Chapter 82 > Unpacking the Past

Both of Naya's eyes opened slowly. Then he squinted his eyes looking around him. "Why can I be here? Who brought me to my room? What is Mas Kivan?" Naya monologues while looking over here and there.

Chequek!

Suddenly the door of the room opened from the outside. Naya who heard the sound of the door immediately turned to the door and saw her husband carrying a meal with Naya's favorite juice, avocado. Instead of feeling happy, she was surprised by her husband's changing attitude like a chameleon.

"Hey, you're up apparently," Kivandra said by putting the tray on the nightstand.

"Hey," Naya greeted her husband briefly.

"Sit down, you have to eat first. From now on you have not eaten," said Kivandra by helping his wife to sit down.

"Mas, how am I in the room? Did you move my body?" naya's hand was staring at her husband.

"Yes. Now open your mouth, aaa ...." Kivandra started to feed

Naya nodded and opened her mouth. After a few mouthfuls, Kivandra suddenly asked something. "Darling, did you find out about that flirtatious guy to Mami and Grandpa?"

Naya simply smiled faintly without saying anything. It's true, he hopes Kivandra goes after him and tells him all about the past as well as his papi. But, unfortunately what he expected was not what he wanted.

"How, did your husband tell you anything?"

Naya shook her head. "No, Mommy. It seems like Mas Kivan doesn't want to tell his past to Naya" Naya replied with a sad look.

"Oh, it's okay. Maybe your husband isn't ready to tell you everything. She doesn't want you to suffer the same fate as Alice. Never mind, forget that. Let's go see the twins." Mami Thalia invites her daughter-in-law to meet the twins.

"Yes, Mommy." Naya smiled as she walked along with her mother-in-law.

In the room Kivandra ....

Kivandra was standing in front of the curtains with the phone she was holding. He looked confused while staring at the phone screen. He was confused between having to contact his papi or not. A few seconds later, he decided to contact Papi Nero. Shortly thereafter, the phone was picked up by Papi.

Phone connected!

"I warn you again. Stay away from my life! Never go near my family including my wife, Naya! If you dare to approach him then you will face me!" gertak Kivandra after the phone is connected.

"Hey, Son. I am your Papi. It's very rude to talk like this" Papi Nero said from behind the phone.

"You're not my Papa! My papa is long dead! Don't you ever think of me as your son! You remember well, Mr. Nero. I called you just wanted to warn you not to play games with me! Tutt!" hardik Kivandra with uncontrollable emotions and ended her phone call.

Kivandra's eyes were deep red with her fists so strong that her veins stood out. This indicates that this time the man who has two children is very angry. The shout made everyone in the house scatter even though the one called his wife's name. Kivandra did not care much about the people gathered. His eyes were busy looking for the whereabouts of his wife.

"What's up, kid? Why are you screaming like this?" asked Grandpa Liam who had just arrived.

"Where is Naya?"

"Why are you looking for your wife? What was? Did you guys fight?" again Kivandra's question was answered with a question also by the grandfather.

"Just tell me, where is Naya?"

Suddenly, Kivandra turned towards the source of the voice. Meanwhile, Naya walked over to the husband with a sharp look. "Down your voice, Mas. This is your grandfather, you must not raise your voice like this" Naya scolded her husband, whose red face was stifling with anger.

"You! Follow me!" Kivandra shines a sharp glare into Naya's eyes while pulling the wife's hand.

"Kivan! Where are you taking your wife? Remember, everything can be discussed!" grandpa Liam shouted for his voice to be heard by the two.

However, Grandpa Liam's voice was ignored by Kivandra. He focused on pulling his wife and taking her to the car. "Lake in!" kivandra ordered after she opened the car door.

"Where are we going, Mom?" ask Naya before she gets in the car.

"Lake in!" Kivandra.

Reflek, Naya closed her eyes while holding her heart. She was really surprised and did not expect if her husband dared to yell at her like that. Though before, he never snapped her mad and regretful whatever she was.

With her heart a little sore, Naya was forced to get in the car without saying anything. After that, Kivandra circled the car and entered through a different door. He sat on the steering wheel and next to his wife.

On the way, they fell silent without any chatter. Naya stared at the window of the car. While Kivandra focused on driving with an expression that still looked angry.

A few minutes later, they arrived at a five-star hotel. Both of them got out of the car at the same time. Unlike Kivandra, Naya is confused.

'What does this mean? Why did Mas Kivan take me to the hotel?' naya wondered.

"Let's go in." Kivandra again pulls Naya into the hotel in front of her.

Although Naya was eager to ask, but she undoed her intentions. Because he felt this was not the right time to ask. See, her husband's reaction is still the same as at home. Kivandra still showed her frustration. At the moment Naya can only follow her husband without questioning the reason.

"You wait here!" kivandra ordered his wife to wait.

Naya nodded. Then, Kivandra walked towards the receptionist and spoke briefly. Naya could only watch it without knowing what her husband was talking about with the receptionist. Then, a few minutes later, Kivandra picked up an id card. The id card is a tool to enter the hotel room by attaching it to the sensor.

Naya increasingly does not understand what the meaning of her husband's actions. Why he took the id card. 'Did Mas Kivan book a hotel room? But, what for?' naya wondered again.

Without realizing it, her husband was next to her. "What are you thinking?" asked Kivandra who had noticed his wife who was daydreaming.

"I know what you want to ask. You better come with me and all your questions will be answered there," explained Kivandra while taking Naya to one of the rooms.

The door of the room opened wide and entered Kivandra and Naya. Naya looked around the room, while Kivandra locked the door first. After that Kivandra sat on the bed while looking at the wife who was still flirting over here and there.

"Mas, he said all the answers to my questions are here. But where?" ask Naya silly.

"Silly!" kivandra Ledek. "If you want to know the answer, you sit with me and listen to me" Kivandra continued by patting the bed for Naya to sit on.

With her pursed lips, she walked up to her husband and sat down beside him. Kivandra held onto Naya's shoulder while looking at her quite fixedly. Likewise with Naya, she also looked at her husband with the same gaze.

"You said you wanted to know about Mr. Nero? Mami explained it to you. What else do I have to explain to you?"

"I want to know from my husband's own mouth. Is that wrong?"

Kivandra let out a long breath. "All right, I'll explain all my past. But, you have to promise me one thing," Kivandra said with teary eyes.

"What promise is that, Mom?"

"Promise not to betray me." Kivandra thrusts her little finger.

"I promise that until any time and until death I will never betray you" he said with eyes that showed honesty with his fingers intertwined with the fingers of the husband.

"I hope you never renege on that promise. And yes, do you know, the reason I brought me to this room other than to tell you your answer?"

Quickly, Naya shook her head in a sign she didn't know. "This is the room where I almost took Alice's life" Kivandra replied with honesty.

Naya swallowed her saliva as soon as she heard the truth Kivandra said. "Mm-mas is planning to kill Alice?" asked Naya stammeredly.

"Yup. But, it didn't work. You know, why would I go that far and that far?"

Again Naya shook her head. "Because he betrayed me by sleeping with my Papi, NERO!" Kivandra explained it in a firm tone.
