Xi Chen who was originally silent, finally laughed out loud. "What did you say, Miss? You said you'd help Xi Wei get revenge? Jialing had expected you to say that, but I really didn't expect that you would say it directly like this" he said.

"What...what's wrong with my statement?!" ying Yue asked. He certainly did not accept that he was laughed at just because the word "wants to help Xi Wei get revenge".

"You sure you can help Xi Wei get revenge? You should know another risk, son," Jialing warned Ying Yue about what the Great Princess would have to face if she really wanted to help Xi Wei.

"I'm not the one who'll just talk nonsense, ma'am. If I have decided to do something, then I will still do it, even though I know I will face a very big risk myself" Ying Yue said.

"That's not the only problem!" jialing. She obviously did not want Ying Yue to help Xi Wei avenge on behalf of her two parents, aka herself and Xi Chen herself.

"I know what the Madam is worried about," Ying Yue debated. "I know Madam is worried about how I am doing when I have managed to help Big Brother Xi Wei take revenge against my own Father. My biological mother, the late Consort Li, she was one of the victims of the Empress's violence and Father's ignorance. It can be said that I hold grudges against the Emperor and the Empress."

Jialing was silent for a while. Xi Chen himself closed his eyes and probably fell asleep. They both seemed to be discussing something within them. Make telepathy.

In the end, Jialing said, "This one Great Lord and I will not stand in your way and Xi Wei. But, know one thing, Son: if you feel that it is not worth doing and you are on a different path in the end, let you do what you both believe. Being confronted in a reasonable way is okay. Then we'll take our leave."

Ying Yue could see Xi Chen and Jialing slowly disappearing from his sight. He lowered his head and the Dream Mirror he came to threw him out of there.

Ying Yue woke up and was shocked to see Gaohei was staring intensely at her. He got up from his sleep and looked at Gaohei, then asked, "You've come again. Did Big Brother Xi Wei tell you to come here?"

Gaohei nodded his head in "yes" response".

"Did you bring a letter from Big Brother Xi Wei for me?"

Gaohei turned his head quickly—from one hundred and eighty degrees to back to normal—and it was a little creepy to make Ying Yue feel the horror of her own.

"Then, what are you coming back for? Did you get an order from Xi Wei to convey something to me?"

Gaohei was silent for a moment, probably thinking about something—according to Ying Yue. Shortly after, he nodded his head.

"Although you are a great owl, you can understand human language and give answers, but you are still an owl. I can't guess all your language. Big Brother Xi Wei should have given me a letter as a picture of his order."

Gaohei immediately turned his head quickly back. Not as a "no" answer, nor was it because he was on a prank and wanted to prank Ying Yue. It was just that he was telling Ying Yue that he should not do that.

Ying Yue asked, "Why can't I do that?" He seemed to understand what Gaohei was saying.

Gaohei raised his beak slightly and sharpened his eyes. He was saying to Ying Yue that Xi Wei would be angry with him if the Great Princess did that.

And, as if Ying Yue really knew what Gaohei was talking about, she laughed lightly, then said, "You're afraid of being scolded by Big Brother Xi Wei? I don't think he's going to get mad at you just for a little bit of trouble. He doesn't seem to be an angry person."

"Yes, okay, okay. So, what do you want to tell me, Gaohei?"

Gaohei slightly tilted his head. He was at a loss as to how to properly apologize towards Ying Yue. Then, the intelligent forest owl finally found the right way.

Gaohei flew towards the top of the wooden portable cabinet that Ying Yue opened last night. He showed the movement of opening and closing the closet, then followed by a movement of thrusting something.

Ying Yue finally found out that Gaohei wanted to apologize to him for ignoring his kindness to the expensive wheat seeds given, but was rejected by the forest owl.

Ying Yue laughed lightly, then said, "It's okay. I accept your apology. I should've been smarter and didn't give parrot food to you. I just realized that you're an owl."

Gaohei's face immediately pouted as Ying Yue said that she had just realized she was an owl.

"Your!" Gaohei chirped in a high tone, then flew through the open window door of Ying Yue's room. He was upset because neither his master, nor his partner was equally annoying to him.

Ying Yue had not just written a letter to Xi Wei, but Gaohei had already flown in. He shouted loudly, "Gaohei! You back!"

His shout was until heard by General Wang Wanqian who was on duty and patrolling around the Palace. He immediately approached Ying Yue's room and knocked on the door.

"Mr Princess? Princess Sir…? Are you okay?" ask Wanqian.

Ying Yue who heard the knock on her door and the voice of the Great General instantly opened the door of the room. He could see that there were many people standing straight at the door of his room. He was a little surprised by it.

"What's wrong?" asked Ying Yue.

Wanqian immediately stood up straight and said, "I heard you shout, Your Majesty. That's why I came here to make sure you're okay."

"I'm fine, Great General. But, there are things that I want to ask you," Ying Yue said. "Please come in, General."

"Please, Princess."

Xi Wei had to admit that Maorong cuisine was as good as cooking from the hands of a woman. He had only eaten dishes like this for the first time, except at Wei Xiangheng's Luqing and Wufalou Academy.

"Did Xi Wei dislike the dishes I made?" maorong asked with a worried face expression. Worried that the young man in brown skin will not like it.

"It's so good, Uncle!"
