Chapter 24. Unexpected Event

Felix enters a secret room while carrying a tray of food. A man sitting in a chair with his hands tied glanced at the door as Felix walked in with Queen Roseline.

"It's eat. Don't waste any more food." Felix said coldly.

"Why don't you just kill me? You won't get anything by keeping me here." Said the man sniffed.

Queen Roseline leaned her lips, then sat down before the man.

"Why do you want to die, Victor? Aren't you thinking about the fate of your wife and son?" Ask Queen Roseline.

The man named Victor smiled blandly.

"Maybe they are lifeless now, because I have failed to kill you and also committed suicide. So let alone living in this world. You better give me poison." Victor.

"Your mind is very narrow." Said Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline gestured with her hand to Felix, and Felix came out. Soon Felix reentered, but he was not alone. There was a woman and a 3-year-old little girl who were in her carriage walking behind Felix.

"Avictor!" Call the woman.

Victor raised his head when he heard the voice of the woman he loved so much.

"Glam!" Victor's Law.

Victor tears his eyes when he sees his wife, Elsa and their son, Tatiana, alive.

"You guys are alive?"

"Yes, we're still alive Victor. All thanks to the help of the Queen and Mr. Felix. They saved me from those criminals. Those criminals burned down our house while Tatiana and I were in it." Elsa answered with tears.

Victor was stunned and looked at Queen Roseline in disbelief.

"Not only that, Her Majesty the Queen has also cured the illness that Tatiana had been suffering from all this time. Tatiana's body is now completely healed." Added Elsa.

Felix immediately untied Victor's hand. Victor immediately got up from his seat and knelt before Queen Roseline.

Elsa knelt down beside her husband. Tatiana showed off her beautiful smile to Queen Roseline.

"If I had wanted to punish you, I would have lost your life. Don't you want to hug your wife and child?" Ask Queen Roseline.

Victor wiped away his tears and immediately hugged Elsa and her daughter, Tatiana. Queen Roseline stood up from her seat.

"You'll have to finish your meal before you get your punishment from me." Queen Roseline said coldly.

Queen Roseline and Felix immediately walked out of the room to make room for Victor and his family.

"Why can you do such a stupid and evil thing, Victor? How dare you want to kill Her Majesty the Queen!" Said Elsa with her angry face.

"I was forced to accept this dangerous job in order to earn money for the treatment of our daughter Tatiana." Victor replied as he continued to cry.

"I am so sorry and ashamed of you. I'm sorry Elsa, because you have to have the husband of a criminal like me."

"His Majesty the Queen is a generous woman. He was nothing like the rumors that had been circulating all along. Do you know my husband? Queen Roseline herself has been treating our daughter's illness. The queen said Tatiana had smallpox, so her body had a high fever and there were patches all over her body. Victor felt more guilty. Victor was ready to accept all the punishment Queen Roseline would give him.

"That's sweet. Hmmmm... I want to make fruit." Mumbled.

Queen Roseline picked some apples vigorously.

"What are you doing up there, Queen?"

There was a scream from under the tree that made Queen Roseline surprised. Queen Roseline slipped and lost her balance.

"Aarrgghh!" Shouted Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline closed her eyes when she realized she was about to fall to the ground. But he felt his body drift.

"Are you okay, Queen? Are you hurt?"

Queen Roseline immediately opened her eyes upon hearing King Alec's voice. Queen Roseline widened her eyes when she realized she was in King Alec's arms. As Queen Roseline fell from the tree, King Alec swiftly caught her body. Queen Roseline could inhale the masculine scent of King Alec's body and feel King Alec's warm breath.

"Queen?" Call King Alec who broke Queen Roseline's daydream.

Queen Roseline immediately moved and attempted to descend making King Alec shocked and lost his balance. The two fell to the ground with the position of Queen Roseline's body directly above King Alec's body. Marquess Filan, the servant and guard who were there, immediately turned their bodies around.

Queen Roseline widened her eyes when she realized her unworthy position. Queen Roseline immediately got up, but fatefully she stepped on her own dress so that her body fell down again on the body of King Alec.

Queen Roseline's lips landed on the lower right cheek and touched the tip of King Alec's lips. The two widened their eyes. Enraged and embarrassed, Queen Roseline got up and stood up slowly, tidying up her dress. King Alec also stood up with his heart pounding. King Alec tried to remain calm.

"Don't Your Majesty see for myself if I'm picking apples." Queen Roseline answered.

Queen Roseline looked at King Alec sharply.

Queen Roseline ignored King Alec's apology and picked up the apple she had picked. As the Queen was about to waltz away, King Alec stopped her by pulling his arm.

Queen Roseline immediately pulled her arm again. "Hamba has forgiven His Majesty. Thank you for capturing the body of the servant so that the servant does not fall to the ground. I beg you to let yourself go." Said Queen Roseline coldly and stepped her feet.

"What exactly have I done wrong with the Queen? Why do you look so upset at me?" Shouted King Alec.

Queen Roseline stopped her steps and turned around.

"Because of Your Majesty, I can't go in and out of the palace as I please." Queen Roseline.

Queen Roseline immediately left King Alec who was still silently glued. Queen Roseline made a fruit ramjak with her dark aura. Queen Roseline accidentally put a lot of chili into her spice, making Marie round her eyes. But Marie did not dare to speak. After the fruit is finished, Queen Roseline takes him to the room and immediately spends it to vent the frustration he is feeling.
