Sheet 25: Wise Quotes

“I just happen to love the exposure and the old-fashioned poems, Madam,” Ash said.

Ash looked up at the sky that was only filled with stars, there was no moon there. ‘It turns out that exposure and poems can make my soul feel calm. Madam... where did he know that I read ancient expositions and poems?’

“You have a big heart through exposure and poetry, do you not know?”

Ash shook his head. “I didn't know that everything could be so closely related. Is there a logical explanation for this?”

“Because it relates to yourself, of course you can feel that the relationship is very close.” Zinn kept walking. They are now outside the Castleton Palace. “If you are feeling upset, think of an exposure that can make you calm.”

Ash thought for a while, before finally bending his body to pay respect to Zinn. “Thank you for your advice. I will remember it always.”

Zinn nodded gracefully. Of the three Raven siblings, Ash is the most sentimental and melancholic person, the owner of the pink eye bead knows about it. He concluded that Ash saw many expositions, poems, and perhaps, ancient stories. The trap didn't miss at all.

“If the enemy is already besieging and your soldiers are not enough, what will you do? Surrender to the situation or continue to fight the enemy even though the situation looks impossible?” ask Zinn.

The question was clearly intended for the logistician among the three Ravens, Fable.

Fable exhaled. In fact, it was not difficult for him to answer the question in a fraudulent manner: not choosing between the two answers. But somehow he felt Zinn's question was so interesting that he thought about it in earnest.

Finally Fable replied, “If surrendering to the enemy is the road to death, then it is better to fight it out. After all, giving up or not is equally a path to death.”

“Same as when you were in a predicament,” said Zinn. “If you just give up without trying, you will never know the way you use will work or not. If you believe the impossible can be solved even though it takes a long time, then you do not need to fear the coming failure. Failure is to try again. If there is still a glimmer of hope, use it as well as possible.”

Fable closed his eyes permeating every word of Zinn. ‘True too. I always think badly before I try, causing me to not dare to try at all. I've missed how many chances?’

“I already understand. Thank you for directing me and making me feel confident, Mrs.” Fable lowered his head, giving Zinn some respect.

Slate was very nervous when it almost reached its turn. He continued to watch Zinn's shadow continue to step away from him.

“No need to be nervous, nor need to chase after someone's shadow. You are yourself, Young Master Slate.”

Despite not seeing, Zinn still knew what Slate was doing back there. The owner of the pink eye bead smiled when he heard the smallest Raven exhale.

Nectarine and Ceshapeake illuminate the path that Zinn and the Ravens are traveling. At midnight, no one came out of their huts. People were already sleeping inside their respective sleeping flowers.

“I...” Slate was confused as to what to answer. He actually did not want to live in the shadows of others. Only, he was too afraid of being hated.

“What is your reason for fear of being shunned by others?” Zinn seemed to be able to read the minds of others. Not a single one of his guesses missed as he spoke. “If that is your reason, I'll remind you how good it would be if you were yourself. Shadow, they don't need to be searched because they will never come close, they will step away from anyone. Shadows, they don't need to wait because they will never stop stepping, you will never be able to be them.”

“I am the weakest of my three brothers,” Slate said. He bit his lower lip and played his fingers. “Daddy often gives me penalties because my sheet and my ability can not be compared with Fable, let alone Ash.”

Ash and Fable have no intention of cutting off their adoptive sister's speech. They want to know Slate's heart. All this time, Slate didn't want to be open about her feelings for them. Even when scolded, Slate will only shut up or reply with a smile.

“Do you know that as a family your sister is very worried about you?”

Slate never thought about it. He was often scolded for being careless, but he never fought those who were angry with him. Unknowingly, he became holding a grudge that he himself was not aware of.

“In the hope will Ananda handheld. In asa will Ananda get. In silence will Ananda hope. Just wishful thinking, only hope. A mere imagination, a mere pseudo-shadow,” said Zinn. “Be yourself, Young Master Slate Midnight Raven. You are stronger and stronger than you think. Learn to have confidence like Young Master Ash and learn to develop strategies like Young Master Fable, if you admire them. But, keep in mind that you can't be them forever. Even Devils can sometimes have a heart more sacred than Angels.”

Slate could see how beautiful a Zinnia Pramidita Ganache was from back there. ‘Finally I know the reason Your Majesty chose Madam.’

The three Raven siblings finally saw the soul beauty that Zinn possessed. Nectarine and Ceshapeake surrounded their Master, dramatizing the atmosphere.

“I believe that children are part of the future of all parents. So, I am very happy to be able to teach you properly and to be able to give you the confidence to guide us to be better. Everyone has an advantage in themselves, I finally know why my Grandpa Buyut-Buyut taught his descendants to have at least a bit of a sense of arrogance,” Zinn murmured to himself.

‘I don't really remember about my past life. But since my Majesty and I have been reunited, it means that we have the thread of soul mate, Zinn's inner’.

Zinn and the three Ravens had already walked so far away from Castleton Palace. It's time for them to come back.

“It's time we came back. The three of you have already shown incredible achievement today,” said Zinn, smiling at the three Raven brothers. “Tomorrow we must carry out a big task. Please help, Young Masters.”

Zinn lowered his head.

"Wouldn't it be rude for the Madam to give this kind of respect? We are happy to assist you and Your Majesty. Don't be too polite to us, ma'am. Anyway, this is a favor."
