CHP: Company Inauguration Part 2
Daniel spoke with the other guests, while Anna stood by his husband. She only heard every conversation her husband did not understand.
Then a servant brought a few glasses of drink to Daniel. Daniel took it and wanted to drink it but was stopped by his wife.
" What is liquor? "
" It's wine, do you want to drink it too? "
Anna frowned when she saw that Daniel was going to drink the alcoholic beverage. Anna stopped her husband from drinking the illicit drink.
" You can't drink it! "
Daniel thought his wife wanted to drink that too. But his forehead wrinkled when the wife actually forbade him to drink one of his favorite drinks. Daniel did not understand Anna's intention of not allowing the drink.
" What's the matter, why did you forbid me to drink this? "
" It's illegal, our religion doesn't allow us to drink that illicit drink. "
Daniel did not understand Anna at all, he did not know what to do and was kept away from his religion now. Daniel had converted to Islam but he knew nothing about Islam.
Anna understood with a confused look from her husband. Anna realized that her husband was a Muslim now, but Anna had never taught her husband about Islam.
" I don't understand. "
Daniel put the drink in his hand on the table. He looked at Anna who was also looking at him.
" I knew you converted to Islam just because you wanted to marry me back then. You do not enter Islam with all your heart but there are other intentions in it. "
" Will you learn Islam not because of me, but because of yourself? "
" Yes, I will learn about Islam. Can I have a favor? "
" Hm yes. "
" Teach me Islam Annastasia! "
Anna was moved to hear the husband's request so truly. His tears did not appear on his smooth white cheeks, but Daniel quickly wiped away the tears.
" You can't cry. "
Daniel kissed his wife's forehead long enough for her to let go when a voice on the podium rang out. Aaron, the owner of the party tonight, is speaking to welcome the guests who are present tonight.
Daniel and Anna are focused on the show's owners as much as any other guest. Daniel smiled so thinly that even Anna didn't notice it. Daniel looked at Aaron from quite a distance away with a murderous gaze.
No different from her husband, Anna also looked at the man with a confused look. She felt familiar with the man's face, she kept remembering who the man was.
" Blessed for now Aaron. Because that happiness will soon disappear along with you. "
" The man's face is no stranger to me, it seems like I've met him. Wasn't that guy the same guy who was in New York at the time? "
" I want to go to the toilet for a minute. "
" I can take you Anna. "
Anna shook her head and after Daniel agreed to her current wish, she walked away from the party area to find the toilet. While Anna is away, Daniel is approached by Aaron who has since finished with a speech and officially opened his new company.
