Tini also in whispers.

“What else, Tin? What else makes your face sparkle like that, besides money and lanang? Not possible about anything else,” replied Sejah.

Tini grimaced but then reached into the phone in her pocket. “I want to watch—“ Tini speechless. His hand that was scrolling through the screen of his phone instantly fell silent when he realized Evi and Dayat were sticking their heads out to look at him. Including the Boy who does not know what is meant. While Asti and Mak Robin exchanged looks full of suspicion.

“Mengko-mengko wae, Jah. (Later on, Jah.)” Tini kept her phone back.

That night the residents of the boarding house turned on the porch lights. Ignoring the usual price of electricity tokens is always trying to save them.

“Tini is now royal,” said Boy.

“Normally no flame?” ask Dayat.

“Pake electric eel, Ma'am,” Reply Dayat.

“I don't know any eel that has electricity here!” PLAKK! “You made me talk carelessly. Don't get out said ‘astaga’. Today broke a record. Two hours no one has spoken ‘astaga’.” Tini glanced at Bara who was staring at her. Colored chuckles while rubbing her husband's cheeks.

“Honey, Dara returned home. If not he can come eat,” said Boy.

“When to come back here, Mas?” ask Asti.

“Next week said,” replied Boy.

“Tomorrow I will go early, if you want to go out, do not go far. There are still many kidnappings in this city. City kidnappers can judge the look on their faces,” Tini told her sisters.

"What is the look on your face?" ask Evi.

"Yes, value the look on your face." Tini chuckled looking at Evi.

“Where to?” tanya Sejah's.

"Morning really I want to meet the soang. Entering new police data. Keep saying he wants me to incentivize these two years. Tomorrow I can flatten the mall, Jah. My money is a lot,” explained Tini.

“Ckckck, cocky ..” murmured Bara. “Mas Agus name changed arbitrarily,” added Bara.

“If Mr. Agus gets to know, we know who did.” Tini looked at the Seized and Bara alternately. “Dul, Mima, soon Budhe will introduce Pakde to you. Please be patient,” said Tini, stroking Mima's curly hair that extends to her ears.

“Which pact?” tanya Bara was curious.

“This husband of yours, Jah ... astaganya a hundred times, but still want to know,” sneer Tini. Bara instantly clenched his mouth.

Colonized and his family came home at nine p.m. Bara invites Tini to bring her sisters home. Before parting at the fence, Dijah warned Tini to come to his house and tell about the secret that Tini had said at a glance.

As Boy promised this afternoon, Dayat slept in his room with a mat and a thick blanket given by Tini. At first Boy had worried that Dayat was not comfortable on the floor, but true Tini said. His sister will still sleep even though the gulf war takes place nearby.

Tini left for her former office when the sky was still dark. He had received praise for coming early in his training, so he did not want his new office chatty boss to revoke the praise. Looking at the character of his superior, it seems like a sentence of praise is a rare thing.

Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok

Tini knocked on the door of Agus's room that opened. The room's AC hasn't even been turned on.

“Sorry, Sir. So come to part because of me,” said Tini.

“Nothing,” replied Agus. “I also do not want to be late in the new office. What's the working atmosphere there? Comfortable?” ask Agus.

“In the whole atmosphere of the office is comfortable. But I think it all starts with the mood. Where it is comfortable, if our mood is good. I'm comfortable here too, sir. I came out not because I was uncomfortable,” Tini said wisely. He did not want to make Agus discouraged by praising his new office better. The days ahead no one will ever know.
