"You sure you don't need an escort?"
After an overnight stay at basecamp, this morning Theo and his group intend to continue their journey.
"No need for uncle, I can take care of myself, and Jasia can be a guide." Theo rejected Bosweric's offer to provide him with more escorts.
The night before, Theo had already briefly explained to Bosweric about the situation of these two brothers. His uncle seemed concerned about the fate of the two, but could not help much because he could not leave Basecamp. Bosweric could only give instructions for Theo to discuss the matter with his father.
Theo himself was from the beginning intending to discuss this issue more deeply with his father, he wanted to raise the topic of some old traditions that do seem to have to be changed, because it is prone to conflict in the family.
After saying his greetings and hugging his uncle for a while, Theo and his group continued on their way. Jasia walked in front as a hint of direction, while Kalina continued to hold onto the spoiled Theo.
Bosweric himself, only noticed this group walking slowly away from the basecamp. His eyes were fixed on Theo's back, looking at him with a contentious gaze. Before finally taking a long breath.

Bosweric was still unfamiliar, having chatted with his nephew several times the night before, to discuss family conflicts. After a full day's journey, Theo's group finally arrived at the Alknight house area. There were no significant obstacles throughout the journey, they had only met several times by accident with low-grade spirit beasts. Theo chose not to bother with releasing the aura to just expel some of these spirit beasts. Not delaying the trip too long.
Before them at this moment, they could see the city gate of Alknight City. Alknight City is a small town built by Alknight houses to house all of their branch houses. The stone walls stretched out in circles around the entire city. This small town is the running center of the economy of the Alknight house. However, Alknight House was once the largest house in the Glaire Empire region, Alknight City is one of the former markers of their house's success in the past.
Before entering the city, everyone had to pass through the examination that was at the city gate. This gate was built magnificently. A signboard of iron inscribed with 'Alknight' with a white wolf symbol that has three claw marks mounted gallantly above the gate.
"Young master, I'll finish the examination business for a bit." Jasia said when she got to the front of the gate.
"Good." Answer Theo briefly.
After saying so, Jasia walked over to the several Knight guards who were seen standing at the checkpoint. While Theo spent time joking and teasing Kalina who from earlier hugged her hand spoiled. So adorable.
However, after some time...
"Why so long?"
Theo feels the examination usually does not last this long, especially Jasia is not an outsider. He was a member of the branch house who lived in Alknight City. The examination should not last more than five minutes. Out of curiosity, he saw a checkpoint not far in front of them.
Theo scrunched his forehead when he saw Jasia like she was arguing with the guards at the checkpoint, feeling that something was wrong, he decided to bring Kalina over.
"What do you mean we can't enter the gate?"
When he was close to the checkpoint, Theo could hear Jasia yelling at the guard in front of him.
"Young lady, calm yourself! If you keep going like this, we have no choice but to arrest you and put you in a postal detention room!" The guard knight turned back to jasia.
"I told you the city is closed, no one can go in and out!" Said continue.
"Jasia, calm yourself for a second." Theo, who has now been on Jasia's side, tries to calm her down.
"Young master, they…"
"Already, let me take care of it from here." Theo's words cut out Jasia's words. Theo slightly pinched his forehead. This girl in front of him was truly too expulsive.
"Master, can you please explain what's going on?" Theo asked the two guards before him politely.
Seeing Theo's polite demeanor, the older-looking guard intended to explain. However, before he could explain, his younger comrade advanced ahead of him.
"Young man, why should we bother explaining it to you? We don't even know your identity, it could be that you're one of the family traitors from the rebel faction!" Shake the guard.
The older knight could only shake his head at his comrade's attitude, although he understood his comrade's worries a little, he only regretted his disrespect. After all the older guards had more life experience. From his experience, it is not wise to act rashly before being able to ascertain with certainty the identity of the person they are dealing with.
While Jasia who saw Theo was snapped by a lowly grade guard, it soon became emotional again.

"Jasia, calm down..!!" Theo calmed Jasia down.
Theo himself did not feel offended by the attitude of the young guard before him, his mental condition was much better than Jasia. He could understand this young man was just carrying out his duties. It is precisely Jasia's attitude that makes her head from earlier dizzy.
"I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself before. This leads to this misunderstanding. My name is Theodoric Alknight." Theo immediately introduced himself.

"YOU'RE SASSY, HOW DARE YOU SNAPPER THE YOUNG MASTER..!!!" Jasia snapped no less violently after attacking.
"How dare you attack me!! Guys catch this horde!"
All the guards who had just noticed, still feeling shocked by the sudden turn of events, they only regained their senses from the daydream when his friend shouted. This group of guards rushed forward and surrounded Theo and the others. Including the older guards earlier, he soon joined the rest of his comrades to besiege Theo's group. Attacking the gatekeeper was a serious offense, it could be considered an act of harassing the house, which doing so would be made a common enemy.
"Catch them..!!!" Shouted the old guard.
However, as soon as they advanced lunging several meters towards Theo's group, they could feel their bodies suddenly becoming heavy.every Knight guard immediately fell to his knees, kneeling down, just telling the old Knight who can still endure painstakingly holding his body so as not to fall on his knees.
"What's going on?" The old knight was shocked.
They were now looking towards Theo with horrified gazes. Theo was currently looking towards every Knight around him with a gaze full of sharpness. Very intimidating. Hugging Kalina in her arms.
"Calm down! Your actions scared this little girl!"
