Love, Maybe
Chapter 32's

.......

“Jane, I'm sorry. I really didn't mean to offend you. But you can't cook, can you?”

“Jane, even if you can't cook, but I never regret choosing you to be my wife. So, I'm sorry, huh?”

“Sa-honey.... ah, no, no. Call dear impressed very old, we're just married four months.”

This young man named Felix continued to roar on a pot containing crab soup that was exploding in front of him. The side of his hand that was not holding the spoon of soup raised rattled his black hair in frustration.

Yup, Felix is currently busy practicing persuading Jane who is snacking while cooking crab soup as his wife wishes.

This morning, the two of them were in a good mood and spent some time exercising together. After that they decided to stop by the traditional market to buy ingredients to cook crab soup because Jane who suddenly said she wanted to eat the food.

But the situation became chaotic when the two were busy choosing onions which is their favorite food ingredient. Felix misspoke and offended Jane. As a result Felix inevitably had to go home using a taxi while carrying his groceries because Jane who actually went to take her car home.

But it seems Jane also just arrived when Felix arrived at the apartment earlier. Because Papa had sent him a message, asking why only Jane had come to pick Aiden up to his residence, with a facial expression that looks upset and angry too. And Felix's feelings are that his wife has been in Aiden's room since Felix hasn't returned until he's almost done struggling with his cooking in the kitchen today.

A whistle-like sound coming from the teapot hole indicates the water inside was boiling to disperse the daydreams of Felix. He stopped shuffling his hair and switched off the stove.

Then Felix poured boiling water from the teapot into a stainless bowl containing several pieces of chicken meat. After a while, he took the bowl to the dishwasher and threw away the water, before finally putting the chicken pieces into a pot containing crab soup.

The fragrant aroma of crab soup mixed with chicken broth was pouring out to the second floor, making anyone would definitely feel their stomach churned while kissing the fragrance. Jane can smell the soup, which comes in from the cracks in Aiden's room door that she doesn't close. But unfortunately he was too prestige to approach the source of the aroma because he was still upset with Felix's remarks when in the market earlier.

After arranging small bowls and chopsticks and spoons on the dining table, Felix brought a pot of soup that was still steaming and placed it in the middle of the table.

Releasing the apron attached to his body, Felix turned his head towards the stairs. He hesitated to call Jane down. What if his wife is still angry? Should Felix let Jane be alone first? But Jane had not eaten anything other than the bread she had eaten this morning. So with the last fact that Felix was determined to rise to the top. The mouth may be locked, but the stomach cannot lie, right? However, just as Felix's leg stepped on the first rung of the stairs, his apartment bell rang.

For a few seconds, Felix worried between continuing the step up or turning to open the door for uninvited guests who came at the wrong time. But finally he chose the second option because the sound of Aiden's room door was open. Maybe Jane finally had to go out because Felix did not open the door even though the bell sounded deafening.

Felix held the doorknob and immediately opened it.

“Kakaaaak!”

Along with the door that opened, a girl immediately hugged Felix, accompanied by a loud cry that was very familiar. Who else would have acted that way to Felix if not Kaylee, his little sister.

“Kaylee, don't like suddenly hugging like this dong,” scolds Felix while releasing a hug Kaylee. In sensitive moments like this who knows it would be fatal if Jane saw him. The problem may become more complicated.

Kaylee pursed her lips, but her expression returned as she looked at the figure standing behind Felix.

“Oh, Kaylee came?” ask Jane who's not far behind Felix.

“Sister Jane!” Kaylee passed Felix just like that and went straight to Jane. Even Kaylee was unshakably hugging Jane. While the hugged can only stand rigidly in place, not used to it. For a moment Felix smiled looking at him, before then a male voice interrupted him.

Felix turned back to the door and found Daniel standing there holding a large paper bag in his hand.

“Daniel? You came with Kaylee?” felix Spontas said, inviting the young man in. While Kaylee himself had already walked to the living room while holding Jane's arm.

“I asked Brother Daniel to accompany me gift shopping for Aiden,” said Kaylee who heard Felix's question from the living room.

Arriving in the living room, the smell of soup coming from the dining table in the corner of the room immediately visited his fourth sense of smell.

“Kakak just finished cooking?” kaylee asked, staring at Jane.

Jane shook her head slowly and smiled awkwardly. “Not me, Felix cooked earlier.”

“You two haven't had lunch, have you?” felix asks Kaylee to distract her before the boy asks Jane more.

“But dong. Well, I haven't eaten brother's cooking in a long time. What cooking sister?” with the spirit of Kaylee walked over to the dining table that was enough to accommodate the four people. However, his eyes instantly widened as he looked at what was presented on the dining table.

Kaylee turned her face to Felix. “Kakak will eat this too?” ask her with a slightly raised tone while pointing at the large white pot, making Jane stare in the direction Kaylee pointed to and become wondering. Felix looks like he's nodding.

“Are you crazy? Brother is allergic to crabs,” exclaimed Kaylee while staring at Felix with a frown.

“Hah?” Jane's reflexes turned to Felix. His originally flat face now looked worried.

“Don't overdo it so, Kay. I have eaten crabs quite often, and my allergies are not that bad,” Felix said casually.

“T-but Felix–”

“Not to worry, Jane. It's not gonna be anything. If my body is uncomfortable, I will stop eating. I can take care of myself, and all this time it's been fine. No need to listen to the furore of this one boy,” Felix interrupted with a smile, trying to convince Jane.

“Felix is like that, he will never listen. If we forbid him to eat, he will still eat it, ” Daniel who was just silent now raise his voice. Felix smiled faintly at Daniel's words and began to pull up the chair and allow everyone there to sit down.

Jane sat herself down while continuing to look at Felix with a worried look that had not disappeared from her beautiful face. Likewise with Kaylee who was also still staring at Felix with a pouting expression.

Once again Daniel glanced at the two girls in front of him, then he spoke again with a smile to ease their worries. “Take it easy. Felix has eaten crab several times with me and others, and the proof is that he is still healthy until now, right?”

“You two heard what Daniel said. Don't think too much, let's eat.”
