Arman yawned, he stretched his hand to the right and to the left. Upon waking up the young man immediately saw a bright light emanating from the window. The thin curtains that covered it, made the light from outside could be seen clearly.
"Oh God!" peekkik Arman's.
He who had just regained consciousness woke up all his friends who were asleep on the floor. Ever since Mei got into a trance last night, they were all waiting for Mey to wake up outside the room and apparently everyone was asleep in the living room. Some sleep while sitting on a chair, leaning against a wall, even lying on a floor mattress while hugging a blanket.
"Wake up! Weys! Wake hunt!" yell Arman.
"Ah, what the hell, Man. I'm still fucking!" erang Cendol's.
"Man, I just brushed this off," Dollmen added.
"Mey how! Mey! How lonely?" armand asked still trying to wake up his friend.
"Oh yes! Don't let that child die!" screamed Dollmen and then immediately moved as soon as it opened its eyes.
This commotion makes other friends wake up. They all rushed to the room where Mey was last night. As soon as the door was opened, Mey was apparently asleep with both hands and feet still tied. They hesitated to approach, not knowing what had happened to Mey.
"Secondly, not alive!" Dolmen.
"God! Offhand lo!" peekik Indy's.
Finally Armand approached and checked Mey's condition which still seemed helpless. Armand examined Mey's breathing, as well as her pulse, until she finally turned her head towards her friend.
"Yes, he's just sleeping. Or maybe faint."
Hearing that, everyone dared to approach, and check Mey's condition while continuing to look at the girl pity.
"How do you do, Man?" ask Cendol.
"At least we should report Mr. Kades first. Who knows there's 'smart people' around here'. However, we must make sure Mey's condition is good, or not."
"Yes, really. So let's just let him be like this?" ask Dollmen.
"dtm .... " Armand who had not been able to give a decision could only stare at Mey. Of course he has to give the best decision for the current conditions.
Suddenly Mey, who they thought was fainting, began to move like a person who had slept well. He squirmed while yawning with a very natural movement. They were initially silent, then took a step back to avoid further events like last night. But after waiting apparently Mey did not perform dangerous actions as before.
"Why are you all here?" mey asked when she saw all her friends were staring at her intensely.
"Mey? Are you all right?" indy asked doubtfully.
"It's good. Why emang?" mey asked plainly as if she knew nothing of what had happened to her.
"Pian, don't you know about last night?" ask Khusnul with a special call from their homeland.
"Earlier events? What's wrong? As far as I was last night we all went to sleep sitting on the porch and seeing the shadows in the haunted house."
"Keep after you don't remember, Mey?"
"After? Hm... Notwithstanding. It seems like I slept too well last night, to the point that nothing happened. What's going on?" tanyanya.
Hearing Mey's words her friends now look at each other. They are also confused about what really happened because suddenly Mei did not remember the incident at all.
"God! What happened last night?" asked Mey by continuing to urge her friend who had just been silent since.
"Huh? A trance? Any timing? How can!" mey with a lot of questions.
"God! We should have asked that! How can you be possessed until you almost want to kill me!" dolmen said, rubbing his neck.
"Eh, who really? This serious? What's going on?" her questions started getting serious. Especially when he finds out that what happened last night almost took Dolmen's life.
Finally they told all the events in detail without anything added or reduced. Hearing the explanation of his friend, Mey looked surprised and had a moment to dumbfounded.
"Well, that's what it is!" he said he started whining about his condition last night.
"Eat him this morning, we're going to Mr. Kades' house. Discuss this issue" Armand said.
"Yes, take a sneak up there. Before Mr. Kades left for the village hall. Fear you can relapse again like a semalem. Nyeremin knows!" peekkik Dolmen's.
"Yes already. Ready to go, Mey. We're both going to Mr. Kades' house now. Uh not both. Nul, our temenin. The others here, prepare your proker for today. Inget! We're only here for a minute, so don't waste time relaxing" Armand said.
"okay."
After washing their faces and brushing their teeth, the three of them went to Mr. Kades' house. Deliberately go early in the morning so that when they get there, they still have plenty of time to chat.
"So that's the story" said Mr. Kades after the two of them, Khusnul and Armand told him what had happened to them last night.
"Yes, Sir. Did something like this happen often before? Given around this village there are still many offerings that residents always give to the waiters of this place?" ask Armand.
Mr. Kades smiled.
"The act of giving offerings has indeed existed long ago when our ancestors lived. It's just that according to their narration, this offering was given not for the village guard, but for the god who resides here. They've lived a long time, even before this village existed."
"What time, sir? How can you be sure about that? A deity? What god, sir? What religion do people here follow, sir? Considering I see there is only a mushola in this village. And what I know, in Islam there is no term god god who must be worshipped and given offerings."
Khusnul repeatedly nudged Armand's leg because he had been presumptuous to ask sensitive things to the Village Chief. It's just, Armand seemed to not know the sign language that Khusnul gave the actual direction he knew but did not want to know?
Not angry, but Mr. Kades actually returned to smiling.
"I'm happy with Mas Armand's question. Most of the villagers embraced Islam. It's just that, many people do not practice the Islamic religion itself. Although they continue to practice prayer, but they still follow the teachings that have been passed down by the ancestors. One of them with that offering."
"Sorry, yes, sir. My friend was too presumptuous to say that," Khusnul said immediately apologized, because he himself felt that what Armand said was a little too late. They were guests in the village.
"It's okay, Ma'am. It's only natural that Mas Arman thinks like that. I understand."
"Sir, Sorry. If I may know, it is the house near us, the house that my father said used to commit suicide often raises things strange or scary, huh? Did the demon that entered my body come from there? Remembering we were sitting on the porch last night before I was possessed."
"Haha. Well, it's actually true. There often seem to be shadows. I thought it was just the jinn qorin alone. You know for yourself, if the genie qorin of a deceased human will continue to be in the residence of that person and resemble the human itself. Moreover, the case of death of the occupants of the house is suicide. As far as I know, the person who died by suicide, his jin qorin will continue to do the events while he died repeatedly until the world ends. That's all I know."
"That means last night was the genie, sir?" ask Mey.
"Looks like. Well, you can come to Mr. Sobri's house. He can heal the possessed. Just check there, ma'am. He'll know what happened to you yesterday."
"Where's the house, sir?" ask Khusnul.
"That, that's near the woods. Not far from your home. You've never been there before, have you?"
"Oh, I know, sir. I've seen that house" said Armand.
