HH CHAPTER 53 - Threats
Megan was silent for a moment, her eyes looking at the face of Theo who was in front of her with a glare.
Then he stretched out one hand to stroke the young man's cheek.
"Little kids like you don't need to know and aren't we separated?"
"Why are you following me and meddling with my business? Everything I do, it has nothing to do with you," Megan began to spout out her scathing words.
Theo was not offended, he smiled while holding Megan's wrist that rubbed her cheek.
"Even though we've only known him for the past two months, I know what kind of person he is, so I'm going to assume that he's currently possessed by demons," said Theo who would do anything for his wife. "If the demon's gone, I'm ready to take brother back!"
"Maybe it is this time, I don't need to know big brother's business, so I won't ask anymore because I believe in big brother!"
Megan hurriedly moved her hands away, she flipped over and climbed onto the bed to lie on her back to Theo. He was hiding his tears that were about to fall.
"Sister Tia will be here soon so I'll go home, I'll get out of my sister's apartment, I can be a husband like my sister, so hurry up and get the demon out," pamit Theo's. He holds everything back because he still hopes his relationship with Megan will return to the way it was.
There was no answer from Megan but from the back of his wife's trembling, Theo was sure that Megan was crying.
Regardless of what she had in mind, Theo still could not guess.
The young man came out of the room and waited for Tia to come, he had not calmed down that Megan was still alone.
"Theo.." call Tia who just arrived.
Theo approached the manager and gave Megan a passcard. "Silver doesn't seem to be feeling well, he was vomiting a lot. So, please take care of my wife, I'm going home!"
Tia will wait for the right time to tell Theo, she also needs to know what Megan is hiding from her.
"Just calm down, my work is indeed taking care of that troublesome Princess master," Tia replied.
"And about that music producer I'm not messing around, he's seen your viral video!"
Theo nodded, he was going to take that golden opportunity. He can definitely be a successful person, right Megan said there's no way he'll forever be a janitor.
That very night, Theo returned by renting a car because it was not possible to use the train anymore.
While Tia came to Megan who was already asleep at the time. From the corner of her wet eyes, Tia guessed Megan had finished crying.
"What are you really thinking?" muttered the woman.
Tia lies down next to Megan and tries to close her eyes but just about to fall asleep, she hears Megan's phone ringing.
"Who's calling in the early hours?" gerutu Tia who intends to turn off Megan's phone.
Turns out Ruben made the call.
Out of curiosity, Tia received the call and as she placed the phone on her earlobe came Ruben's angry-looking voice.
"Megan.. how dare you take my laptop! I'll report this as a theft case and just look at all the files that will be spread out in public!" menacam Reuben.
