Chapter 12 - A Secret
"What else?" Hardik Daisy with perfectly widened and flushed eyes on the two bodyguards that block his steps. "We made a deal. Looky!" Daisy shows the letter of agreement she brought to the bodyguards who intercepted her. He doesn't want the same thing to happen again.
"We know, Miss Daisy." Sahut Aron nodded obediently.
"Then? Why are you still blocking my way?" Daisy asked still very angry.
"Mr Ethan asked us to take you. Serves you well, and doesn't let your body get chafed."
Daisy's mouth turned round in disbelief, "so you mean Ethan told you to take me?"
"Yes miss. Tuan kept stressing that miss not to be scuffed." Aron again.
"Damn it!" Daisy was upset. He almost fell asleep because Ethan was so attentive to him that he prepared a driver and a waiter. Apparently only so that his body does not blister. "I was almost lost to it. He's just worried about this body."
Daisy walks towards the parked car in front of the mansion's main door. His eyes widened instantly at the luxurious car there. His mouth opened and quickly turned to Aron.
"Did Ethan prepare this car for me?" He asked with eyes sparkling in disbelief at the luxury car.
"No, miss. Car for that lady over there." Aron pointed to the sedan behind the luxury car. Daisy looked in the direction that Aron pointed, and immediately laughed insipidly. 'That shit can't give me a fancy car. Thank you for giving me this old car ride.' Daisy murmured inwardly as she walked towards the old sedan car that Aron pointed at earlier.
"If it's just an old car, but, it's quite comfortable." Daisy commented on the way to her office.
"This car even though it's old output, but get the best care. It just looks old, but this car is very powerful." Said Aron sitting in the front seat next to the steering wheel. Daisy did get one driver and one bodyguard. Aron and Eron. They are twins, and hired for Daisy.
"Why did your master tell you to escort me and become my driver?" Ask Daisy a little curious.
"Master doesn't want you to run away." said Aron looking back,"and making sure it wasn't scuffed."
"Hahahah," Daisy laughed insipidly. 'I took it too high to think Ethan had any other meaning. Of course he doesn't want me to run away.' Daisy's mind is upset,'and don't get scuffed? Cih, it feels like I want to just fall down and see how she reacts.'
Arriving at the office.
"You just wait here." Daisy got out of the car. Although Daisy said so, but both bodyguards followed. Daisy could only smile wryly and roll her lazy eyes.
"Are you guys going to keep following me?"
"That's Ethan's orders."
"Mr Ethan asked that."
Daisy shakes inexhaustible. "How can I deal with a shitty guy like Ethan." Daisy muttered to herself.
"Daisy!"
The girl looked towards the source of the voice. Lily walked over from the lobby door.
"Who are they? Why can't you be contacted this week?" Lily asked standing in front of Daisy and took a quick look at the two bodyguards behind Daisy.
"There's a lot going on, I can't explain it here." Daisy.
"Come to my room." Let Lily pull Daisy's hand. His eyes glanced at the two bodyguards behind Daisy."You can't come along. Just wait in the lobby. If it's still pushy, I'll call your boss."
Aron's eyes turned sharp, "who's our boss?" just to make sure Jikan Lily really knows who's boss.
"Code: 3742N."
Aron and Eron bowed respectfully and retreated. Daisy, who doesn't really understand her eyebrows, 'does Lily and Ethan know each other? Why would Eron and Aron's reaction obey just because of hearing the code Lily mentioned?'
"Come on!" Let Lily pull Daisy's hand.
In Lily's room.
"Do you know each other?"
Lily placed two cups of tea on the table smiling at the question from Daisy who was now sitting opposite her.
"Drink first."
Daisy takes her tea and drinks, although she feels awkward, but she does not put the slightest suspicion on Lily, because Lily is the boss.
"We know, but we're not friends."
Daisy's eyes narrowed, "do you mean?" Lily just smiled. "Knowing each other but not being friends, does that mean you're hostile to each other?"
