138. Between Revenge and Desire

Ilena comes to the hospital with Dharma who is always with her. Ilena felt happier after revealing each other's feelings.

Slowly but surely, Ilena will tread on her new life with Dharma. He believes that Dharma is the right person for him.

Ilena arrived in front of the intensive room and saw White checking Lydia's condition. The transparent glass room made Ilena able to see the patient inside.

His eyes were fixed on Red who was also still closed.

"Ilena, I want to buy a drink first" said Dharma and was taken by the girl.

Ilena sat on the long bench of the hospital. He opened his diary and wrote the story of today.

Yes, Ilena is now back to her original routine which is very fond of writing in her diary. He said that the trauma he suffered is now gradually improving thanks to the presence of Dharma at his side.

Ilena was no longer afraid to be touched and it was because of Dharma. Maybe Ilena has started to fall in love with that guy.

Someone called his nickname while still working at Red's club.

"Blue?" Ilena looked up and closed her diary.

Ilena is surprised that Red has a younger sister. And she's Blue's wife now.

"You came to see my brother?" ask Blue.

"No! He's coming for his aunt!" firmly a man from behind Ilena. He is Dharma.

"Stevens?" Blue rounded his eyes.

"Yeah, it's me. I am Ilena's husband." Dharma said.

"Su-husband? How could? Then who were you calling? Ilena? Is that your real name Baby?"

Ilena nodded.

"The world is narrow, Blue. As far as any foot goes, it turns out that our soul mate is in plain sight" said Dharma by embracing the waist of the friendly Ilena.

"Darling, let's sit down!" Dharma asked Ilena to sit back down.

Yoona noticed Ilena's movements carrying a diary. Yoona whispered something to Blue.

"Huh?! Really true?" Blue glared in disbelief. Yoona reassured.

Blue looked at Ilena who was chatting with Dharma. Blue also still can't believe that her brother's old friend who got Ilena's love.

White exits the intensive room and meets Blue as well as Yoona. White shook his head if there was still no response from Red's condition.

"Patience!" White patted Blue on the shoulder and then passed.

"Wait, White! I have something to ask you. Can we talk?" said Blue.

White nodded then asked the two men to follow him behind White then headed for his room.

"What do you want to talk about?" white asked without feeling stale.

"Baby.. I mean, Ilena, is she a girl from Red's past?" ask Blue.

White sighed. He promised himself not to tell Red or anyone. Even Ilena herself did not know.

"What makes you think that?"

"Daily book!" sahut Yoona fast.

"He had a diary. I don't know why I feel it's him! I'm sure you'll know something until you take the girl away." Yoona said.

"While all this is true, it is of no use anymore. Ilena is married. So, you guys don't disturb the household." White insisted.

"Please help us!" pinta Yoona's.

"I'm sure he can get my brother to reopen his eyes!" yoona said with a sob.

"No! Ilena is not a girl from Red's past!" strong White. "If there's nothing else you want to talk about, please come out! I have to get back to work!"

Blue and Yoona walked out of White's room feeling disappointed. Meanwhile, Dharma steals White's conversation with Blue and Yoona.

Dharma knocked on the door and entered White's room.

"You! What's up?" asked White in wonder.

"I heard everything!"

White looked at Dharma. "Then?"

"Don't Ilena know if she and Red..."

"Don't be crazy, Steven! You're Ilena's husband. Why is Ilena still thinking about her past? After all, Ilena hated Red so much for ruining her life and future!"

Dharma was silent for a moment. Actually he wanted Ilena to forget about Red completely. But it still feels difficult because there is an unfinished past between them.

White looked at Dharma. What Dharma says has a point, too. Red and Ilena are bound by a past that will never end because it never begins. But, if they started it now and also ended it now, it might be the best thing for both of them.

"Alright, Steve. If you think this is a good thing, then do it!" broken White.

One month later,

Ilena walked by the beach with the sound of waves that were enough to make her fall asleep. Ilena saw that there was someone at the end of there waiting for her.

Yes, Ilena did want to meet that person. He was sitting looking at the beach in the afternoon.

Ilena started to approach. And the arrival of Ilena was of course known to the person who was waiting for her.

"I don't think you're coming" said the man.

"No! I must have come. Shouldn't we finish everything?" reply Ilena.

The man pressed the button on his wheelchair and faced Ilena.

"I'm sorry... I've been waiting all this time to be able to apologize to you."

Ilena fell silent.

"So many wounds I've inflicted on you, Ilena. The curse I have had on you my whole life. Even now I can no longer walk as I used to."

"I'm sorry" said Ilena.

"Ilena, are you willing to forgive me? I'll say it a thousand times or a million times so you'll forgive me!"

Ilena was silent again.

"I... I told you that I would never forgive you. But there is no point in holding a grudge. There's no point in all these years I've suffered wanting to avenge what you've done to me. I won't be that selfish, Red."

Yeah, that guy is Red. The man who used to be so dazzling with the gaze of his eagle, now could only sit helplessly on his wheelchair.

"Forget it all, Red. I've forgiven you. Start your life from the beginning, because I've also started a new life."

Red nodded in understanding.

"Thank you, Purple. You have taught me many lessons in life. Here, I'll give it back to you!"

Red handed over Ilena's diary that Selena had taken.

Ilena's eyes warmed up. The diary had not been seen for a long time. Ilena's hand stretched out and received the diary.

"I'm leaving. Take care, Red!"

Ilena turned around and stepped away leaving Red. He walked toward someone who had been waiting faithfully for him.

He is Dharma. The future of Ilena. Dharma hugged Ilena.

"Done! It's all done!" dharma said by holding Ilena tightly.

Dharma parsed his embrace and wiped away Ilena's tears.

"After this we will always be happy!" dharma then kissed Ilena's lips.

While Red only held onto his chest that hurt when he saw Ilena now had been owned by someone else. It was his fault. He alone made Ilena stay away and leave.

There is no point in regret, for it will never happen again.
