Lilis stirred the porridge that was on the bowl. As usual, Lilis will feed the mother when it is late afternoon. Every now and then Lilis cleaned the bottom of her mother's lips that were a little bit smudged
"Mom still want to?"
"No," he replied slowly making Lilis nod and then placed the bowl of porridge on the table not far from where he was sitting.
"After dinner, I'm asleep, yeah!"
"Assalamualaik."
The sound of greetings from outside was heard making Lilis look at each other with the mother.
"Who, did Mom come?"
"Maybe Arul?"
"Yes, it's not possible that Arul's kang came because his voice was different."
"Let's see!" her door made Lilis nod and then get up and step her foot towards the main door.
"Uncle Somar?" he said a little unexpected when he saw his uncle Somar who seemed to take off his shoes while carrying a bag that looks a little bit big.
"Are you back from town?" tanyakanya.
"Home home, dong but not for long. Uncle has a business in the city," he explained as he stepped up the steps and upon arrival he immediately hugged the body of Lilis who was a little dislike the embrace of his Pama.
Lilis knew her Uncle was the brother of her Father but still she did not like being hugged like this. He was married but unfortunately his wife had died and so was his 4-month-old daughter at the time. Said the spirit of the mother calling her little daughter but I don't know Lilis also did not know any further.
"Where's your mom?"
"There's in Uncle."
"It's healed?"
"Not yet."
"Oh, hold on to it you take care of it too."
Lilis gave a small smile and helped Uncle Somar to carry his sizable bag. He followed in the footsteps of Uncle Somar, a tall man with a slightly distended stomach and stature that could be said to be like a thug. Just look with his hair that looks long but, deliberately tied back so it is not too memorable creepy.
"Oh, have you eaten, huh?" uncle Somar asked as he had sat beside Maria.
"It's uncle."
"Make uncle tea!" his orders make Laras disturb and then walk towards the kitchen.
"You're still sick, yeah. Quickly heal. Don't you pity to see Lilis has to take care of you."
"How else to? It seems hard to heal," Maria replied in a slightly unclear voice.
"That means you're a troublesome person too, yeah."
Maria smiled slightly and then looked down. Her husband's brother never changed. Every speech was full of pungency that could have hurt someone but Maria was okay what her husband's brother said was right.
"This is the tea" said Lilis who put the cup of tea on the board.
"So now what are your activities, Lis?"
"Well take care of Mom, take care of the house and keep the goats."
"That's it?"
Lilis nodded.
"It's a shame that a beautiful girl like you has to take care of everything. Why not just get married?"
"No Uncle."
"Why? I heard a lot of people come to propose. Why not just accept it?" he lit a cigarette that was in his mouth.
"Lilis doesn't want to."
"Why?"
"Lilis wants to take good care of Mom first."
"No, listen to Maria! If you hear like that you should be eager to heal, make your child does not have to bother to take care of you who are sick like this."
"It's okay uncle, it's Lilis' obligation to look after Mom anyway if not Lilis who keeps who else."
"Rather than you work to take care of goats it is better to go to town alone with Uncle."
"To town?"
"Yes to town. There uncle has a business."
"What business is that?"
Lilis was silent waiting for Uncle Somar who was seen exhaling smoke from his mouth.
"Like restaurant. You could be a waiter there."
"Servant?"
"Yes, would you?"
"How's that?"
"Just drop off the buyer's shirt after it's done. His salary is also a lot about 3 million."
Lilis whispered mentioning the number 3 million, that was quite a lot for Lilis. Three million new Lilis can get if he sells about two goats.
"Many of them."
"Yes much. You want Lilis?"
Lilis was silent for a moment then she looked at her mother who was seen to be silent with both eyes still staring at her daughter.
"Other times."
"Loh, Why?"
"If Lilis works who's gonna look after Mom at home."
"So you don't want to go?" uncle asked somar as if unsure of Lilis' answer.
Lilis shook her head slowly.
"Lilis will leave when I'm cured."
"Well, whatever the decision is, it's the same with you. Oh yeah, try to get that bag!" his pointing made Lilis turn her head to look at the bag she had brought.
"What is Uncle?"
"Yes, take it!" tell him to get Lilis to quickly get up from the board and take the black bag that her Uncle was carrying.
A second later Uncle Somar took out a few packs of bread and other souvenirs from the city making Lilis smile happily.
"It's chocolate-flavored bread, it's delicious. Eat this Lilis!"
Lilis interrupted accompanied by a smile that fluffed on her lips, so naive. Both of his eyes sparkled staring at the bread extended by his Uncle.
"Try eating! It tastes so good," tell him to make Lilis comply.
"Well, good, Uncle."
"Uncle, I told you."
"Lilis likes it."
"Likes?"
Lilis nodded.
"It's good to eat a lot!" the peech.
From here uncle Somar smiled as he looked at the look on the face of his nephew who was very beautiful. Apparently he did not expect his brother had a beautiful child like Lilis. There are a lot of men who want Lilis as their wife.
Uncle Somar's lips opened slightly when he saw Lilis' lips that looked very beautiful biting the bread he bought in the city, very beautiful indeed.
