Chapter 44: Pick up My Wife

"Airin!!" Call Daniel by touching his shoulder.

"W-what if Mr. Adnan finds out I'm pregnant?! He wouldn't want to divorce me. What if S-..."

Airin's speech came to a halt as Daniel's hands gripped gently on both shoulders.

"Hey, Relax! Don't think. You can't have much of a thought. Remember that! There's another life in you." Daniel tries to understand.

"But I'm afraid if he finds out."

"We'll hide this until you're really ready to tell him. Don't be afraid, many love you and will protect you."

Airin nodded lethargicly, then lowered his head staring at his still flat stomach and stroked it slowly.

Finally Airin came out of his room and went down the stairs to the kitchen.

"Sister Airin, eat first, huh?! You haven't eaten since, you've even spit out lunch." Jasmine said in the kitchen as well.

Airin nodded, then Jasmine picked up the plate and served the food from the table that the aunt had prepared before the Doctor came.

"Jasmine, you accompany Airin. I'll talk to Zemin." Daniel went down the stairs to the outside.

"Yes Brother..." Reply Jasmine shouted.

Tomorrow Day...

Airin experienced morning sickness which made him nauseous and vomiting.

Yuck.. Hoick.. Hoick..

Patently, Daniel helps massage the soft nape of Airin to make it feel more comfortable.

"I KNOW YOU GUYS PURPOSELY HID AIRIN FROM ME. TELL ME WHERE Airin IS?!! SHE'S STILL MY WIFE. I DESERVE HIM. NOT YOU!!"

"I told you, I don't know. Why don't you look for it somewhere else?! I'm not here to fight, Adnan." Answer Kenzo.

"I KNOW YOU'RE IN A CONSPIRACY WITH Daniel TO TAKE Airin AWAY. DON'T EVER INTERFERE, KENZO. THIS IS MY HOUSEHOLD."

"You're a hypocrite, Adnan. When she's sincere with you, you've hurt her, destroyed her, for the sake of another woman. And now, look!! By the time you've betrayed your lover and your wife is tired of it all. He wants to get away from you, you're getting in the way. Karma is real!" Kenzo's reading strengthened his jaw to anger.

Then, say back...

"Just enjoy the results you reap. Isn't this what you expected?! You never even loved your wife. Though our intention is good to bring you closer and marry a woman whose origins are clear. What father and mother lack you, if they find out, they are the ones who are most disappointed because you do not appreciate the gift. I'll help Dario, Airin's brother take care of your divorce papers with Airin."

"Oh, Miss Airin why are you here? Miss needs anything? Let me prepare." Said the waiter at Daniel's.

Aunty helped get the water in a glass and gave it to Airin.

Then, Bibi again took the water in a bottle to take to Airin's room.

"Should Miss Airin call me, I can get it. You don't have to bother coming here, I'm afraid something's happened to Miss."

Zemin who regained his senses first, understood Airin's anxiety as the woman stepped back. Zemin was immediately moved to stand in front of Airin, carrying the woman behind his back.

"Mr Adnan, what's up here? Daniel's in his office, you can go there if it's important."

"I want to pick up my wife..." Adnan answered quickly approaching the two.

"STAY AT YOUR PLACE, MISTER!! Don't come any closer!!" He shouted Zemin put up a body for Airin when Adnan just stepped up to approach him.

"Don't interfere, Mr. Zemin. Airin, let's go home!! I'm sorry. I've been looking for you for a long time."

Airin. The grip on Zemin's backcoat tightened and his body trembled violently. Zemin glanced at Airin from behind his shoulder.

"He doesn't want to, sir. You better go home. Let your wife calm down for a while." Zemin.

Adnan. He stepped back, but stopped when Airin was drunk and put his body on Zemin's back.

Zemin gently rubbed the back of Airin's hand that was on her waist. The woman's hands were cold.

"Mr Adnan, you scared him. Go home! Let your wife calm down first. You can come back another day."

"No. I'll bring-..."

"Listen to me, or Airin will hate you even more, Mr. Adnan!!" Shouted Zemin was already annoyed because Adnan continued to rebel.

Adnan looked at his wife behind Zemin's back, then let out a long sigh.

"alright. I'm gonna go. I'll be back later. Please take care of him!" Adnan left Daniel's house.
