Ch.438 - Relying on Xuan
Xiang Shin could now only rely on Xuan to fight against the Spirit Beast King.
Despite being in attack power, Xuan was able to surpass the opponent because his opponent was currently being severely injured. Yet in speed, Xuan lost far. Every single one of them was unable to hit the King Spirit Beast.
As a user of the lightning element, the King Spirit Beast possessed such incredible speed that it was able to deliver a powerful attack on Xuan.
“Hm! Rubbish!” The Spirit Beast King snorted.
He turned his head towards Xiang Shin and the others with a wide grin. He was already impatient to eat them all, especially the three people who had left him severely injured.
The King Spirit Beast was intending to attack them but again he felt a surge of sword energy. The Spirit Beast King's reflexes dodged the attack.
“What! He's alive!” The Spirit Beast King narrowed his eyes seeing Xuan dart out from the puff of dust.
“How can he survive not even get hurt after getting a crushing attack from me?” The Spirit Beast King did not know that Xuan was a spiritual puppet, not a living being.
“He doesn't seem to be easy to kill. Because he is so slow so won't be able to hold me back if you want to kill them all first!” The Spirit Beast King smirked.
He flew at high speed towards Xiang Shin and the others.
“KU KILL YOU ALL!”
“KYIIIKKK...!!”
The Spirit Beast King let out a loud screeching sound. Waves of lightning gushed from his mouth.
Xiang Shin widened his eyes, he immediately created a circle of portals in front. All the lightning bolts entered the circle of the portal.
The Spirit Beast King instantly flew upwards as a circle of portals appeared beside him, unleashing a bolt of lightning.
“EVERYTHING! QUICKLY GO FROM HERE!”
Xiang Shin shouted as he saw the Spirit Beast King flying back towards them. Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan also issued the same order. They all rushed to escape.
“Mr Shin, how about you?”
The best subordinates of Xiang Shin were still silent there. They hesitated to leave their leader.
“This is an order! Quickly go as far as possible! Trust me, I will defeat that creature!”
Wen Xing and Shi Sou nodded. They never see their leader lose so they will continue to believe in him. Xiao Zhou hesitated for a moment but he finally left.
“Although I said so, somehow we beat him?” Xiang Shin muttered inwardly, looking at the approaching Spirit Beast King.
Xiang Shin, Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan were still silent on the spot, not showing the slightest bit of hesitation on their faces.
As the King Spirit Beast reached a certain distance, Xiang Shin pointed his hand forward.
Xuan appeared right in front of the Spirit Beast King as Xiang Shin teleported Xuan there.
Xuan's sword slash was eyeing the King Spirit Beast's neck. But his movements are clear. In the eyes of the Spirit Beast King, Xuan was so slow that he could dodge his attacks easily.
Using claws layered in lightning energy, the King Spirit Beast smashed Xuan all the way to the ground. His sharp claws held back Xuan's movements.
“You don't seem to be a living being huh,” the King Spirit Beast started to realize that because its lightning element couldn't hurt Xuan.
To further confirm it, the King Spirit Beast strengthened the intensity of the lightning element in its claws. But it's still free.
“It turns out to be true. You're just a doll with a very hard body. It's free to fight you, so..” The Spirit Beast King used the lightning element to shackle Xuan's entire body, “I just need to restrain your movements then kill them first!”
The Spirit Beast King ignored Xuan, darting flying towards Xiang Shin, Xiang Shui and Xiang Lan.
“Share!” Xiang Shin made 3 portal circles.
Each of them entered into the circle of the portal until they are now separated into 3 different places.
“Cih! How to kill this creature?!” Xiang Shin clenched his hands as he exited the circle of portals.
He was now quite a distance away from the King Spirit Beast. He thought hard but there was no clear and effective plan. He was only thinking of stalling for time while continuously searching for a way to fight against the Spirit Beast King.
The Spirit Beast King shot towards Xiang Shin. Seeing that, Xiang Shui opened a circle of portals, heading towards the nearby Xuan.
While the Spirit Beast King was eyeing Xiang Shin, Xiang Shui would attempt to release Xuan since he was the only hope.
Xiang Shui prepared an attack, slashing his sword towards Xuan. He was not afraid of his attack regarding Xuan since the spiritual puppet would definitely not be injured. For sure he should as much as possible destroy the shackles of the lightning element that enveloped Xuan's body.
However, the shackles of the lightning element were able to unleash a lightning attack.
Xiang Shui's attack ended up being destroyed before hitting the target.
